OH WOW !! Agreement!! Be still my heart !!

Since this is going to be about stars we all like or have watched in the Past/Present....from Different Soaps...why don't we all make suggestions for a title here and see which one we all like.
Get your creative mind working and let's come up with a catchy title. (Pretend we are Soap writers)...never mind that one..they would be lousy titles like CHEW, Revolution, TASTE....

Why not just have a thread for any story that may have a Soap character on?
This way if anyone sees when one will be on..could list the show and time and have discussions for those who see it. Like when Castle , wasn't it, had some on.
Dallas could still be the main theme.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Will Easton pull double duty on both shows? With TPTB investing time in the vampire storyline could McBain be a descendent of Caleb Morley? Is Lucy Imagining the whole vampire thing? With the arrival of Erin Hershey Presley that was secretly filmed and the introduction of her son Rafe (I find it ironic Alison named her son after her true love Rafe Kovich -vampire slayer) played by newcomer Jimmy Deshler, Lucy just not be off her rocker after all. Ron is going to make this story look like Lucy is imagining what happen and had a psychotic break. Alison comes to PC to tell Lucy that the vampires aren't real, but before Alison can talk to Lucy she is murdered and this sets off a murder mystery and we know how Ron loves mysteries! However, at the end of the arc, it will be left up to the viewers to decide what was real and what was all in Lucy's mind. All signs will point to vampires being a figment of Lucy's imagination but RC has plans to introduce two signs that vampires really did exist in PC.......The pacing on the arcs and stories can create an appearance that they are ending, but no so, in RC's world there are more twists and turns coming. We thought we had seen the last of Heather Webber, but she has much more to do. It was always planned that Heather would return and address her Franco lies. With Burton's sudden departure this impacted the arc and that is now why Heather is involved in the Ferncliff fiasco. Rumor has it we will see Heather, Todd and Lucy join forces and escape from Ferncliff.....The Pickle-Lila story is going to kick in gear. While Tracy is fearful that AJ will take over ELQ and it will seem that way for awhile, Edward was smarter then any one realized. Did Edward know AJ was still alive and that is why he took measures to protect the company to make sure if the SEC came after them his assets and ELQ would be protected. Tracy believes she successful hid ELQ's true financials from Edward. He proved more crafty and outsmarted her. Enter Pickle-Lila. Insiders are saying that ABC retained the license to Skye Quartermaine and hope to persuade Robin Christopher to return to GH.......AJ offers Duke a job, Will Duke's connections and ELQ go hand in hand?.......Expect more returns come March/April..... Alcazar anyone?

Erin Hershey Presley returns as Alison Barrington
on General Hospital

Jimmy Deshler has joined the cast of General Hospital” in the role of Rafe, who is believed to be the son of Alison Barrington and Caleb Morley as a result of their one night stand occurring towards the end of ABC’s long canceled “Port Charles.”

Deshler debuts on the Wednesday, January 30 episode, which is also the same day Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) returns to Port Charles to try and appeal to his wife, Lucy Coe, over her belief in vampires.

Did ABC make a mistake and accidentally spill the beans that Erin was secretly taping her return to the series after a near 13-year absence. Although Alison Barrington dominated on “PC,” the character was on “GH” in the early 2000′s during scenes surrounding the annual Nurse’s Ball charity event, which is set to return to the “GH” this spring. Alison joins Lucy in her belief that John McBain is in actuality Caleb, only to find herself at a crossroads of danger by weeks end. But will John be the one paying the definitive price?

I think they are caring the vampire thing too far now. It was funny in the beginning when Sam and John thought they knew each other. They could have done the same with Lucy and I went along with her being comminited to bring back her Doc. BUT now....with bringing in Alison....

