OLTL Reboot Forces Howarth, Easton, Alderson Off GH — How Might ABC Hold Onto Them?

John McBain is soon to be McGone from General Hospital‘s Port Charles. As will fellow Llanview transplants Todd and Starr.
Daytime TV vet Michael Easton took to his Facebook page on Friday morning to advise fans not to send anything to the ABC soap’s studio for his Feb. 15 birthday, because by then he’ll no longer be hanging his hat there. “I’ve been informed that, due to some ongoing legal this and that, I cannot be at General Hospital after February 8th,” he shared.
UPDATE: SoapOperaDigest.com has confirmed that Roger Howarth (Todd) and Kristen Alderson (Starr) also must leave GH — at least for the time being.
RELATED | One Life to Live/All My Children Scoop: 22 Cast Members Confirmed for Relaunch
The “legal” matter to which Easton referred stems from the upcoming Hulu/iTunes relaunch of One Life to Live, where John, Todd and Starr originated. When the media company Prospect Park announced its new plan to revive both OLTL and All My Children, it was with the proviso that it owns and thus has first dibs on the sudsers’ characters — even on those that have since relocated to GH.
Though McBain seems fated to return to OLTL‘s Llanview, that does not necessarily mean that Easton will be playing him, since the ex-OLTL actors’ deals are not with Prospect Park but ABC. (Easton’s name was not among the dozen first confirmed for the relaunch, but his leading lady Melissa Archer’s was.)
In fact, Digest is hearing that John, Todd and Starr will all be recast for the online reboot.
GH meanwhile is holding out hope that it can hold onto the three actors, likely in different roles. (Welcome back, Caleb?) “General Hospital is excited about Michael Easton, Kristen Alderson and Roger Howarth staying on the show,” ABC said in a statement cited by Digest, “and we are exploring ways to allow that to happen.”
“[I'm] honestly not sure what the future holds,” Easton added on Facebook, “but I think it’s going to take some time and some very bright people to resolve it.”

Sneak Peek Week of February 25

The truth finally comes out about Caleb!

This week on General Hospital, the truth finally comes out about Caleb. We know the word "vampire" has been a contentious one – but get ready for answers that you can really sink your teeth into!

(Seriously, it's not what you think it is.)

Can you guys believe that Kate returned?! Sonny just can't catch a break! Kate tries to comprehend Trey's death but she still doesn't know the whole story. When she finally uncovers the truth, someone else pays the price.

Meanwhile, young love is proving to be just as complicated. Molly's relationship with TJ hangs in the balance because he's still upset that she helped Rafe escape from jail.

Can TJ find it in his heart to forgive her? More importantly, does Molly still want to be with him?

Sabrina, still reeling from 'accidentally killing the cop,' opens up to Patrick about her life. What was her childhood like? Why did she come to Port Charles? And on another note, will Maxie's guilt get the better of her?

All this, plus Duke has a few tricks up his sleeve to get his hands on the coveted relish recipe.

Tuesday February 19, 2013

Since the appearance of Rafe Kovich Jr. and his mother Alison, there's been mention of Alison's family, the Barringtons.

Amanda Barrington, played by Anne Jeffreys, was a big part of General Hospital in 1984, when she was involved in the murder of Edward Quartermaine's mistress, Beatrice.

Read about the Barrington family, as well as Rafe, Caleb, and Livvie here.

CHRISTOPHER GOUTMAN JOINS AMC AS DIRECTOR
AMC Begins Taping — Can They Pull It Together In Time?
UNCENSORED hinted weeks ago that a show killer was joining the AMC reboot — and now we can confirm that former AS THE WORLD TURNS executive producer Christopher Goutman will be directing Pine Valley.

Tomorrow, AMC begins shooting at 300 Stillwater Avenue in Stamford, Connecticut. How big is the studio?

Here are the specs: 155,000 sq ft building on eight acres with a soundstage that is approximately 27,500 sq. ft. with a 20-foot high ceiling.

You can visit the studio's website here:

http://www.ctfilmcenter.com/connecticut-
film-facilities.shtml

There are two CFC Facilities in Stamford. The studios are at the main Stamford location (NOT Stamford West).

According to my Prospect Park moles, AMC will be having a photo shoot this Wednesday that may even involve Agnes Nixon.

On March 11, look for fans to take a field trip out to the studio to celebrate ONE LIFE's first tape date!

ALL MY CHILDREN, The Online Network — Eden Riegel To Guest Star!
• The Queen of Daytime Susan Lucci has agreed to appear on at least one episode of the new and improved AMC. Lucci will appear Monday on THE VIEW so who knows what she'll reveal. The Emmy winner will be on the bitchy chatfest to discuss her two TV projects, DEVIOUS MAIDS and DEADLY AFFAIRS.

Speaking of La Lucci, her daughter, soap vet Liza Huber, gave birth to baby number 4! Yep, baby number 4! What did Susan ever do to you, Liza, to make her a grandmother four times over?! Oh, I kid. Those are some fertile Luccis.

Nothing imaginary about this: Lucci's other daughter, Eden Riegel, is back on AMC, too, for a guest-star arc, reported DEADLINE. Riegel confirmed the news, tweeting, "Thank you all for the outpouring of support today. I am thrilled to be returning as Bianca!" It'll be weird seeing Riegel playing Mom to a SORAS'd Bianca but it'll be fab seeing the real Binks back in action!

• DIGEST is reporting that Daytime Emmy-nominated actress Jennifer Bassey is a part of the AMC reboot. Makes sense since David Canary and Julia Barr are back as well. Also, Ray McDonnell will reprise his role as well, reports THE SOAP SOCIALITE.

*****I had to censor a couple of words here.*****

GENERAL HOSPITAL, CITYTV /ABC — Love Don't Live Here Anymore!
• Konnie Is The New Tarty: Mental Health advocates really need to get on GH's ass for poorly depicting mental illness and DID in its narrative. Thanks to Sonny's magic ---, Kate has gained control of her psyche and body only to learn that her son, Trey, is dead and that her alter, Connie, has been running amuck in Port Charles. Since Maurice Bernard is a spokesperson for manic depression, I can't believe he'd stand for his mobster character, however despicable, to ---- these two alters like Falconeri is just a vessel. Sonny's just gross. And so is this storyline. Even if we had a suitable and capable actress in the role of Kate and Connie, this story would still read offensive, insulting and just plain disgusting. Remember, Ron Carlivati, this is a woman's medium!

• Robin Mattson is the perfect host. Just ask the cray-cray taking residence in her talent. In story 411, Heather returns back from the dead with a butcher knife… and she stabs… nice knowing you Steven Larzzz. Our livers thank you. "It's a very bloody week," previews Lisa LoCicero in this week's DIGEST. "But there's a little life left in [Steve]." Was there any life in Steve to begin with, Lisa?

• Fans missing Erin Hershey Presley will be happy to learn that Alison will return this week to GH as an apparition on Feb. 27 in scenes with Lucy and Rafe.

• Will Jack Wagner "sang" at the Nurses' Ball? The actor-signer told DIGEST that it's a possibility — especially if the show's makeup artist has anything to say about it. "I went up to Frank [Valentini, executive producer] and said, `I think I'm supposed to sing. Donna said so.' We are talking about it and it might be something that works out. I think the fans would like to see it and I think it would be a great way to honor the 50th — especially given that my musical career is all because of GH." Just don't ask John Stamos to play drums, Jack.

• Did you know that Lynn Herring came thisclose to being cast as Kelly Capwell on SANTA BARBARA? Yep, it was between the future GH star and Robin Wright! Herring tells DIGEST, "I remember the producer say, `I think we need another blonde,' and that was that. My heart was broken." Make sure you buy DIGEST for the rest of the informative and fun interview!

• We need Jonathan Jackson back to make GH's 50th anniversary complete.

ONE LIFE TO LIVE, The Online Network — Why Gigi Won't Be Coming Back to Llanview!
• Quest for Destiny: Shenell Edmonds took to Facebook to reveal that ONE LIFE asked her to reprise the role of Destiny, which now has been reportedly recast with Laura Harrier, or says the unreliable web site SOAP OPERA NETWORK.

The NAACP Image Award-nominated ingénue wrote:

"Many of you have asked me about the Prospect Park reboot of OLTL online so here goes I am very excited about the return of OLTL as many of you are. Obviously I can't give specifics but I will tell you that I was invited to join the cast. Unfortunately, they were unable to accommodate my school schedule therefore, I had to politely decline. My heartfelt thanks to all of you for rooting for my return and your continuous support. OLTL will always be dear to my heart and hey, you never know, soaps may return into my life at another time.
Lots of love, Shenell"

What about Rex and Gigi? Farah Fath tells UNCENSORED she was not asked to reprise her polarizing role as Gigi because John–Paul Lavoisier turned down the gig as Rex so there was no point in bringing back Gigi.

Casting Coach
TREVOR ST. JOHN IS YOUNG… AND RESTLESS!
• His post-soap career is skyrocketing since he left ONE LIFE, but I would kill for Y&R to cast Trevor St. John, one of the most unbelievably talented actors this business has ever given birth to, as Avery's ex-husband. Of course it would be a short-term gig and St. John can easily play a psycho trying to reclaim his wife from Nick and Dylan. Imagine the fireworks between St. John and Michelle Stafford!

