Don't you hate the severe weather changes this time of year. I don't mind the cold if it would stay cold. Hate hitting the road with it being 45, then by the time I get home it is 70. I have been tempted to purchase an old industrial building that is for sale and put in an indoor bike track.

Colorado's weather can be really strange this time of year. I've ridden 3 times in November, for an average of 40 miles/day. We had a terrific snow storm at the end of October, but then it cleared up and we almost had 80 degree weather 2 days ago! My resolution is to ride as often as I can throughout the Winter. My minimum requirements are 35 degrees if it's sunny or 45 degrees with clouds, no rain or snow. I have the right clothes and I would rather be out riding than working out in the gym!!

Here's my goal: bring the trainer in from the shed and start using it when too dark to ride!

What a wonderful day! No one in the village doing anything. - Shiki

Not looking foward to darkness every day after work until next spring....

To get thru until then in a positive way, I will use the fitness center for classes, treadmill, etc and go ahead and put the road bike on the trainer in front of the big screen.

My husband does night rides in the fall and spring. In the woods with a group of friends. All wear lights and they have a ton of fun. OK, maybe that's the brewery stop afterward! I have to remember that I am not like that hard core group and just do my best.

129 by my birthday,again!

Warmed up today got in 20 mile along the river. Still lots of fall colors. I'm dreading the basement miles this winter.

We are so very rapidly approaching the end of the year. I know we are all getting busy preparing for Thanksgiving and Christmas, but we should not forget our exercise. This month I will continue to keep within my nutrition guidelines, and also get at least 30 minutes of exercise daily.
