I love the table training idea! I have found nutrition to be key to my fitness performance and how I overall feel. You are going to love cycling.

Am hoping to really ramp it up this year myself as well!

Been doing Spinning class 2 x week, stationary bike & elliptical 4-5 times week, some outdoor walk / jog / Nordic walking. ST 3 x week.

Planning to do a LOT more cycling commutes.

I want this to be the year of my first multi-day cycling tour. Most likely destination? 1,000 Islands up along the northern border of New York state...woo hoo!

Look at water running. Balance work, BOSU, Swiss Ball, etc.

Do you have a boot? If so you can make it fit and SPD pedal, you can still ride if you think outside the box and talk to your Dr or PT.

I've been dealing with the same thing for a little over a month. Just got my trainer and will start logging some time with it.

I have Plantar Fasciitis thanks to my over zealous training approach but no owrries, adapt and overcome---HOOOOAH!

Using my indoor trainer, light walking on the treadmill and seated strength training is about all I can handle right now...

then there is always "table training"...cant outrun or outride a bad diet...
