you will be zipping all over the place before you know it - I didn't bike for nearly 30 years, and I was so wobbly when I took my bike out for the first time that the neighborhood kids were pointing nd laughing at me. 6 weeks later I did a 30 mile bike event in Chicago. I just kept going out every day and doing a little more.

Today I rode my bike. It was the first time I rode it about 17 years. It was nothing overly exciting. I just went up to the store, normally is about a 10-15 minute walk and is about a 4 minute bike ride.
It was however, with the exception of testing in the store, the first ride on this bike.
I was okay..I have a fear of sharp turns, but I am going to work that out. Initially I thought it was all a mistake as I was going up the road, then I realized that not only was I going into the wind, but I was going up a slight incline...so that made me feel a little bit better. haha All in all I had a lot of fun and can't wait for tomorrow when I plan to wake up early and go for a morning ride.
