Stopped by the bike shop to see my man, and what does he show me? My snowboard! Woohoo, the snowboards came in! I'm so jazzed. Boots and bindings will be in soon, and we also have snow shoes on order. Exciting stuff!

I didn't get anything specific for my bike, but I did get a new pair of running shoes and another pair for everyday use.

wow, now that is a Merry Christmas! I didn't even bother with my family. They don't have a clue or care about cycling equipment. I have a suspicion they think that my need to "punish" myself with hours on the bike might be related to some sort of mental disorder or disease. That's alright, I think the same of them for not wanting to ride a bike. emoticon

I did get a $50 gift card to a local bike shop, and a $50 mastercard gift card which I plan on putting toward a new pair of running shoes.

Sounds like you did awesome! I keep trying to convince my family I like bike toys for holidays and birthdays...they still don't really believe me! My boss did get me a Performance Bike gift card, so I'll be getting new pedals for my "extra" bike.

I made out like a bandit this Christmas. In between my boyfriend and my folks, I wound up with a new Elite wireless trainer, new SIDI cycling shoes in a brilliant red to match the highlights on my road bike, awesome new red pedals to match the shoes to match the bike (LOL!), an Ipod shuffle which I'm sure I'll use a lot since I tend to do a lot of solo rides, and a Pearl Izumi barrier jacket, as well as Pearl Izumi thermafleece gloves. Thankfully my guy understands since he's eyeball-deep in bikes as well, and my parents do too, so I received what I needed. I'm ecstatic. Gives me that extra oomph to keep going, cold weather or not. emoticon