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Are viewers finally going to learn about Sam's real biological father? It may be in the stars when Sam is kidnapped by Caleb or is it Stephen, and Anna tells Alexis what has happened to her daughter. Poor Alexis strong of the strong looses it and starts to talk about how she missed Sam's childhood and wishes she had been around. Anna begins to asks Alexis about the man who is Sam's father and what happened to him. Does Alexis know where he is and will she talk or is she is the dark as well?....Anna may decide to make a change in her life and quit the PCPD as commissioner, but if she does who would be qualified to take over?.....Many PC fans were more then thrilled to see Erin Hersey Presley return but wanted more then 2 days. I must say Presley has not changed one bit in the last 10 years she is still as beautiful as ever. But not to worry PC fans Alison is returning for a few more days when she appears in Rafe's dreams to help him......Think you have seen the last of Heather Webber? Not a chance, if she can survive a 30 ft fall from a building what makes you think a little water would bring her down. Olivia is horrified to find a threatening Heather waiting for her in her home. This crazy bitch is not done yet, Rafe needs to watch his back .....Roger Howarth has left the building (for the time being) but he was able to tape Todd's trial which begins the week of March 4th.......A mystery person watches Michael and Starr, any ideas who that might be?..... So Caleb Morley is really Stephen Clay who has gone mad and kidnapped Sam who he thinks is Livvie. While I absolutely love this storyline I am sadden for those who did not tune in to the now defunct Port Charles. If you can go back and watch this show everything that is going on now on GH will make sense and you will wish the show was still on the air. It was way ahead of its time and way ahead of "The Vampire Diaries" and "Twilight" which both are HUGE hits today, Damn you Brian Frons!!!!

Susan Lucci, David Canary to be part of AMC reboot
by Dan J Kroll
Posted Monday, February 11, 2013 3:53:55 PM

Susan Lucci and David Canary will be part of All My Children's Internet relaunch, but the two Emmy winners will have very different levels of involvement. Lucci is an original AMC cast member, and Canary joined the soap in 1983.
Emmy winners Susan Lucci (Erica Kane) and David Canary (Adam and Stuart Chandler) will be part of All My Children's reboot, soapcentral.com has learned.

A source tells soapcentral.com that Lucci has so far agreed to appear in one episode of the AMC relaunch. There could be more down the line, but for now, scheduling is an issue.

"Susan is busy with Devious Maids," the source says, referring to the Marc Cherry primetime series being developed for Lifetime. "Right now the production schedules don't quite mesh."

In addition to Devious Maids, Lucci is also host of Deadly Affairs, a fact-is-stranger-than-fiction reality series on the ID cable channel.

On February 10, Lucci reunited with some of her former All My Children co-stars at a launch party for Ricky Paull Goldin's (Jake Martin) new HGTV series, Spontaneous Construction.

Lucci told soapcentral.com that she is "very excited for the fans" of All My Children and hopes the show's Internet relaunch will be a success.

Lucci, an original All My Children cast member, appeared on the show for its entire 41-year run on ABC.

Meanwhile, Soaps In Depth reports that Canary "will be seen on an ongoing basis" on All My Children.

In January, Prospect Park confirmed a handful of stars for the show's relaunch. Lindsay Hartley (Cara Castillo), Vincent Irizarry (David Hayward), Thorsten Kaye (Zach Slater), Jill Larson (Opal Cortlandt), Debbi Morgan (Angie Hubbard), Jordi Vilasuso (Griffin Castillo), and Darnell Williams (Jesse Hubbard) have all signed on with the series.

Additionally, Cady McClain (Dixie Martin) said last week that she was "confident" that she'd be part of AMC's Internet life.

Prospect Park could not be reached for comment on Lucci and Canary's involvement.

Michael E Knight: Can't do AMC reboot right now
by Dan J Kroll
Posted Monday, February 11, 2013 3:53:55 PM

Three-time Emmy winner Michael E Knight will not be a part of All My Children's initial relaunch. In a newly published interview, the actor reveals that the timing isn't quite right -- but that he could return in the near future.
The Martin family will be front and center when All My Children returns this spring, but the show's relaunch will have to start without fan favorite Michael E Knight (Tad Martin). The actor isn't ruling out a return at some point, but, as they say, timing is everything.

"I'm blessed, personally, that the Martins are going to be represented. With me, personally, it was simply an issue of timing, period," Knight told Soap Opera Digest in an exclusive interview. "I consider [Executive Producer] Ginger Smith to be, actually, one of my oldest and dearest friends, in that industry and in life. And I had asked her for patience with me because as I like to put it, I didn't say no, I just said, 'I can't do it right now.'"

As previously reported, Jill Larson (Opal Cortlandt) has already signed on for the relaunch of All My Children, and Cady McClain (Dixie Martin) has indicated that she is "confident" that she'll be a part of the show's Internet incarnation.

There are also unconfirmed reports that Ray MacDonnell (Joe Martin) may also take part in All My Children's return.

Knight also took time to thank fans for their enduring support and offered some hopeful words that they might soon seen him again in his iconic, Emmy-winning role.

"I love the fact that the interest is there and I firmly believe Tad is going to be walking through Pine Valley in short order at some point," Knight added.

Knight debuted on All My Children in 1982. Though he made a couple of short-term exits from the show, the actor was a prominent fixture on the show through its network television finale in September 2011.

Knight earned three Daytime Emmys during his time on All My Children. In 1986 and 1987, he picked up back-to-back wins in the Outstanding Younger Leading Man (now Outstanding Younger Actor) category. In 2001, Knight was named Outstanding Supporting Actor.

Prospect Park announces actors signed for AMC reboot
by Dan J Kroll

Prospect Park has announced the names of the first group of actors who have signed on to appear in the company's planned relaunch of All My Children.
Prospect Park has confirmed that it has reached deals with actors for its relaunch of All My Children -- and the presence of long-time favorites should please fans.

Lindsay Hartley (Cara Castillo), Vincent Irizarry (David Hayward), Thorsten Kaye (Zach Slater), Jill Larson (Opal Cortlandt), Debbi Morgan (Angie Hubbard), Jordi Vilasuso (Griffin Castillo), and Darnell Williams (Jesse Hubbard) have all been confirmed to be part of AMC when it returns this spring.

Irizarry and Morgan broke the news of their returns to fans on social media well in advance of Prospect Park's announcement.

This is not a finalized list, and Prospect Park is currently in talks with additional stars. Fans can expect even more updates in the weeks ahead.

Prospect Park confirms stars signed for OLTL relaunch
by Dan J Kroll
Posted Tuesday, January 22, 2013 4:15:42 PM

Prospect Park has announced the names of a dozen stars who have signed on for its relaunch of One Life to Live.
Prospect Park has confirmed that it has reached deals with even more actors for its relaunch of One Life to Live -- and fans of the series are sure to be pleased. A dozen of the show's stars will be returning in contract roles.

Included for the relaunch are Erika Slezak (Victoria Lord Buchanan), Robin Strasser (Dorian Lord), Tuc Watkins (David Vickers), Robert S. Woods (Bo Buchanan), Kassie DePaiva (Blair Cramer), Jerry ver Dorn (Clint Buchanan), Florencia Lozano (Téa Delgado), Melissa Archer (Natalie Buchanan Banks), Hillary B. Smith (Nora Buchanan), Kelley Missal (Danielle Manning), Josh Kelly (Cutter Wentworth), and Andrew Trischitta (Jack Manning)

Also returning, but on a recurring basis, are Sean Ringgold (Shaun Evans), Shenaz Treasury (Rama Patel), and Nick Choksi (Vimal Patel).

This is not a finalized list, and Prospect Park is currently in talks with additional stars. Fans can expect even more updates in the weeks ahead.

Of note, nearly every performer signing on with Prospect Park had also agreed to be part of the planned 2012 relaunch that failed to materialize. Only Michael Easton (John McBain), Shenell Edmonds (Destiny Evans), and Ted King (Tomas Delgado)'s names aren't on this year's list. Easton is currently under contract to ABC's General Hospital, and his character -- and two others -- may or may not return to Llanview at some point. A casting call has already gone out for Edmond's alter ego, Destiny Evans. It appears the show is looking to move in a new direction with the character. There has been no news on King's possible reprisal, but the actor's name has also been bandided about possibly returning to General Hospital.

Legal issues force Michael Easton off GH
by Dan J Kroll
Posted Friday, February 01, 2013 2:34:07 AM

Michael Easton will be exiting General Hospital, and it is unclear when the actor will return. Legal issues over the rights to the character of John McBain, Starr Manning, and Todd Manning have the status of GH's One Life to Live transplants in doubt.
In a message on his official Facebook page, Michael Easton (John McBain) informed fans planning a birthday surprise that they'd have to hold off on the cake delivery. Easton won't be around at General Hospital.

"I heard a rumor of some lovely people who were going to stop by the studio for a certain riff raff's birthday. Some others who wanted to deliver a cake. Even more wonderful folks who wanted to send cards and treats and I want you to know I am incredibly humbled by these gestures but unfortunately I will not be around to enjoy them," Easton wrote. "I've been informed, that due to some ongoing legal this and that, I cannot be at General Hospital after February 8th, and since I know many of you go to great trouble to do something special, I just don't want to see anybody's efforts go to waste (especially the lovely person who always sneaks in the fine Irish Whiskey)."

The "this and that" that Easton refers to has to do with who owns the rights to the John McBain character -- as well as the two other One Life to Live transplants, Kristen Alderson (Starr Manning and Roger Howarth (Todd Manning).

When ABC licensed the rights to All My Children and One Life to Live to Prospect Park in 2011, ownership of all of the shows' characters transferred from ABC to Prospect Park. As it became clear that Prospect Park was not going to be able to relaunch the two soaps as planned, the company reached a deal to allow ABC to license several of the characters back to ABC for use on General Hospital.

