I would love to ride that NYC ride.

All I need is to be invited to do another speaking engagement in the Central Park are 9-16, 17, or 19, I did one there a few years ago and as I looked out of my hotel window and saw a sea of cyclists heading to Central Park. I wish I had mine along, but my hands were full with the convention. Maybe someday I will get the time.

Most of my riding is rural and I don't do the city thing very much. Honolulu is an adventure, cyclists don't follow rules and if you do, the risk of getting your ticket punched increases.

The Twin Cities are the opposite and they have some great biking in the city.

Chicago, take your bike in a cab to Busse Woods or end up road kill unless you can get to a bike trail near the lake or way out of the city.

Lol, I've had enough long distance traveling this year. Especially to NYC. Maybe next year. I'm still contemplating Boston's Hub on Wheels in September but I think I need to get some group riding under my belt before I try either event.

Here's your golden opportunity to nail a CENTURY on your bike in the BIg Apple!

I am sorely tempted by this one. It is not as crazy huge as the 5 borough ride I did earlier this year which had 32,000 cyclists. This, by comparison had around 6,000 cyclists last year. Last year our local bike club had around 8 folks who went. I'm hoping for at least as many. There is a good likelihood I'm going to nab this one!