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Can General Hospital get any better? With the return of Jon Lindstrom, Jack Wagner, Kin Shriner and Genie Francis just to mention a few and if sources are correct that's just the beginning, Valentini confirmed they’ve been in touch with Tyler Christopher, Jackie Zeman, Denise Alexander, and Rachel Ames. Others have been mentioned to appear at the Nurse's Ball but nothing solid. Who knows, we may even see characters that have past on in a ghostly apparition watching their loved ones perform or perhaps letting them know they are OK. The big question is when is the Nurse's Ball, some say April which makes sense since April 1st will be GH's 50th birthday......Genie Francis will begin taping next week and Laura will be coming back with a BIG secret, but before we find out what that is we will know where she has been and who she has been with. Did Scotty and Laura get married? Did Laura spend time with Lucky while off the canvas and was Nikolas there as well? Have Lucky and Frisco been working together for the WSB? Only time will tell.....AJ and Michael think they may have the goods on Tracy now that Lucy has been locked away. And ironically it's Tracy who asks for help from Sonny. This is one desperate CEO as we all know how much Tracy hates Sonny. Tracy notices something strange about the Pickle Lila label and may realize this is the key to all her problems.......Kevin comes to Lucy's rescue when he explains Kevin explains the whole story to Mcbain. But Lucy is not out of the woods when she comes across Heather at Ferncliff. These two stories will collide with one another and what is even more bizarre is that Heather and AJ have a secret..... together!!!!....Maxie makes a deal with the devil AKA Dr Brittany to keep her secret about the miscarriage and the revelation that she is pregnant with Spinelli's baby. Maxie finds out about Brit's dirty little secrets and the two make a deal to keep both of their secrets hidden. Sabrina will start to realize something is not right about the sleazy doctor but it may be too late when Britt makes sure Sabrina flunks out of the nursing program.....Alexis gets a strange message thinking it is from Jax, but what Alexis does not realize is that it is not Jax but Jerry (who we saw for a brief moment in Switzerland a few weeks ago) who is contacting her, what he says and what he wants will have Alexis running for help.... Can this show get any better?

Just as predicted by soap opera columnist Raven Beauty many months ago, Genie Francis will return as Laura, just in time for a lavish 50th GH anniversary in April. The actress was recently released from her Y&R role as Genevieve after former GH executive producer Jill Farren Phelps joined that show. Francis starts filming in the GH studios sometime later this month and will air starting February 11. Before signing a deal to reprise her legendary, legacy role, Francis sought assurances from TPTB that her character's long absence from her children would be explained. Executive producer Frank Valentini promised Francis that absence would most definitely be addressed, and hinted in a recent TV Guide interview with William Keck that Laura will return with a secret.

The executive producer/head writer team of Frank Valentini and Ron Carlivati — Cartini to fans — is a storied one. Fans either love the results of their collaborative process or hate them, with a venom. But one thing's clear: they sent OLTL off with a bang and revived GH from the dumps. The secret to their success is simple… Valentini is the wind beneath Carlivati's wings. The budget-savvy EP lets Carlivati fly creatively and tries to figure out a way to make the fanciful words and ideas come to life without breaking the bank. Most of the time, it's one smooth transition from brainchild to the TV screen. Valentini explained the hair-raising process: "I get nervous when I first read stuff that I think is either too expensive to do, or too overwhelming. Then, I sit with it for a while and then we try to figure out the best way to do it, because that's our job. Our job is to carry out the vision of the writers… There are already so many constraints put on the writers in terms of: actors' availability, guarantees, airdates—Monday through Friday, also sort of set constrictions. So why would you want to add another constraint to your creative team in terms of imagination? That does not seem like the right thing to do." Carlivati echoed this by crediting his boss' flexibility and open-mindedness in sharing a willingness to join in the vision quest. "Frank has also given me and the other writers the ability to `go for it.' He will say, `You write it full out, and we will tell you if it's something we are unable to do.' He really doesn't ever hold us back, or restrict us." It's Valentini's reasoned, stable influence, though, that Carlivati really admires — the yin to his yang. "[H]e gives me creative freedom to go anywhere I want to with story. He does pull me back from the brink. I think he is the voice of reason in this relationship. I am the one who pushes the envelope and wants the show to be more and more outrageous, and while I think Frank appreciates that, he is the voice of sanity that keeps the show on an even keel. When GH spin-off Port Charles aired from 1997 to 2003, vampires roamed the town. In many ways, PC was ahead of its time. Now, vampire stories are all the rage with HBO's True Blood and the movie franchise of Twilight, along with many rip-offs. Head writer Ron Carlivati's going to bring some of that vampire thrill back just a bit starting next Monday when Lucy freaks out, thinking she's run into the king of the vampires — Caleb (formerly played by Michael Easton, now a mortal policeman named John McBain). Both Easton and Kelly Monaco (Sam) were on PC as the king and queen of the vampires. They will show up at Kelly's Diner for the January 14th episode as John and Sam when Lucy (also on PC as a vampire slayer) walks in. She takes one look at John, screams out his PC vampire name and reverts to her vampire slayer role, taking a near-fatal stab at him and sending him directly to GH for stitching up. Lucy then goes to jail, where she meets up with Duke Lavery, thinking he's really another vampire named Joshua Temple (from PC). What the hell's going on? Carlivati said he wanted to give a respectful nod to PC with the returns of so many of those characters/actors. "Our universes are colliding but this is no quick gimmick. This will kick off a nice little mystery story: Is Lucy crazy or is there something very real going on here? And, if she's crazy, why do John and Sam feel like they've met before?" Lynn Herring (Lucy Coe, vampire slayer) digs it. She said it makes more sense to acknowledge the vampire crossing than ignore the obvious. She also said it was a shame (her feelings were hurt) that she was never invited back to GH once PC was cancelled. But calm down, GH purists. Executive producer Frank Valentini said last week that this vampire story arc doesn't mean GH will turn into PC, at all.

