Ugh! Just found out that my fitness center which finally re-opened after being flooded out earlier this Sept. no longer offers Spinning on Saturdays! Trying pester them into it...along with putting a Spin bike out on the open floor...something they've refused to do thus far for reasons I can't understand!

Will we count minutes or miles?

One Day at a Time:
1) 10,000 steps daily
2) fruit & vegie at every meal and log
3) aerobic or strength train every day
4) 7 hours sleep daily
5) check in with SP daily

For October goals are:

1) ride at least twice a week, and use my trainer twice a week
2) get fully back on my nutrition and record daily
3) finish 2 quilts

I am in too. I probably won't get my bike trainer set up until January because of where the tree is usually where my bike sits! If I can get it up earlier I will!

Picking up with Spinning class again this Sat., but the other classes during the week are at 5:30 a.m....no WAY can I get to THAT! :-)

But I do use the stationary often during the week with intervals that involve standing climbs "as if" I was on a spin bike.

Good indoor idea! I'll be hooking up my trainer in February. I'm kind of excited to give it a try. I'm going to be switching to clipless pedals and figure that's the best way to get used to them. I'll check back when I have my bike hooked up.

As I was saying to Bill I just do not want to see the riding season end, but it sure is.. were I live the snow will be on the ground till March..
but I still want to ride and get ready for next season,
I have my bike on the trainer and I try to ride (spin) at least 4x a week,
so I would like to propose a challenge, how does the team feel about having a
spinning challenge we could track minutes or miles.
if we did miles. we could say for every 15 minutes of spinning that will = a mile
we can see how many miles the team can rack up from now till March 1st
I can make a tempet and you can update it daily or weekly
but I would like to know if anyone would be interested..

also your do not have to have a bike on a trainer, a spinning bike or stationary bike will work the same.
