I have to admit that I'm rooting for the Yankees this time around.... Although the Lee-Sabathia "duel" really wasn't last night - Lee was fricking awesome. And Mariano Rivera ain't the closer he once was, so Phillies look set to repeat.
Pedro tonight, wonder how that's doing to go down in Red Sox nation...

If God invented marathons to keep people from doing anything more stupid, the triathlon must have taken Him completely by surprise. -P.Z. Pearce
I have shied away from duathlons in the past because I am not a fast runner. In triathlons, I stand a chance because I'm good in the other two disciplines, and then I just try to hang on during the run :)
I especially wasn't going to do the race last weekend because it was the week after my marathon. But my friend talked me into doing a relay with him because he didn't want to bike.
I should have warmed up better, because my legs were dead at the start of the race, and still were when I hit the biggest hill at mile 2.5. I started to feel stronger, but still got dropped pretty bad on the hills. Nevertheless, I ended up at ~19 mph, and as a team we placed 3rd!
Not bad for a week removed from a marathon, and not having ridden my bike since August :)
