I do think SP calculations of calories lost is correct. If you check mine log out there are times where I range from 2,000 to 5,000 calorie deficit. I do not think this is possible.
I know some others have commented on this as well in earlier posts.
Someone had come up with that if you use 40 cals of every mile biked that that would be a better indicator of calories lost. Not a perfect science but close.
Also on the info of Cruiser Bikes .... I know I have said this in the past but do not be afraid to check craigslist in your area for these bikes. You might be surprised what you will find.