Now that Prospect Park is ready to relaunch AMC and OLTL on the Internet, the company is reportedly demanding that John, Starr, and Todd, be handed over for use on One Live to Live. It is unclear exactly what will happen, since Easton, Kristen Alderson, and Roger Howarth are under contract to ABC, but Prospect Park now owns the rights to their characters.

Several scenarios could play out, according to sources. The three performers in question could return briefly to One Life to Live to help the series launch before returning to General Hospital. Alderson, Easton, and Howarth could remain at ABC, but all three would have to be shifted into different roles. Prospect Park could reclaim the three OLTL characters and recast them, if none of the actors were available or willing to return. Prospect Park could reconsider and allow some or all of the characters to remain on General Hospital.

Presumably, ABC and Prospect Park both understand the value that the actors and the characters bring to each other's properties, and working together to come up with a mutually beneficial arrangement would be in everyone's best interest.

"Honestly not sure what the future holds but I think it's going to take some time and some very bright people to resolve it," Easton added. "Thank you again for all your kindness and support..."

Easton made his first General Hospital appearance as John on March 13, 2012. He created the role of John McBain on One Life to Live on October 1, 2003.

For the time being, there is at least one bright side in all of this. Easton has asked fans who might have otherwise sent gifts to the General Hospital studio to consider making a donation to the American Cancer Society.

Roger Howarth to return for One Life to Live relaunch
by Dan J Kroll
Posted Thursday, February 14, 2013 4:17:42 PM

Roger Howarth's Todd Manning is headed home to Llanview -- at least for a little while. The Emmy-winning actor first appeared as Todd in 1992, and has been playing Todd on General Hospital for the past year.
Another Llanview favorite is headed home. Emmy winner Roger Howarth (Todd Manning) will reprise his alter ego for One Life to Live's Internet relaunch.

Howarth's return, however, won't be permanent. The actor will appear on One Life to Live for about a month before heading back to General Hospital, according to the actor's representative. Initial published reports mistakenly stated that the actor would be returning to One Life to Live on a full-time basis.

Since One Life to Live's cancellation, Howarth has been keeping Todd Manning alive on ABC's sole remaining soap, General Hospital, thanks to a licensing agreement between ABC and Prospect Park. Prospect Park obtained the rights to One Life to Live and All My Children in 2011. When the company failed in its first attempt to transition the two soaps to the Internet, Prospect Park licensed the rights to Todd, Starr Manning, and John McBain back to ABC.

Things took a complicated twist when Prospect Park announced it was resurrecting its plans to bring back One Life to Live and All My Children. The actors moved from One Life to Live to General Hospital are now under contract to ABC, but the characters they play are owned by Prospect Park.

Confused? We've got a more thorough explanation of the dispute here.

There is no word yet on whether or not Kristen Alderson (Starr Manning) and Michael Easton (John McBain) will also be headed back to One Life to Live. It is also unclear at this time if Howarth will make additional appearances on One Life to Live in the future.

Roger Howarth originated the role of Todd Manning in December 1992. He remained with One Life to Live, off and on, through 2003. For the following seven years, Howarth played the role of Paul Ryan on As the World Turns. Howarth returned to One Life to Live in 2011. Howarth won the Outstanding Younger Actor Emmy in 1994, and has received three additional Daytime Emmy nominations.

Requests to ABC and Prospect Park for a statement were not available at post time.

AMC, OLTL to be broadcast online via Hulu and iTunes
by Dan J Kroll
Posted Friday, February 01, 2013 11:56:32 PM

Prospect Park has announced that All My Children and One Life to Live will be available digitally on Hulu and iTunes. Two of three viewing options will have costs associated, but a third will make sure fans can view both soaps for free.
Ever since All My Children and One Life to Live's planned relaunch was leaked in December, fans have been wonderinghow they'd be able to reconnect with their friends in Pine Valley and Llanview. Where would fans need to go in order to tune in? Would the episodes be free? Would any special equipment be required? Many of the questions have now been answered.

Prospect Park has announced that episodes of both All My Children and One Life to Live will be distributed via the Hulu, Hulu Plus, and iTunes services.

"I believe that both Hulu and iTunes have the vision, the reach and the technology to help us launch TOLN in a significant way,” Prospect Park Chairman and CEO, Jeff Kwatinetz said. "We think these platforms are part of history, helping us to transform distribution. Hulu’s reach, platform and advertising prowess are best in class, and iTunes provides an incredible way to buy TV shows that is second to none. Through both of these partners, we hope daytime drama fans are absolutely delighted to be able to watch their favorite programs in a broadcast-quality HD format wherever and whenever they want."

New 30-minute episodes of All My Children and One Life to Live will be introduced each weekday. Prospect Park plans "to blend new themes, fresh stars, and youthful energy with the familiar actors and writers who made these shows must-watch afternoon viewing for legions of loyal fans."

Hulu's basic service is free. Programming is broadcast with commercials. The Hulu Plus service is a subscription service that allows viewers acess to the unlimited streaming of hundres of programs on a variety of platforms for monthly subscription fee, currently priced at $7.99 per month.

Apple's iTunes service is a free download. Users can download music, movies, podcasts, and television episodes at an additional cost. Many of the downloads, including soapcentral.com's all-things-soap podcast Soap Central Live, can be downloaded for free.

In related news, Prospect Park has closed its financing deal with ABRY Partners, a media-focused private equity investment firm.

Brent Stone, a partner at ABRY Partners, stated, “We are excited to be partnering with Jeff Kwatinetz and the rest of the team at Prospect Park, and we strongly believe that they will continue to be a leader in their innovative approach to content creation.”

Kwatinetz continued, "We are privileged to the have the backing and partnership with Brent and his team at ABRY, who are proven, brilliant investors, and will help us reach our ultimate goals."

Jackie Zeman headed back to General Hospital
by Dan J Kroll
Posted Wednesday, February 06, 2013 1:10:52 PM

Another General Hospital favorite is headed back to the screen. Jackie Zeman, who created the role of Bobbie Spencer in 1977, has confirmed that she's been asked back to the show. Zeman was last seen on-screen in 2010.
For many months, fans have been wondering why Nurse Bobbie Spencer hasn't been seen in the corridors of General Hospital. Now, nearly three years after her last appearance, Jackie Zeman (Barbara Jean "Bobbie" Spencer) is returning to General Hospital.

"Bobbie Spencer is coming back to GH," Zeman beamed on Twitter. "Am so happy to be invited. TY for all your positive thoughts + support."

"[Thank you] for inviting me back. I'm looking forward to working with you," Zeman said in a subsequent message to the show's executive producer, Frank Valentini.

Zeman also noted that she is "very excited and looking forward to being included" in head writer Ron Carlivati's story.

In a March 2012 appearance on Soap Central Live, Zeman hinted that she and Valentini had been in touch about a possible return, with Zeman indicating that it was just a matter of finding the right story to warrant her alter ego's return.

"It makes me feel really happy that people still think of Bobbie as such a part of General Hospital. I just… because I love the show, I was on the show my whole adult life, and I miss it," Zeman said in a March 2012 appearance on Soap Central Live. "I'm excited that they're going where they're going and they're doing what they're doing. So I don't know -- it would be fun to come back. They haven't invited me yet. I did talk with Frank Valentini on the phone, and he said, 'Let's see if there's some story. Let me talk to Ron, and if Bobbie were to come back, it would be because there's some story.' So, you know, hopefully, if they put their heads together, they could come up with something that would be fitting, appropriate, and would be out there. And if that happens, I'll be absolutely thrilled, because I can think of nothing better than to get in the car and drive over and be on GH! It would be fabulous!"

Zeman created the role of Bobbie in December 1977. The actress remained with the show for 30 years before she was taken off contract. Zeman made sporadic appearances from 2007 through 2010, before the character simply disappeared.

Zeman will first air on March 21.

Doppelgangers and other shenanigans

For the Week of February 11, 2013

Why are there two McBains, and why is one of them a vampire? Have the GH writers gone mad, or is there genius in the otherworldly storylines? Take a peek behind the curtain in this week's Two Scoops.
Have an opinion on General Hospital? We'd like to hear from you! Call our new 24/7 caller feedback hotline at 267.341.7627 and record your thoughts on GH. Who is your favorite couple? What character drives you crazy? What storylines are hot (or not)? Or ask us a question! Your comments may be aired during an upcoming episode of Soap Central Live.

So, you have your John McBain, and you have your Caleb Morley. The way you can tell them apart is that Caleb has hair extensions, a flatiron, and a giant Vampire Super Bowl ring. I haven't seen fangs yet, but I think we all know they are coming.

Many of you have asked me "Why are they doing a stupid vampire storyline?" and there are actual answers to that question.

One is legal; Prospect Park bought One Live to Live and all of its characters when OLTL first went off the air. When they didn't immediately do anything with OLTL and didn't relaunch it online as originally promised, it wasn't hurting anyone to have Todd and Starr Manning and John McBain relocate to Port Charles. However, now that PP has resumed its plan to resurrect AMC and OLTL, it wants its characters back. ABC is legally required to relinquish use of those characters back to Prospect Park. (To get all the details on this, click here.)

So, this leaves the actors in a bind. They can either stay at GH as a character that doesn't legally belong to OLTL, or leave GH and go back to OLTL as the character they are currently playing. This storyline strategy opens up the possibilities for the actors to make a choice.

