The Tarmac is even better. Test rode it (Dura-Ace gruppo, I'm a Shimano boy, sorry) and it went like an absolute rocket. Shame it was more bike than I can afford, but I can save...

Add the Campy Record and it's going to be delicious. Love your Ridley too, I had a quick go on a friends Ridley TT bike and although the fit wasn't right it felt SO fast.

Thanks everyone. I am trying to figure out what I would like to do next.

Wongerchi... actually he wound up bringing the bike in to trade it for a size smaller, they said he could get something else if he wanted, so he ordered a Specialized Tarmac frame, it will be here Friday. And it will have Record Campy. It's gonna be awesome.

Great job Marnie on the century! And for snagging the new bike as well!

I dare you to stick the Super Record gruppo on it...

COMPLETED! We did 105 miles in 5 1/2 or so hrs. We passed many and ended strong. I sit here, a little tired but far from dead tired. We'll be doing the seattle to portland.. any others doing that?

I bought two raffle tickets.. put my name on one, my boyfriend's on the other.. and when we came back and checked, he'd won a 2009 Specialized Roubaix.... he wrecked his road bike 2 weeks ago and we actually did this century with his mtn bike that's converted to a touring bike... it was SO cool to see him pass all those roadies on his heavy touring bike with fenders... cracked me up. Their faces made it priceless. We had no time for conditioning... heck I worked 10 days STRAIGHT before this, no time for riding.

We are so happy that we don't know what do with ourselves. Although that new bike will be getting Campy like the others.

Yeah baby.
