I've done several sprint triathlons! I can refer you to a free training plan from women's only triathlon group out of Baton Rouge. If you're within driving distance it's a wonderful first time tri experience, very positive! I look forward to it, this will be my third year to compete.

Welcome! I've never attempted a triathlon. My only advice is to check in here frequently, where less-ambitious people like me will cheer you on and be very impressed with your level of dedication.

I have no advice on training for a tri, but welcome to the team.

One Day at a Time:
1) 10,000 steps daily
2) fruit & vegie at every meal and log
3) aerobic or strength train every day
4) 7 hours sleep daily
5) check in with SP daily

August 2014 goals:
1) Get my nutrition back under control and record daily
2) Finish the forest service quilt and wall hanging
3) Ride my bike 25 miles a week
4) Clean and de-clutter one room each week

Hi!

I have been riding my bike for months but lately I have been doing longer trips and up hill rides..

I want to start doing off road riding and train for a Triathlon thats in Novermber...

anyone have any training tips.?? something like a C2TRI?