The next reason is probably just because it's fun to give a nod to GH's sister show, Port Charles, and to honor that history for viewers of both shows. Sure, the vampire thing is a little kooky and totally camp, but seriously, that's one of my favorite things about soaps. The day Faison's "Duke Lavery" mask melted off his face made me squeal with delight. It was a ridiculous storyline and I loved every single second of it!

So, which would you prefer, dear readers? To lose Todd, Starr, and McBain from the GH canvas, or to keep the actors in alternate roles? I'd love to hear your feedback!

Soaps find ratings success in two ways: a well-crafted story and beloved actors. The return of Jack Wagner this week as Frisco Jones was so welcome and wonderful. There is so much storyline to explore -- I want to see Frisco and Maxie find their way to healing. I want Maxie to yell at him, to say, "I have issues with men because you abandoned me." Or "While you were out protecting the world as a spy, my sister was murdered." I want those big, passionate scenes, and I hope they are coming and that Frisco's return isn't merely stunt casting.

That being said, I want Mac and Felicia to stay together in spite of Frisco's return. Mac deserves a happy romantic ending, he was left holding the bag for those two flakes and raising their kids for years, so he better get to keep Felicia for all his trouble.

Another return is on the horizon this week as Genie Francis is set to return as Laura Spencer. Last we saw Laura, she was off to France to receive "treatment" and was never heard from again.

This is a big deal to me. Laura is the reason I got hooked on GH. I started watching back in the 70's (yes, I am that old), and Laura and I were about the same age. I was mesmerized by all her adventures and romances. I remember Luke raping her, and I confess I felt as sorry for Luke as I did for Laura because I knew he wasn't a monster, but a desperate person who did a desperate things -- and both Laura and viewers forgave Luke's actions enough to accept their eventual marriage. At the time it was the most watched event on TV.

I don't care how good Luke might be with Tracy or Anna or any other lover he has had. I want Luke with Laura. I know a lot of people will disagree vehemently with me on that, but I think there are people who belong together. There are people who fit, who make each other better, whose love affair makes sense to no one but each other.

On paper, Luke and Laura shouldn't work, but when they are together -- it's magic. You can't explain it, or list 20 reasons why it is true, it just is. There is an "Us" with Luke and Laura. The two of them together become something when they are together that they are not when they are apart. Sure, they could both have successful relationships with other people, but why? When you've found the person who makes you become the best version of yourself, to look further would be sheer insanity.

Will the writers put them together? Possibly, but probably not right away. I tend to think they will make the devoted Luke and Laura fans sweat it out for a while. Are there those who think Luke is better with Tracy? Yes, but they are wrong. With Tracy, he does what he wants, makes excuses, and apologies until she forgives him. With Laura, he softens and becomes a better man in order to be worthy of her.

If you disagree with me, please write and tell me why I am wrong. Give it your best shot to persuade me to change my mind. But it would take a miracle.

Readers, I must confess something to you. I am also rooting for Sonny and Connie, and I did not expect to root for them. I was a huge fan of Megan Ward's, and I was determined to never like Kelly Sullivan out of loyalty. And in truth, I never liked Kelly as Kate, not one day. However, I really love Kelly as Connie Falconeri.

Is Connie the alternate personality, or is Kate? Only her DID doctor knows for sure. But when Connie came to court this week to drop the charges against Kristina, I saw this look in Sonny's eyes I haven't seen for a long time, and I melted a little. I think he kind of likes Connie a little, although he's still in love with Kate. It's like a three-way but with just two people!

One three-way that has ended is the Britt/Patrick/Sabrina triangle because evil Dr. Westbourne finally got busted. I have longed for the day that would happen.

And being the mature rational professional doctor that she is, Britt immediately started throwing things around the exam room and blackmailing people. I think we know how this will play out. Maxie will go along with Britt to cover up her lies about the baby, then eventually will have an attack of conscience and confess. This will probably involve the adorable Emma, because doing things to upset a little girl who lost her mommy will be more than Maxie can bear. I think Britt needs to find some 50 Shades of Gray boyfriend to tame her into submission.

The great comedy of the week was the wacky trio of Lucy the Vampire Slayer, Heather "Crazy Calling" Webber, and Todd "Scarface" Manning busting out of Ferncliff together. It's been a long time since we had three crazies on at once. What great chemistry and comedy in those scenes. Robin Mattson's Heather is the funniest villain ever, and one of the slickest. She's the kind of crazy person who most frightens society because she can appear perfectly normal in small bursts. When Heather explained to Kevin Collins about the hospital workers' strike, I almost believed her myself.

What will happen tomorrow, dear readers? Will Rafe steal Molly from T.J. with tricks he has learned from his vampire daddy? Will Michael and Starr convince ELQ to buy stock in Reddi Whip? Will Caleb bite Olivia and put her out of her LSD-induced misery? (Please, I beg you.) Will Alice get fired for serving guests the ghetto combination of Ritz Crackers and Pickle-Lila Relish for afternoon tea? Will Carly run off with Todd and accidentally discover the curiously missing Morgan?

Only tomorrow knows, dear readers, and I will tune in as long as there are tomorrows.

Another Old-Timer to Return to 'GH'
Friday February 15, 2013

And this is as close to being an original old-timer as you're going to get!

Rachel Ames (Audrey Hardy) has been revealed as a returnee by none other than Genie Francis on Katie.

Ames, 83, made her first film appearance in the 1951 film When Worlds Collide, (which starred Carolyn Hennesy's (Diane Miller) aunt, Barbara Rush). She joined the cast of General Hospital less than a year after it began, and became the wife of Dr. Steve Hardy (John Beradino), then the star of the show.

Audrey is the "Gram" referred to by Elizabeth Webber, as Steve Hardy actually fathered Jeff Webber, Elizabeth's dad.

Ames retired in 2009. Fans may recall how fantastic she always looked, and that she participated in the Nurses' Ball doing high kicks to the song "One."

It will be great to see her again.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Are we any closer to finding out what is happening between PP and ABC. Laura Wright tweeted that Todd is coming back. The latest word that is circulating is "Crossovers". Looks like PP is the front runner is these crazy negotiations. ABCD opposed creating new characters for said actors. GH obeyed TPTB and are exiting the characters back to Llanview. This will establish a framework for crossovers which PP is very happy about because this will lure GH viewers to follow what transpires to these characters in Llanview and establish promotional benefits for PP. The GH writing staff is not to thrilled because this will entail consulting with the PP writers on exits, story progress and returns. The minute the door is open for all of this to happen the word is do not expect it will be a one-time event nor limited to the three actors in question. All that is left is for the lawyers to work out the legal details and hash out the least objectionable deal for their respective side. Whether fans of either GH and OLTL will be totally satisfied remains to be seen.....

A visitor gives Lulu something connected to The Ice Princess, Lulu assumes the gift is from Dante, but it's not. Luke and Laura see it and it causes insensitive memories of days gone by. It is being hinted that this gift will come from Helena. I hear we will see Helena return as well as Faison and a resurrected Cassadine. Possible Nikolas and yes Robert will eventually come out of his coma. Now I want to be clear on one thing, just because we are moving in the direction of "The Ice Princess" you have to realize this will not be the same storyline. This is a revisit which means exploring history in more detail. Old events and secrets and their consequences will effect present day. The younger generation will be impacted by this decades of old feuds and they don't even realize yet, remember.....this is very important!.......

Caleb claims his next victim, and it's the end of Steven Webber when he tries to save Sabrina from the hands of the Vampire King. Steven comes to Sabrina's aid and is killed by Caleb who is trying to kill Sabrina and Steve will die a hero. And to add more to Caleb's madness he kidnaps Sam and when she wakes up she realizes that she's Caleb's prisoner. Caleb is determined to make Sam recall their past life together......

Will GH be celebrating on the View? Will GH do a primetime for the 50th? Will Katie Couric make her acting debut for the 50th?

KATE RESURFACES...IN SONNY'S BED! GENERAL HOSPITAL's Sonny wanted Kate back, and now he's got her! But the big news is not just that she has resurfaced. It's where she resurfaced — in his bed! That's right. He and Connie confess they have feelings for each other, kiss, and get "horizontal." Then he wakes up with Kate!
"Sonny knows that Connie's just a tough girl with a real soft inside," Maurice Benard (Sonny) says in the current ABC issue of Soaps In Depth. "He's seen her cry and show emotion. It's hard for him because he doesn't want to be a jerk, but he does have feelings for her, too."
The question is, how will Kate feel when she learns he slept with "the other woman"?

TEAM SPIXIE OR TEAM SPINELLI? What man wouldn't want to be in Spinelli's shoes? The GH computer genius has two women in love with him and neither are willing to give him up.
With the GH fan base split right down the middle as to which duo they're behind, not even the leading ladies involved in the storyline can decide! Emily Wilson (Ellie) tells Soaps In Depth that she and Kirsten Storms (Maxie) are so engrossed in their story that they root for each other! Why? Because neither lovestruck lady is playing dirty.
"What I've loved about Ellie is that there hasn't been anything done on her part that's been manipulative or shady," Wilson says. "I don't know what the writers have in store, but I truly hope they keep her genuine. A lot of people are like, 'Oh, just you wait! Is she really evil? Is she going to mess with the baby?' I tell them, 'I hope not!'"

STEVE BURTON OPENS UP! Since announcing his departure from GH last September, Steve Burton (ex-Jason) fans were hoping — some even assuming — that he'd one day return. Maybe he just needed a break after playing the same character for 21 years, they thought. But after relocating his family to Nashville, Burton instead decided to embark on a whole new career adventure on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS.
"I had a little bit of the jitters on my first day," he admits candidly in the current ABC issue of Soaps In Depth. "It was just weird going to a new place to work."
Burton opens up about how he landed the Y&R gig, why he jumped at the chance, how his Port Charles family reacted and how he'd handle it if Jason was recast.

