It's always wonderful to see such inspiration!

We have some SUPER members of our local bike club who are SO generous with their time and efforts and have inspired many children in our community.

One of our members is retired and all the neighborhood kids take their bikes to him for repairs and even upgrades! A story I heard once was that a girl took her bike to him to get her tires filled and instead he took the bike back into his shop (where bikes and bike parts are EVERYWHERE) and came out with a bigger bike and said "I think you've outgrown that other bike, how about this one instead?" The girl happily rode off with her new bike.

She returned the following day with a plate of brownies and gave him a quarter. He said: "What's the quarter for?" "For my bike!" She replied. To which he said: "You know, that's JUST what I was thinking of asking for that bike!" :-)

Thank goodness for great people like your father and so many others!!
