This week was Tuesday. It was a really good ride. I got into work early, and managed to keep up cadence pretty well on the ride home.

My plan for August is to join a masters swim group to prep for my, hit the hills on my bike to do repeats, and finally, get my running in. I have two months before my first triathlon. It's a mini, but should be a great way to get started.

Spinning is addictive! It did help me though really loose some weight and got me on my bike outside. Actually the instructor at the gym I joined early this year got me motivated to get back on my bike outside. A lot of us are doing the MS150 City to Shore (Philly to Ocean City, NJ) this October.

My goal for August is to ride my bike more than once a week. I am currently doing spinning 3x a week and the bike on Sundays for a 30-50 mile ride. This week I am riding on Thursday with a new group and riding a sponsored ride on Saturday that has choices of 50, 74 or 100. So far, I am planning on the 74 mile ride and dropping one of my spinning classes to fit this ride in. I might skip the Sunday riding group...we'll see.

Week 1 down. Hopefully by next week it won't be such a slog.
A month off will take a while to get back from.

My August resolution is going to be to somehow balance my cycling and half marathon training. I need to get some difficult hills in on my rides to be ready for the LiveSTRONG challenge in Austin in October.

My August resolution will be to ride my bike or Terra Trike recumbent (shameless plug) to my Mom's when I mow her lawn or take her for groceries.

At least once a week ride both to and from work. I've been almost completely off the bike in July, but I'm kicking back into the pedals now that all the heavy lifting of moving is done.

Summer is winding down quick.. But here in the North East we really haven't much of a Summer.
I would like to ride 150 miles this month!
I am at a plateau with only 6 lbs left to lose and I can't seem to do it

My August resolutions is to get out of bed early and do my exercising FIRST before I get too wrapped up in my day and then make excuses for not doing it. I rode two days ago and ran out of daylight before I was anywhere down the rode. Ended up only getting in about 6 miles.

Thanks for the great idea!! It helps to keep me motivated.

I have become obsessed with spin classes. And I'm doing a challenge at my Y to do 28 classes in 32 days.
I completed class #18 this morning.
Once the challenge is over on 8/12, I want to get back on the road and ride 150 miles for the month.

Can you believe it is August already. I hope everyone is doing better with the monthly resolutions than we usually do with New Years resolutions.

For August I will ride my new bike 20 miles a week, in addition to the miles we get on the tandem.

Ok, come on everyone, make those resolutions.
