Thanks guys, will try!

ETA: So I moved my saddle (both height and distance from the stem) in accordance with the article. But it turns out that, according to the recommended proportions, my stem is way too short and set too high. Huh. I think there's a manufacturer included spacer on there... I guess that's the next thing I'm going to play with. Fun, thank you!

Great article, thx for passing along!

Also, re: upper back soreness...can't help re: fit, but are you doing a lot of stretches...? They always help me out a bunch.

Hi:
Check out this very interesting article I found on do-it-yourself bike fit.

As for a saddle: I had great success with a Specialized saddle. I had my sit bones measured at a bike shop that had the Specialized gel pad thingamabob. Perfect fit!

Hi, I'm looking for any fitters or experienced cyclists in the group! I can't afford a proper fit at the moment, but I'm having the following issues: My neck and upper back / trapezius get really tight and sore after a long ride. I am also having saddle issues. I started to fiddle with the problem on my own by moving my saddle way forward on its rails. This has helped me to relax my upper body a little bit, but it hasn't resolved the whole problem. Any ideas on what else I might adjust to get more comfortable? Thanks!