IT'S CHAOS! The lunatics have escaped the asylum! Well, not all of them. Just GENERAL HOSPITAL's Heather, Todd and Lucy.
Heather is the mastermind behind the plan to hightail it outta Ferncliff that results in Todd fleeing Port Charles to avoid further time in the funny farm and Lucy vowing to prevent Caleb from claiming yet another victim. Lucy's efforts, unfortunately, are too late, because the killer strikes again! Will McBain's resemblance to the blood-sucking Caleb prove to be a deadly and inconvenient coincidence?
Will someone turn Todd in to the cops? Will Heather brew a pitcher of her "special" iced tea and serve it up to an unsuspecting murderer?

GETTING PERSONAL! When it comes to evil twins, not many match up to what Jon Lindstrom pulled off in the early '90s as GH's mentally unstable pediatrician, Ryan Chamberlain, and his mentally unstable psychiatrist brother, Dr. Kevin Collins. One was troubled; the other, just plain trouble!
"He went up in a ball of fire at a carnival, as I recall," Lindstrom says of Ryan's epic demise. "We never confirmed that he was dead; we just assumed it. Would I welcome him back if it turns out he wasn't dead? I certainly would!"
In the current ABC issue of Soaps In Depth, Lindstrom reflects on Kevin's topsy-turvy past, the joy of being back in Port Charles and the thrill of being in love with his soon-to-be wife, ALL MY CHILDREN'S Cady McClain (Dixie).

Digest Exclusive: Jacklyn Zeman Returns To GH!
By SOD • Posted: Feb 6, 2013

Jacklyn Zeman, who originated the role of Bobbie in 1977 and was last seen in Port Charles in 2010, is returning on March 21. "I am so pleased," Zeman beams. "Literally, every day I am getting stopped on the street: 'Are you coming back?' It's a complicated question to answer because I always want to be positive and support the show, but at the same time, you don't want to lead people [on]. So I would say, 'Well, I haven't been invited yet.' Now, I'm so happy that when people ask me, I can say, 'I got invited back!' " Zeman got her first hint of a possible comeback from her manager, Michael Bruno. "He called me like a week ago and said, 'I think they are going to give you some dates, but nothing's firm.' I've learned over the years, until you have a booking date and you're in a script, people can talk all they want, but you're not on TV [laughs]. Then yesterday he called with, 'Okay, we have three shows with firm dates for you!' It was a complete shock that I had firm shows booked. I knew the 50th [anniversary] was coming up. And I thought, 'Maybe there's going to be something there, because it seems in everybody else's minds that it seems like a perfectly natural thing." John Stamos At GENERAL HOSPITAL

Kelly Thiebaud is Put on Contract
Monday February 4, 2013

Kelly Thiebaud, who plays the nasty and horrible Dr. Britt Westbourne has been put on contract by General Hospital.

Britt is definitely the woman we love to hate, and she's heading for a big fall, I think, dealing with Maxie, Sabrina, and perhaps Robin!

Actress Thiebaud deserves applause for convincing audiences of Britt's nastiness. And I guess we'll be seeing her be nasty for some time to come.

The Latest on OLTL Actors - It's All Rumors
Saturday February 2, 2013

Well, the rumors are flying all over the Internet about the fate of the OLTL actors who are now on General Hospital. If you take a look at the twitters, you'll notice that none of them are from the actors or Carlivati.

The latest is this: Prospect Park issued a statement saying they are willing to "share" the characters:

..."We continue to be willing to equally share the characters with 'General Hospital' and ABC. It's a win-win for the actors, the shows and fans, who love all of the shows and storylines. We hope to work out these agreements with ABC and the actors."

General Hospital says they "are trying to work things out," to paraphrase. This is no different from what they have been saying all along.

Here is what I think but don't take it to the bank: Prospect Park wants these characters back, and if possible, they want the actors. The actors don't want to go, the actors don't have to go. So someone at General Hospital got the idea, wait, why don't we just offer these actors other parts with new names?

When Prospect Park heard this, they panicked. Now they're releasing statements that they want to "share" these characters. Prospect Park thinks it can go up against ABC. I don't think so.

If they want to share, something tells me they'll have to "share" the characters with different actors which will be ridiculous. The characters will have a storyline on the new show and a storyline on GH. Stupid. Won't work.

The best solution - let GH keep these characters.

By the way, NOWHERE is Roger Howarth's name mentioned in any of these so-called articles or releases.

We don't know anything. I don't care what any tweet or other site says, we don't know anything yet.

GH to Revisit Logan Hayes Death
Friday February 8, 2013

Kim Shriner (Scott Baldwin) tells TV Guide's Mike Logan that the death of his son Logan Hayes' death at Lulu's hands will be part of his story arc when he returns to General Hospital.

You may recall that Scott, who was last seen on GH in 2008, did not win his case against Lulu. So perhaps there is unfinished business.

The actor also states that he hopes that Richard Dean Anderson (ex-Jeff Webber) returns and thinks that John Stamos (ex-Blackie Parrish) just might.

And Scott will be running into Luke.

Remembering Logan Hayes
Monday February 11, 2013

Since the Logan Hayes case may be mentioned when Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) returns, here is a recap of what went on during those crazy days in 2009.

And let's not forget that when Johnny and Lulu went on the run, Logan's ghost appeared to Lulu. It wasn't like Alan's ghost. This one walked and looked like a zombie.

Read Logan's story here.

Michael Easton: Back to a Dual Role
Thursday February 7, 2013

Anyone remember the TV show Two? It ran on the CTV network for 22 episodes back in 1997-1998. The tagline was: "Good and evil have the same face."

The good face on that show was played by Michael Easton.

The bad face on that show was played by Michael Easton.

Now Michael Easton has another dual role, that of John McBain and Caleb Morley, who was a vampire on Port Charles.

So is this manifestation of Caleb a vampire or what? How come he didn't recoil at the sight of the cross Lucy held up? Can he see himself in the mirror? Can garlic keep him away?

Whatever Morley is, my guess is we could be seeing a lot more of him as John McBain has to be out of the picture soon if GH can't work anything out with Prospect Park so that the character of McBain can stay.

Easton says that he has to be out of the GH studio after February 8 (though scenes will air until some time in March). Whether this is still true, I don't know.

Gossip for the week of 11-Feb-2013

by Carol Banks Weber

It occurred to me that whenever Caleb's shown himself to Lucy, it's in a dream form. Could this pave the way for Michael Easton to do his own DID story? Is John McBain suffering from multiple personality disorder?

TPTB should ask Adrienne Barbeau (ex-Suzanne; Argo) back. After all, this actress-turned-author penned the 2010 "Love Bites… A Vampyres Of Hollywood" novel that depicts the blood-sucking and werewolf scene quite accurately, as if she were one of the creatures herself. Her love story within a horror movie humanizes and grounds the supernatural while bringing to the forefront a strong but vulnerable female hero juggling the hunt with a love affair. The well-received novel is available in ebook form now (and makes "Love In Maine" read like a Nancy Drew series).

John Stamos (ex-Blackie) visited the GH studio last week to visit with his pal Kin Shriner (Scotty). How long before he's asked to make a brief cameo?

A great many GH stars will make it back to the soap in time for the 50th anniversary in April, or even earlier, including possibly, maybe Stefan Cassadine, Nikolas Cassadine, Brenda Barrett, Robert Scorpio, Holly Sutton, Emily Bowen Quartermaine. Look for head writer Ron Carlivati to bring back the legendary Spencer v. Cassadine feud and that curse Helena put on Luke and Laura for starters, as well as a giant cross-promotional push, with the GH stars making TV appearances on The View.

Robin Scorpio Drake's story is on hiatus until her portrayer can make room in her directorial schedule for another return, maybe by March.

Livvie and Caleb will not survive after Sam and John get through with them. The two star-crossed vampire lovers from PC are just guest stars, returned as a nod to the 1990s spinoff, nothing more. This week, Sam's baby will go missing. Two guesses who has Danny.

Everything culminates in the April Nurses' Ball. But don't expect just hearts, flowers, and Lucy in her skivvies. The villains will drop in, causing mayhem, murder, and mass chaos, just as Jerry Jacks did for the March 2005 Metro Court massacre.

The hunt for the missing Quartermaine heir might turn up twins. –Happy New Years, Daytime Dish, January 31, 2013

Friends, my ass. Elizabeth and A.J. will go there. Laura catches the two of them in a liplock. According to Happy New Years, Elizabeth and Maxie may have another go around at each other, reviving their enemy status.

GH may very well survive its 50th anniversary showing in April to see another fall season. ABC Daytime is so impressed with the improvements overall, and all under budget, that it's okay with keeping its last soap around for the interminable future. "If ABC drops them mid 2014 PP is going to pick them right up. GH is about as safe as any soap can be into 2015. [Daytime Dish, anon drop, January 27, 2013]"

What does Tequan Richmond (T.J.; Everybody Hates Chris) think about the new boy in town wooing Molly away from his character? Hop on Twitter and ask. Me, I think it's foul they don't even develop this T.J. recast and his story more. Of course the Great White Hope will steal Golden Princess away.

Jon Lindstrom (Kevin) may feel looser with his current GH return, but fans are seeing another character entirely, Kevin's psycho brother Ryan. If rumors are correct, Lindstrom will soon play the twins in their entirety, just like Michael Easton will with Caleb and John.

