She's pretty sore all over but doing better. Her lip is pretty swollen and scraped between her nose and lip, but no worse for the wear. She was supposed to go out with her friends on Sunday night, but hasn't decided if she will cancel. By then the swelling may be gone.
With three brothers, she's grown up with lots of scrapes and bruises. Out of 4 kids she's the one that has had a broken bone!
My daughter wiped out tonite while riding the trikke. Poor thing. She scraped her knee, hands, shoulder and pretty much caught her fall with her face!! OUCH! Imagine a 14 yr old girl with a scraped up, big 'ol fat lip. She's not too happy about it! LUckily it's only scraped and not split so stitches aren't needed.
We're icing it down now so hopefully it won't be too bad tomorrow.
J - on ebay they've been listing for $299-399. We bought one for $50 and the other was $100. Got both for less than the price of one new one! Hubby was excited about that!
Wyld - the Skki looks like a lot of fun, huh? If I lived where there was lots of snow I'd definitely get one! Southern CA doesn't get much of the white stuff, so I'll have to stick with the rolling version!
Before you all get too excited...it was NOT a bike! LOL!! We found a couple of these on craig's list. www.trikke.com/home.php
Talk about fun!!! And a good all-body workout to boot! We got them both for such a good deal that we couldn't pass it up. LOL...we probably looked rather funny driving down the road with those strapped into our bike rack!!
