Ah yes, the first day. Glad only your ego was bruised--and no scratches for the bike--!

Today we'll begin heading for the biggest heat wave in my area since 1898. I may not make my goal, but will be close. That may have to do. We'll see once we start rolling.

first day with clips fell; scrapped my shin and bruised my ego. It had to happen at some point...good news the bike had no scratches.

My goal is 5% , I went for a little tour, 3 day ride . Strong head wind lot of hills, I live in a small town is Southern Illinois . And went to the Tennessee state line , For the month 559.1 miles is what I have road.
