Wonderful efforts! Reminds me of the great feelings our bike club gets each May for Bike Month when we make hundreds & hundreds of bikes available for low-income children. Our members refurb them throughout the year and save them up for this event.
Paying our joy of cycling forward feels so great! :-)

Look at all those bikes!!!! What a fantastic thing to be a part of! The kids are going to love them. Happy holidays!

Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health.
And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present;
The result being that he does not live in the present or the future;
he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.

Yesterday, I got together with several of my friends from my car club at the local Chevy dealership and assembled bicycles that will be given away on Friday night for deserving kids in the surrounding communities. This is our fourth year doing this and it has grown in popularity with the community each year. Santa will arrive on a firetruck and hear all the kids wishes, and then the elves unveil the bikes from behind a large curtain that they have been hidden behind.
Here are couple shots of some of the bikes we put together. I hope this shows up as it was posted on my FB account. Anyhow, enjoy.
I just thought I'd share, as it is one of the nicest things I think I have been involved with lately. It really helps to get you in the Christmas spirit when you do something that will make other people happier.