GENERAL HOSPITAL, CITYTV /ABC — Who Isn't Coming Back To GH?
• Lauri Hogan, who? Laura Wright revealed on Twitter that the "Llanview 3," Michael Easton, Roger Howarth and Kristen Alderson, will be back in Port Charles "a few weeks." As previously reported, all actors had to vacate their Llanview roles by Feb. 8. Meanwhile, Easton posed a photo of John McBain's boots on his Facebook Page hinting he's had to hang them up for now. It is expected that all three actors will be tackling new roles in the future — with the exception of Easton, who is more than likely already reprising one of his two PORT CHARLES roles, Stephen Clay or Vampire Caleb.

• The 1980s are officially back; thanks, Cartini: In an interview with TV GUIDE, Kin Shriner admits that it's more than likely that John Stamos — and even Richard Dean Anderson — will be the next to guest star in time for GH's 50th anniversary. Shriner also teased that it looks like head writer Ron Carlivati will retcon his onscreen son's Logan's death.

• It's a miracle: After a two-year absence, Jackie Zeman will reprise her role as Bobbie in time for the 50th anniversary! Let's pray she looks normal this time around.

ALL MY CHILDREN, The Online Network — Whistlin' Dixie! Is Knight Next?
• The Jon Lindstrom-Cady McClain Household is one happily employed home: As predicted, Emmy-wining fan fave, La McClain, has agreed to appear on the AMC reboot. She said on her website:

Since word got out that AMC/PP contacted me, I thought it was best to wait a bit until I confirmed it out of respect for the fact I am still sorting out the details of the situation. I am very excited about the possibilities for the show in this medium and want to help give it every chance at success.

As you probably know by now, I am fascinated with all the many possibilities for creative expression that the Internet has to offer. I have a feeling the show will find many new opportunities for connecting with fans and I look forward to being a part of that as well.

I am also thrilled that Ginger Smith, who has worked on AMC for as long as I can remember, is finally getting the chance to helm the show. There are few people that know and love AMC as much as Ginger. I know for a fact she is doing everything in her power to make the show as wonderful for the long time fans as she possibly can.

It is expected that Michael E. Knight will soon announce he has also signed with AMC.

as I have said before this would get messy and it has....
.................................

GENERAL HOSPITAL: I want to mention that alot of the storylines are hinging on the problems between GH and OLTL characters. Laura Wright tweeted recently that the 3 OLTLers are coming back. Whether they are the same characters unknown at this time. I am hearing the lawyers for both parties are really jacking up the hours and are threatening to seek an injunction against GH that could violate their license regarding the characters histories. (Todd, John & Starr) And if this happens it means rewriting any OLTL related events this past year. RC wrote for OLTL characters this past year and it falls under PP's jurisdiction. PP lawyers are attempting to put a stop to RC negating what he wrote for the OLTL characters. Creating brand new characters negates the relationship investments of the past year. Therefore, an idea was floated to make them "imposters" all along. The names would only change. That idea was struck down by PP lawyers who maintained such a rewrite violates/infringes on their license agreement. Hopefully they will compromise and agree on crossovers and some story coordination. The bottom line is solely about how ABCD could bring the actors back without PP's interference, this is a far more complicated situation than three soap actors......If you want someone to blame ...DISNEY...they created this mess. ABCD objected to the PP extension. Then ABCD tried to obtain an extension to these OLTL characters for another year. Both times Disney blocked those efforts which would have prevented this entire mess.....Rick Hearst tweeted "I can't believe that the first gig my son Nicholas gets is General Hospital. Coolest thing is, I had nothing to do with it. Hahaha! Take that Hollywood nepotism! Now if we could only get Rick Lansing back as well. It is being rumored that Herbst may be playing Morgan Corinthos. Guess we will have to wait and see......Welcome home Laura, RC's vision of Laura will be closer to her roots than prior regimes. What they did in Francis's previous comebacks were the worst. There is still an adventurous spirit within her and a strong commitment to fighting for her family. Keep in mind the phrase, "breaking the curse once and for all." and also remember Helena is not finished with Laura ether. Helena's hatred of Laura has not mellowed with age. It is rumored that we will see Nikolas, and a resurrected Cassadine make a comeback. The Spencer/Cassadines feuds rears its head one last time and Helena is right smack dab in the middle. As I mentioned many times the "Ice Princess" revisited coming soon....Props to Michael Easton for bringing Caleb Morley to GH, he hasn't skipped a beat!! Will Lucy team up with John to prove that Caleb does really exist? Will Sam also come to realize that Caleb does exist and save Lucy and Rafe from the vampire king?

Luke belongs with Laura, always has , always will.
But she will not be staying too long I bet..so if Luke is staying, then he needs to be with Tracy.
He's OK with Anna, but it's not quite right.
Laura can come back single or married to someone...anyone...even Caleb..lol..as long as it is NOT with Scotty. He has no business being with her...that is the worst possible thing to happen to her and knowing how these writers have been, that is probably what it will be. There goes another chance of a good story down the drain.

Maybe daddy will take Maxi away with him when he leaves..we can only hope !!!!

So Laura returns on Monday and there is no mention of her for the rest of the week? Wow some big return !

Sabrina makes a mistake... was it Britt who caused it and blames Sabrina. Wonder if a patient dies because of it.?

I like Molly with Rafe....this new TJ doesn't fit with her like the other one did. There's no chemistry there.

OK - so only the characters John, Todd and Star were owned by PP----So were does that still leave them? If they (the people) stay with GH, they are going to have to suddenly change their names and any background that goes with the character.
John - not too much to change, just don't mention Nat or Liam anymore.and he can keep the name Caleb.
Starr - is she no longer Todd's daughter? Did she never have a boyfriend or child killed in a car crash? What name will she be called by?
Todd - he is not Starr's dad? He will have to remove the scar ! He didn't have a brother who he supposedly killed? Does he still have a son? Why was there talk of recasting a son for him? Do John and Todd still know each other? From where? Can't be from Llandview where he arrested him for killing his brother, that he no longer has.
The point is none of their backgrounds or names can remain the same if the characters are no longer in GH possession.
If they stop showing them at the end of Feb - what is going to happen to them? Going to kill them off? Have Todd and Starr go on the run to escape prison and John take off after them as usual?

If more AMC characters don't come back - what is left of the show? All new recasts..nobody familiar to connect with?
Same with OLTL - what are they going to do if ALL the actors don't come back to their original parts?
All new people playing the parts will not make it the same old show we are use to .!!

So now Franco has a kid? Who was he ever going with? I can't believe there is going to be anther long drawn out story.

What if Kevin really was Ryan? Who are Kevin and Ryan???

I will take each day as it comes.
As my grandfather always told me.."Don't ever get old,it's a ..." I should have listened to him!!
I love my furbabies!
Live Long and Prosper!

Fasten your seat belts, I heard another ball may possibly drop next week in this complicated PP/ABCD affair. I don't know if you are as confused as I am about Prospect Park and ABCD's agreement. PP made a statement as you can read on the main page that the OLTLers were only characters that were owned by PP, NOT the actors. But it seems they are going to share the characters. How this will effect everyone involved is still a mystery. ABC announced that the characters of John, Starr and Todd will stop taping after 2-7 and will not be seen after 2-27 at least for awhile. From what I am hearing the character licenses reverted back to PP. To my knowledge, this is the only thing that has been settled this week. There are larger issues at hand and the larger framework deal is not completely dead. There are union lawyers still in the mix. They call it a win win situation I call it WTF? There is something beyond what we know at play here. We may never know what, although I have a sneaking suspicion that it'll play out for all to see when this situation is resolved.

And what about All My Children there has been so much drama about OLTL and GH that there is no word about that show other then the actors who were hired and that Agnes Nixon is on board to help with the transition. What I have heard is they are recasting Adam Chandler Jr. and possibly picking up where AMC left off with JR in the tunnel just having had shot his gun at someone, but who no one knows yet. Apparently not one of the actors who have resigned to come back.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Alison's dead!! Where is Rafe Kovich? As much as I am digging the Port Charles revisited TPTB were stupid not to bring back Rafe (Brian Gaskill) to reprise his role and be there for Rafe Jr. So what that he is Caleb's kid, Lucy said Rafe loved him and now when he needs him TPTB have not even thought to bring back The Angel Rafe. What the hell are they thinking? With the new mystery "Who killed Alison Barrington" (if she married Rafe shouldn't she be Alison Kovich?) John will become a suspect in Alison's death since he looks so much like Caleb thanks to Rafe Jr. From what I am being told the writers want the viewers to question whether or not vampires could be real or just a some crazy woman's imagination. When this arc ends it is supposed to leave the viewers with answers to some of the questions but also raise new ones. And alot has to do with what is going on with PP and ABCD........With talk of another Quartermaine heir out there, I don't know how many of you remember back in 2009 when Franco and Carly met up at the Christmas tree store and Carly had Joss in her arms and they were arguing about who would buy a specific tree. During that conversation Franco mentioned he had a daughter named Lauren. Yes that is the how the story went back then, don't remember? Go to: If Ron follows through with this story it will complicate the ELQ story, no surprise there.......Now that Duke has been hired by AJ to work for ELQ how will that effect Tracy? Don't count Ms Quartermaine out just yet, Duke will be very helpful to Tracy since he has the associations that could help her. And then we have Luke who will blackmail Carly for the information about another heir.....We had the tale of 2 Todd's, then we had the 2 Dukes, so now will there be the tale of 2 Q's? This story is planned long term so don't expect it to wrap up soon.....As we all know Ron is all about past stories and with Laura coming he is bringing back one that old time viewers are sure to love, "The Ice Princess" revisited...... Same goes for Frisco. Just remember a revisit is not a duplication of an old story it is an exploration of old events and how they effect the present as this will be the case upon Frisco's return. We all remember Maxie's heart transplant when Mac went looking for Frisco. Felicia and Maxie's problems were discussed recently and mother and daughter healed. Now it's time for Frisco/Maxie/Felicia to do the same. Just look at the similarities: Maxie faces a crisis, Frisco returns to help, Maxie is choosing to give up her child as did Frisco allowing Mac to raise his children. Frisco and Felicia make amends which triggers the Mac/Felicia/Frisco triangle revisit. And in the end a Maxie and Spinelli goal. This is RC's way to engage in a recognizable plot, throwing many many complications in true love's way for a couple to overcome.....What if Kevin really was Ryan?

