Wow , that's great Lydia ! Good for you.. My goal was to ride 1,000 miles this year and a metric century this year , at least by the end of Fall.. Hopefully I'll get there, I think the best way for me to do that at this point is to join a group charity ride which will push me ...
Work has taken back a lot of my time and the sun setting at 7:30 makes getting home on weekdays harder to ride and train...
Keep up the good work :)
Congratulations! It feels so good to reach those goals.
One Day at a Time:
1) 10,000 steps daily
2) fruit & vegie at every meal
3) aerobic or strength train every day
4) 7 hours sleep daily
5) check in with SP daily
June 2014 goals:
1) lose 4 pounds
2) finish walk way
3) finish blocks for Forest Service quilt
4) scan old photos
It's never too late to be what you might have been.
Congratulation on completing your century!! I too completed my century last week at Hotter N' Hell. God blessed me with great weather and it only reached 96. Great weather and and even greater ride!
Living life one mile and adventure at a time! Life is way to short be be living it on the sidelines. Set a goal and go for it!
Every time I rely on Jesus He never lets me down.
Faith + grace = salvation
I also go indoors when the weather get bad but living
in California it doesn't take much to ride in comfort.
I just won't ride if there's a chance of rain.
Hopefully, we'll have a mild winter. I plan to ride all winter long, I've done it before, but BRRR!
Also, when it starts to get cold I'll join a health club for days when it's just not practical to ride.

now your next goal is to do a century in April. which means riding and keeping your fitness during the winter months.
That's AWESOME! Congratulations.
I completed my first Century in June of this year, and did another in early August. Kind of makes all the Metrics I've done since seem boring and mundane. :o) I did another Metric just today and the whole time I kind of felt like, "Well, another Metric...wahoo." Probably should have gone for another Century but my thoughts were elsewhere and I really wasn't into my ride. I did it more for the health benefits than anything.
That is such a fantastic thing you've done.
Today I rode 100 miles at the Clarksville Tn Sunrise Classic Bike Ride. This is a goal I set for myself in the spring, and one I'm proud of reaching.
Anybody else reach a big goal, or have a proud moment to share?
