I am very guilty of having done that to my beautiful Colnago. I guess I didn't learn my lesson because I still put my bike on top. I'm afraid of backing into something or having someone hit me from the rear. Putting the bike inside the car is out of the question (Unless the weather is really bad) cause I'm a fanatic about neatness.

Oh, my neighbor did that (not quite that bad). I decided I would never have one on the top. Got a great hitch carrier.
One Day at a Time:
1) 10,000 steps daily
2) fruit & vegie at every meal
3) aerobic or strength train every day
4) 7 hours sleep daily
5) check in with SP daily
June 2014 goals:
1) lose 4 pounds
2) finish walk way
3) finish blocks for Forest Service quilt
4) scan old photos
It's never too late to be what you might have been.
Yeah, doubt I will EVER bother transporting a bike this way! Ugh!
