I am new to cycling and have been limited by health but did ride 45 in July. I don't know what to det as a goal. I will be gone for 2 weeks in August so my cycling time will be limited. It also doesn't help to live just shy of 7000 feet. I use a Garmin to track my mileage.

Since at least half of my riding is on my mountain bike, AND we're heading for fire season which can stop bicycling altogether, I'm going to be conservative and choose

1.5%, or 150 miles as my challenge.

I don't know if it was 68.5 or 69.5 - Garmin says one thing, Cyclemeter says another. Both have wonky information in certain things - Garmin has way too much elevation gain and Cyclemeter has way too high of a max speed. SIGH

10,000 miles is the Team's monthly goal. What % of that goal can you reach in a given month? To get it going, I'm gonna shoot for 10% of the Team's goal. That will put me at 1,000 miles for the month. So, each time I cycle, I will log in what I biked, what my cumulative total is, and how much remains before reaching my goal. Example: I rode 35 miles and have 1,000 miles as my goal, 35 / 35 / 765. Good luck.
