Bill, That's great! I hope to work on speed and endurance during the next 12 months... but I'm also competing in triathlons & half marathons! It's kind of hard to really focus!
As far as getting better, after I reached the top of the hill, they told me their best rider was a guy named Josh. He started riding 2 years earlier and was 100 pounds heavier! Well, they said he had to stop 3 times going up that hill the first time... and now he's the best rider in the group. So, I'm sure he'd say practice makes perfect! Or at least great improvements! You gotta ride them hills to get better!
