One of the most difficult things to learn about trail riding is to look down the trail. There is a tendency to look right at the trail in front of the bike. Looking down makes the bike seem like it is really moving faster than it really is.

I'd give the beginner trail a try. The trail looks great in the pictures posted on the site. Going from our rails to trails here, to woods is a whole different ball game. It's great!
I think I am ready to try some of the novice trails. I can ride 24 miles on Rails to Trails, so I think I am ready to give it a shot!
