I didn't have any goal for November as I was running about 25-35 miles a week with a couple of 10-20 milers on the trainer/bike thrown in. But since I'm dealing with an ankle injury it looks like I'll be putting in the miles on the bike for a while.

I'm still riding in Central Alabama. Got 305 miles in this November, second strongest month this year. [Training for and Riding a Century put August over the top]. I hope the weather stays bearable so that I can ride 250-300 miles in December.

2009 Cycling Goal: 2,750 miles (3,500 miles 8/15)
Year to 10/2: 3,255 miles

For November, I'm still riding to work even though we have had snow and ice. And I enjoy it too (surprise).

I think that you're the machine. Those times for the 5K are truly impressive. Lots of luck on the preparation and the actual half-marathon. Don't embarass your competition too bad.

Wow Bill, you are a machine! I didn't really have any cycling goals for November since I have been training for a half marathon next week. I have used cycling as to cross train and manage one or two 20 mile rides per week.

My first tri of 2009 will be in April, so you can bet that I will be thinking about what I need to do to get seriously started in January (December is going to be crazy for me).

So, how did November turn out for you? Did you meet or exceed your goals? Those of us still biking, are we ready for December?
As for me, November was a good month. I managed 30 rides in 30 days; exceeded my goal of 1,000 miles; and am anxiously waiting for the challenges that December will bring.