PROSPECT PARK RELEASES STATEMENT

Prospect Park released the following statement regarding its licensing agreement with "All My Children" and "One Life to Live." In 2011, when Prospect Park decided to put everything on the line to reboot these shows, they lent characters to "General Hospital" until shooting began for the new programs so that the characters could stay alive with the fans and also so that the actors could remain working. Everyone at ABC and on the production staff of "General Hospital" understood that this was a temporary arrangement until production started once again on "One Life to Live." Now the time has come to start production and Prospect Park needs to, once again, cast these characters including Llanview transplants Michael Easton (John) and Kristen Alderson (Starr). See statement below:

"Prospect Park understands that ‘General Hospital’ has featured Llanview transplants Michael Easton (John) and Kristen Alderson (Starr) among others while we arranged production of the new version of ‘One Life to Live.’ These characters, who we own under our agreement, are obviously essential to our production efforts, and a large reason we licensed the program. We also understand that legions of ‘General Hospital’ fans have grown to love these actors and characters in a short time. So even though we are paying ABC millions of dollars to license the shows, we have been, and continue to be willing to equally share the characters with ‘General Hospital’ and ABC. It's a win-win for the actors, the shows and fans, who love all of the shows and storylines. We hope to work out these agreements with ABC and the actors."

MORE SUCKIE NEWS...
I feel bad for the actors. This is NOT fair for them.....

As expected, Roger Howarth (Todd) and Kristen Alderson (Starr) will be joining fellow One Life to Live transplant Michael Easton (McBain) in exiting General Hospital by the end of next week. Since GH tapes several weeks in advance, the trio will continue to be seen on air for the duration of the month of February and possibly into early March.

These departures are the result of the ongoing legal battle between Disney-ABC and OLTL licensee Prospect Park. Prospect Park plans to begin airing new episodes of OLTL and All My Children online this spring. The production company is said to want the three characters—which they licensed to Disney-ABC for use on GH until such time as they were able to put OLTL in production again— back.

Word is, Disney-ABC and Prospect Park have reached an impasse in attempting to work out a deal which would allow Howarth, Alderson and Easton to reprise their roles on OLTL, while eventually returning to GH.

"At this point, no one knows if the characters will ever be going back to GH," says a source.

As previously reported, actors Howarth, Alderson and Easton remain under contract with ABC and reside in Los Angeles. Prospect Park's reboot of OLTL will be taped in Connecticut.

THIS SUCKS................

Easton Out At GH Next Week!

With Prospect Park bringing ONE LIFE TO LIVE back to life on the Web, they retain the rights to the characters of Todd, McBain and Starr, all of whom are currently appearing on GENERAL HOSPITAL. However, the actors are under contract with GH, so the whole situation is kind of a complicated mess. And now it appears that the legal tangles are going to pull the actors off the air very soon, as Michael Easton (McBain) posted on his Facebook page that he couldn't legally be at GH after Friday, February 8.

"I heard a rumor of some lovely people who were going to stop by the studio for a certain riff raff's birthday," he wrote. "Some others who wanted to deliver a cake. Even more wonderful folks who wanted to send cards and treats and I want you to know I am incredibly humbled by these gestures but unfortunately I will not be around to enjoy them. I've been informed, that due to some ongoing legal this and that, I cannot be at GENERAL HOSPITAL after February 8th and since I know many of you go to great trouble to do something special, I just don't want to see anybody's efforts go to waste (especially the lovely person who always sneaks in the fine Irish Whiskey). If it's not too bold, may I suggest a donation to The American Cancer Society instead. Then some good will have come out of this..."

What this means for Roger Howarth (Todd) and Kristen Alderson (Starr) is unclear, but they'll likely be in the same position. We're currently looking into this and we'll pass along the details as we get them!

More Renewals In Daytime
By SOD • Posted: Jan 26, 2013

Hot on the heels of NBC renewing DAYS through September 2014 and Prospect Park officially releasing the cast and production lists for AMC and OLTL comes word from deadline.com that B&B is next to be reupped and GH is in no danger of cancellation.

‘Bold & Beautiful’ And ‘General Hospital’ To Return As Daytime Soaps Stage Comeback

What a difference a year makes. Between 2009 and 2012, daytime soaps went from 8 to 4, and by the end of 2012, Prospect Park’s effort to revive two of the departed, All My Children and One Life To Live, had hit a dead end. Then within the last month, NBC renewed its daytime drama, Days Of Our Lives, and Prospect Park got its plan for AMC and OLTL online series back on track. Now I hear that CBS is poised to renew The Bold And The Beautiful, and ABC has no plans to cancel General Hospital (the series is on a perpetual production track and doesn’t need formal renewals if the network wants to keep it on the air). CBS’ Young & The Restless, the highest-rated daytime drama, is two years into a three-year pickup, and casting and pre-production on AMC and OLTL is in full swing. That means that we will likely have more daytime dramas on next fall than we have this season — the first such year-to-year gain in 15 years, since NBC added Passions in 1998.

Daytime soaps’ improving fortunes is not a coincidence. After years of ratings erosion, numbers for the daytime dramas have stabilized, and they’ve even posted year-to-year gains this season. Bold And The Beautiful and General Hospital have made their networks’ decisions to keep them easy with impressive ratings increases. B&B averages 3.44 million total viewers (+6%), 1.6/9 in women 25-54 (+14%) and 1.1/7 in women 18-49 (+10%). Airing in an earlier slot to make room for Katie Couric’s new syndicated talk show, GH, which will mark its 50th anniversary April 1, averages 3 million viewers (+16%), a 1.6/9 in women 25-54 (no change) and 1.2/7 in women 18-49 (+9%).

Y&Rand Days Of Our Lives are down slightly: 4.74 million (-3%), 2.1/13 (no change) and 1.4/9 (-7%) for Y&R; and 2.64 million (no change), 1.3/7 (-7%) and 1.0/6 (-9%) for Days.

Steve Burton Explains His Y&R Leap
By SOD • Posted: Jan 15, 2013

In a candid interview with TV Guide, Steve Burton discusses his controversial-with-some-fans jump from GH to Y&R, where he'll debut as Dylan on January 29. Check it out here.
Steve Burton Explains His Return to TV, New Gig on The Young and the Restless

by Michael Logan

Steve Burton
His fans are thrilled, except for the ones who are totally pissed. Emmy winner Steve Burton made big news — and crushed a lot of hearts — last fall when he left his role as General Hospital mob man Jason Morgan and moved to Nashville. So how come he's back in L.A. and working at The Young and the Restless a mere three months later? Burton hits the CBS soap Jan. 29 as war vet Dylan McAvoy, the supposedly-dead ex of Avery Clark (Jessica Collins). TV Guide Magazine caught up with Burton to get the deets on this head-scratching career move. This star has some 'splainin' to do!

TV Guide Magazine: You can't be broke yet. Why jump back into the suds so soon?
Burton: I've had an incredible time with my family, taking my daughter to gymnastics, coaching my son's football team, shopping at Target — stuff I never got to do when I was at GH — but I never intended to retire. I'm a worker and CBS stepped up and made a deal. It all happened so fast, just like the telenovela I'm putting together with [Y&R exec producer] Jill Farren Phelps and James Franco for Sony. We're inches away on that project. It's looking very promising. The truth is, if I'd gotten an offer for a primetime show or a movie, I probably wouldn't be on Y&R right now. I just want to work.

TV Guide Magazine: You weren't out of work that long. Did you really have time to sit on your porch in Nashville — I'm assuming you have one — and really enjoy your new life?
Burton: I have a great porch! The move to Nashville forced me and my triple-A personality to slow down and appreciate the little things in life. I haven't had three months off ever! And it seemed like a year. Pretty soon I was saying to my wife, "Okay, what are we doing today, honey?" It wasn't that I was tired of sitting on my porch. I will never tire of that. But I was definitely ready to shake it up. People see me as Jason so much they forget I'm an actor. And an actor wants to explore! We're so blessed in daytime to have jobs that go on forever, but it does keep you from trying other things. Actors are gypsies. They're not supposed to have the same job for 20 or 25 years!

TV Guide Magazine: Word is, you have a very cool deal at Y&R that gives you tons of free time. True?
Burton: I'll get a lot of long weekends and frequent weeks off so I can get back to Nashville. I don't want to work five days a week like I did at GH. [Laughs] I was on the air so much even I was sick of me!

TV Guide Magazine: If GH had tried harder to accommodate your personal life would you still be there?
Burton: I don't want to point fingers. I know there are a lot of disappointed fans. They don't really understand what goes on behind the doors. They don't understand why I wouldn't go back to play Jason if I'm ready to work again. But what happens at GH should stay at GH.

