My friend has one and loves it. He studded his own tires and we rode alot last year. He rides it year round which we all think is torture but he clearly loves riding it. It's pretty heavy though. It's a blast to ride in the snow, I have a pic of me riding I will have to post lol. No snow this year except one storm which he rode in.

The only way out is through...

Yeah, Ti is nice and it has it's place.

I just feel in love with the Nuvinci N360 continuously variable transmission hub! Definitely going to spec on of those when I add a Fat tire bike to my Epic. The technology is so simple, yet so amazing. Love it!

Up here people ride either a 907, made by Merlin in either aluminum or titanium, very light weight in spite of the heavy looking wheels... or if they can't afford one of those, they buy a Surly.
Either way, the flotation is incredible and people here ride them on our unplowed, unpacked ski/hiking trails.
I don't ride enough in the winter, at least not yet, to make one worth buying, although I did try one out. WOW!
I have studded tires on my summer mountain bike, but those sure don't work as well.

Pricey bikes! Cold and slop 'n glop just doesn't mix with cycling for me...lol!

Any body out there riding a Surly Pugsley or similar? My son had one back in 2006ish before he moved out of state, it was a fun bike. Their popularity is really taking off, I am considering getting a Salsa Mukluk 3.