Laura Wright (Carly) said she and co-star Roger Howarth (Todd) went to the GH writers at the soap's annual Christmas bash to pitch their pairing rave about their pairing as something special and different from the previous ones, including Todd and Blair, and Carly and Sonny. "For these two characters what's happened between them is extremely emotional, realizing that they have fallen in love with someone and they thought it could be forever and now that's messed up and it's very difficult," Wright said. Fans have recognized the specialness in this pairing as well. Watching Todd prove his love to Carly would really make those fans happy beyond measure, "In her heart, [Carly] wants him to try and win her back and tell her that she's the most important thing in his world and he will do whatever it takes to fix it. I have a feeling that writers are going to be forced into it. (Laughs) I am telling you once all these scenes air the fans are going to go nuts!" –Soap Opera Digest

GH directors Larry Carpenter, William Ludel, and Scott McKinsey received nominations for Directors Guild of America awards in the daytime serials category. They will compete with OLTL's Jill Mitwell and DOOL's Albert Alarr. Winners claim their prize in formal ceremonies on February 2 in L.A.'s Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland.

For a savvy executive producer such as Frank Valentini — well, at least according to many in the casts he's overseen — the man sure isn't very bright about Rebecca Herbst's (Elizabeth) place on GH. In a January 11th interview with Deep Soap's Sara Bibel, Valentini expressed surprise at being told the new nursing student Sabrina was "somewhat polarizing" with fans. He actually believed "everybody liked her," and reacted unfavorably to the suggestion (by many fans) that Patrick be paired up with Elizabeth following Robin's death, not Sabrina — a child in comparison. (Translation: fans prefer watching their veterans to extras. Shouldn't Elizabeth have been the one to resurrect the Nurses' Ball as well?) Seemingly dismissing Patrick and Elizabeth's firm friendship — it's almost organically cut from fate, beauty, and a quiet nobility — outright, Valentini viewed such romantic notions as "creepy," seeing Elizabeth and Patrick as more sibling material. But he did promise Elizabeth would find love with someone else soon, someone not A.J. — another boneheaded move, considering she exudes loads of chemistry with Sean Kanan — someone who makes more sense considering she isn't one to take things fast. As a refresher course, Valentini insulted elucidated for fans who Elizabeth is as a character. "I love Becky [Herbst]. She's fantastic. But something needs to be built. I think that character's been bounced around. She's got three different children from three different men. If she's going to say, `I love you' to somebody, it's got to be real and it's got to mean something. She's not going to jump right into it. That's not who she is. I think everyone's forgotten a little bit what makes Liz the character you most identify with and most want to be. Becky's got the acting chops to pull it off if you go through every step of the relationship."