TV Guide Magazine: It did seem like the new GH honchos weren't trying all that hard to keep you. Do you think your exit fit better with their story plans and their interest in cutting back on all the mob activity?

Burton: I don't feel it had anything to do with story. The flying back and forth was the sticking point. If I was still living in California, I'd still be with GH. It was too difficult production-wise to work things out and I understand that. I know how the business works and I'm not going to get mad over it. I don't want a show to break its back for one actor. It's not right. Besides, it really felt like it was time for me to go. I was gracious. They were gracious. There are no hard feelings with me and [exec producer] Frank Valentini.

TV Guide Magazine: You keeping up on GH since your exit?
Burton: Yeah, and I'm very excited they're doing so well. That show has brought so much positivity back to daytime. A year ago, it was all negative Nancy, right?

TV Guide Magazine: Maybe we should leave Ms. Grahn out of this. Did you sign a long-term or short-term contract with Y&R?
Burton: It's a short-term contract. We'll see how it works out. No one wants to be forced into anything.

TV Guide Magazine: Your reception on The Talk last week was phenomenal but we gotta ask: What's it like having Sheryl Underwood leap into the air and wrap her thighs around your pelvis like a boa constrictor?
Burton: [Laughs] Thank God I've been working out! I was ready for it! That whole situation on The Talk was overwhelming. I had no idea they were going to go that big or be that enthusiastic about this Y&R thing. It was crazy — like New Year's Eve kinda crazy.

TV Guide Magazine: You do look a lot slimmer.
Burton: I had to get back on TV before I gained more weight. [Laughs] Robust isn't my best look. I'm trying to be healthy so, yeah, I'm a lot thinner now. In fact, I've had an entire makeover! My Jason hair is gone and so are the black T-shirts. We'll see how far Jill pushes me. She'll be, like, "Okay, you have two more weeks and that shirt's coming off!" The costume department is definitely wanting me younger. They dropped my clothes down a full size. [Laughs] They put me in a medium to make me look buff.

TV Guide Magazine: How was your first day on the job?
Burton: Awesome. People were so great to me. Christian LeBlanc [Michael] and Daniel Goddard [Cane] greeted me and really helped me out. So did Sharon Case [Sharon] and Joshua Morrow [Nick]. I have so many friends in that CBS building — Kristoff St. John [Neil], Doug Davidson [Paul], Don Diamont [Bill on The Bold and the Beautiful] — but I definitely had those first-day-of-school jitters because I don't know who this Dylan character is yet. I just know I don't want him to be anything like Jason. But, then, I'm even concerned about that. I don't want to go too far away from Jason because that might be pushing it. It might get weird.

TV Guide Magazine: Are we headed for a Dylan-Avery-Nick triangle? Is Dylan going to beat the crap out of Nick?
Burton: I don't know yet, but I'm definitely going to hold down Joshua Morrow and shave off that famous scruff on his chin. And if he's going to be in a triangle with me, he needs to take off those goofy sweaters!

TV Guide Magazine: Any message for the fans?
Burton: Yes, please hang in with me on this! I'm a little nervous so cut me some slack. [Laughs] Maybe put the TV on mute for my first couple of episodes and look at the new hairdo. Everything's gonna be great...I promise!

Murder hits Port Charles and John McBain is on the case. But what happens when the detective in charge is also a suspect?! This week, the mystery begins!

This week on General Hospital, Lucy's husband, Kevin Collins, returns to Port Charles to try and get her to quit it with all the vampire talk. But look for another familiar face from the Port Charles days -- Alison Barrington -- to return to town, and she thinks John is "Caleb" too! John can't seem to catch a break. But by week's end, a shocking murder is committed ... and John is accused of being the killer!

The Plot Thickens as 'Port Charles' Actress Reprises Role
Monday January 28, 2013

Okay, I told everyone there was no vampires storyline. Maybe not, but there are certainly things happening as a result of Lucy's precarious mental state...involving vampires.

Port Charles actress Erin Hershey Presley, who also appeared on General Hospital at one point, will return as Alison Barrington.

Alison had sex with Caleb Morley toward the end of the Port Charles series. The result of this union may have been a child named Rafe (or a character named Rafe actually is the father, it's one of those who's the daddy things), to be played by Jimmy Deshler. Deshler debuts January 30.

According to ABC, Alison agrees with Lucy that John McBain is Caleb. This supposition puts her in danger. The plot will involve a murder, and an important character will be blamed.

I have to trust that the writers know what they're doing. I also have to assume that if you were not a fan of Port Charles or if by chance you don't remember every little bit of it, you can still follow this story.
More Vampire Explanations Provided
Saturday January 26, 2013

In an upcoming General Hospital episode, we learn more about Lucy's vampire craziness during her psychic break.

Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) tells the story to a harassed John McBain, who is concerned that Lucy believes him to be this vampire named Caleb.

Kevin has a daughter, Livvie, he tells McBain, and she married a man named Caleb and disappeared. Lucy still feels very guilty and upset about that situation.

With the financial stress Lucy has due to Coe-Coe Cosmetics, plus her return to Port Charles and all the emotions it stirred up, Lucy had a breakdown and imagined these vampires.

This doesn't gel, I don't believe, with the vampire story on Port Charles. Here, it's all in Lucy's head.

By the way, Collins' daughter Livvie was played by Kelly Monaco on Port Charles.

So GH gets to bring in the fact that all of these actors were fellow vampires, use it to get Kevin Collins to town, and then have it all explained away.

Is There Another Quartermaine Heir?
Saturday January 26, 2013

The rumblings are everyplace...and the scripts are being carefully worded. We know that Heather's got a secret, and from what Carly says, the takeover of ELQ is not a slam-dunk for either Tracy or A.J.

Is Heather somehow still married to Edward? If so, she has a claim to ELQ.

Franco briefly mentioned a daughter Lauren. It would make sense that Heather would know about her -- is she the heir?

Does this somehow have to do with Jake Spencer and therefore, Elizabeth?

Or is this Jimmie Lee Holt or a child of his? Jimmie Lee, for those of you who don't remember, is Edward's illegitimate son.

Then again, so was Bradley Ward. Is there another Ward running around?

There is a casting call out for a female in her mid-to-late 20s described as "Caucasian, blonde, beautiful, passionate, complex." Could this be Lauren? GH has been known to put out casting calls just to see what's around, too, as far as talent. This happened in the case of Lindsey Morgan.

The OLTL Imports: What Will Happen?
Thursday January 24, 2013

The answer is, it's anybody's guess.

ABC and Prospect Park are still working on the situation, the genesis of which was some time ago.

Prospect Park was asked if ABC could license the characters of Todd, Starr, and John, and the company said yes because at that time, no one knew if they were going to be able to go forward.

Now Prospect Park is going forward, and the characters belong to them. We hope it's only temporary and that all three will be back in Port Charles soon.

Duell tells Soaps in Depth magazine that it's for the best, that they weren't quite ready for marriage yet.

We hope for the very best for both of these young people.

Viewers, You're Still Panicking - Stop!
Tuesday January 22, 2013

Goodness, my mailbox is full of panicked, angry viewers!

We need to get a few things clear here.
"They shouldn't have gotten rid of Jason." It wasn't General Hospital's decision to lose Jason -- Steve Burton left on his own, and the demise of the character was pretty much slapped together. You can yell at the show about many things, but getting rid of Steve Burton isn't one of them.
Isn't it time they recast Jason? Ron Carlivati, GH's head writer states, as was previously reported here, that Jason will not be recast at present because the writers want to explore new possibilities for Sam. Okay, you disagree, but no, it isn't time they recast Jason because they're not going to.
"I hate the vampire storyline." People, there is no vampire storyline. The writers took advantage of the ex-Port Charles vampires being on the show to highlight Lucy losing it so they could bring Kevin Collins back to help her. I have no idea if there will be flashbacks, but I don't think we're going to see full-blown new scenes with vampires.
"Do whatever you have to do to keep the OLTL imports." Read the blog. Contractually the producers can't do anything. They cannot use these characters at present. Again, don't blame GH.
"I'm sick of all these people coming and going. I'm waiting for Lucky to come back." Keep waiting -- he's starring on Nashville. If the producers can, they will try to fit him in for the anniversary according to his schedule.
The OLTL actors shouldn't be forced to move back across the country." No one is forcing them to do anything. They do not have to appear on One Life to Live.

Prospect Park has taken back the CHARACTERS, not the actors. The actors are under contract to ABC Daytime.

General Hospital is trying to work out being able to use the characters later on. On the current character list for the new show, only Todd is mentioned.

You can bet that the producers and writers of General Hospital don't want to lose these characters, and how they would be brought back with new names is beyond me. But this is a soap opera. Anything is possible.

Please all remember this: A year ago, General Hospital was looking into a large garbage can with its name on it. Prospect Park's financing had fallen through. We have no idea what's going to happen now, whether people will want to watch the new Llanview show online, how General Hospital will get around this, or anything else.

We couldn't have anticipated GH coming back in the ratings as well as it has, any more than we could have anticipated Prospect Park rising from the ashes.

All of this is good news for soaps. Viewers need to relax and not go through the ceiling each time there is any news. We have weathered a huge storm already. I think we can get through anything else that comes.

CAST NEWS

Jon Lindstrom will reprise his role as Dr. Kevin Collins beginning January 30.
He will reportedly return just as Lucy (Lynn Herring) gets herself in a jam. The
status of their relationship will be revealed.
