As long as the jersey comes with a full zipper, I'm in.

I sent a link to this thread to Shumsky Enterprises. They are the company that manages sales of Spark products. I suppose the ball is in their court. I think a quality jersey would be a popular item.

Has there been anymore information about a Spark jersey? As Christmas arrives I'm needing new gear for next spring. I've spoke with several of my Columbus riding Sparks and they'd be interested as well.

I would consider a jersey ..... like what others have said shorts/bibs is personal preference. I think it would be a hard sale if you just sold as a package.

Jersey, I'd definitely add it to the rotation! -I'd have to be sold on the quality of bibs before committing.

Definitely jersey.

Shorts? No way. Like the others, it's all about personal preference. I'm a bib man, myself, but again, there's good, bad and ugly...

Great idea!

I'd have to have a jersey for sure. I'm with most others about shorts; personal preference is key.

I'd probably get a jersey, but I don't know about the shorts. That's a great idea.

My experience with the workout clothes and other items on sale in the Sparkstore that the quality is very good so I can imagine that if you extend that trend to other items that they would be of good quality as well.

I would buy a set if it were good - bike shorts are one place I won't skimp in quality :)

Not to diverge and take this on another track, but it would cool if Sparkpeople would sponsor a cycling team so that you could wear your SP gear to rides/races in your area and it would be great advertising. Where I work they sponsored a cycling team, we had 53 people on it, for a 180 mile charity bike ride. The company's name was plastered everywhere and all over the news. It was great publicity.

I would be interested if the quality of the apparel was adequate.

I have found the Sugoi RS bibs, with the FX chamois, to be fantastic and help to provide for a great ride. I'm sure if SP had, perhaps, a decent pre-order commitment, they could offer a far better deal than the ridiculous $160.00 MSRP for the bib by purchasing in bulk. I've gotten the RS bib for as little as $90.00 each, so I know mark-up is through the roof!

And, although I prefer the fit and feel of the Descent Ice jersey, I like the look of the Sugoi RS team jerseys better.

Make it some quality stuff, with decent graphics, and I'm onboard!

I sent the Spark Apparel people a message asking if they had considered offering a cycling jersey and matching shorts/bibs. I would love to have one. Would you be interested in purchasing a kit if it was available? It would be a great way to promote a great health oriented group of people.