For GH's 50th anniversary, executive producer Frank Valentini is making sure he covers all the bases. Meaning, load up on those special guest appearances by beloved, longtime blasts from the pasts. He can't get everyone — in fact, TV Guide's William Keck reminded Valentini of many more vets (how about a brief homage to the late Shell Kepler/ex-Amy?) — but he's trying for the happy medium, considering the limitations of space, budget and time. At this point, it's about what TPTB would love to do and what they can do with their given cast plus some extras, notably surrounding the much-anticipated, resurrected Nurses' Ball for spring. Kelly Monaco (Sam) will, of course, be featured prominently as one of the Nurses' Ball acts (she won the first Dancing With The Stars and made the finals in DWTS All Stars this past fall season), and maybe with her real-life DWTS All Stars partner, Val Chermkovskiy. Lynn Herring's Lucy will definitely find herself battling a wardrobe malfunction, as in Nurses' Balls past. And Sabrina will undergo that makeover, possibly to be revealed at the Nurses' Ball. Other maybes: Jackie Zeman (ex-Bobbie), Denise Alexander (ex-Lesley), Rachel Ames (ex-Audrey) – possibly in the audience, Stuart Damon (ex-Alan), Jack Wagner (ex-Frisco), Lindze Letherman (ex-Georgie), Tyler Christopher (ex-Nikolas), Jonathan Jackson (ex-Lucky), and Nathan Parsons (ex-Ethan). Valentini confirmed they've been in touch with Christopher, Zeman, Alexander, and Ames, with a very nearly sure thing in Frisco's return. For those who've already come and gone — Kimberly McCullough's Robin and Steve Burton's Jason — Valentini wished them well and said the following: no Jason recast right now, since Sam faces other options, and whenever McCullough wants to slip in a return and take a break from the directing, they'd welcome her. With the news of Prospect Park resuming more definitive plans to resurrect AMC and OLTL to its online network soon (production begins next month), Valentini had to field questions about whether he'd lose his current OLTL cast members on GH. Prospect Park retains the rights to those OLTL people so… "Right now we're trying to work it out. I can't really say because the lawyers are doing their thing. John J. York (Mac) took on an entirely different sort of acting job recently, in an upcoming Christian indie, By God's Grace. York, Roark Critchlow (ex-Mike, DOOL), and Jillian Clare (ex-Abigail, DOOL) recently started work on the indie, on location in Oregon. The story follows an angry, young man having trouble with his success and this young girl who enlightens him. The indie will come out in the fall on Parables TV.

The smart, handsome actor everyone loves to death, Jon Lindstrom, reprises his role as Lucy Coe's estranged husband Kevin Collins, starting January 30. Both moved over to GH spin-off PC in the late `90s. By that soap's end in 2003, Kevin may have sorted things out with Lucy and gotten back together with her. GH viewers will learn more when he shows up soon to possibly help Lucy out of a jam. Lindstrom credited fans with the return.

Executive producer Frank Valentini told TV Guide's William Keck it's almost for sure Jack Wagner's back as Frisco soon. Wagner himself indicated he was contacted by TPTB for a 50th anniversary return of some sort. But nothing more concrete, other than he's open to returning for a short stint and he'd love to work with his ex-wife Kristina (Felicia) again, "…I might do it just to honor that show and what it's meant to my career and the fans and to Kristina's career." –Huffington Post, Jaimie Etkin, January 7, 2013

Soap Stars Headline New Holiday Film

Jillian Clare (ex-Abigail, DAYS; Tori, MISS BEHAVE), Roark Critchlow (ex-Mike, DAYS) and John J. York (Mac, GH) are currently in Oregon filming the 2013 holiday film, By God's Grace. The faith-based indie flick tells the story of an angry, yet successful young man who is shown a new perspective on life and faith by a young girl. Jon Lindstrom Returns To GH

Looks like Lucy is getting some company! Jon Lindstrom is returning to GH as Kevin Collins, a role he played starting in 1994 and resumed alongside Lynn Herring (Lucy) on the GH spin-off PORT CHARLES. His last GH appearance was in 2004. Expect the actor back on-screen on January 30.

Genie Francis Returns To GH

It's official! Genie Francis has inked a deal to reprise her beloved Port Charles role, Laura Spencer, and will be back on-screen on February 11, reports EW.com. She departed Y&R as Genevieve in November 2012. Francis originally joined GH in 1977 and was last on the show in 2008.

Wagner On Possible GH Return: "They Have Called"

Jack Wagner (ex-Frisco, GH), who Digest revealed to be atop GH's wish list for vets to bring back to celebrate the show's 50th anniversary in April, confirmed to the Huffington Post that he has been contacted by execs. "I have nothing to say about it," he offered. "They have called, but there's nothing in ink or anything like that. I know it would be pretty special to work with Kristina [Wagner, Felicia], my ex-wife, again so we'll see what happens. I know it's around the corner here and if I go back, it would only be for a very short story arc. But I might do it just to honor that show and what it's meant to my career and the fans and to Kristina's career."

This week on General Hospital, everybody's at odds and ends in their personal lives, which adds up to some strange encounters. Like Carly getting drunk and getting payback from Todd ... only to have AJ come to her aid. And how about Sonny and Connie, the mortal enemies who find themselves closer in the aftermath of Trey's death.

Who could expect that Maxie would actually opt to take the high road when Spinelli decides to go back to Ellie. But nothing is ever simple in Port Charles -- certainly not taking the high road. Look for everything to be thrown into chaos when Maxie finds out that she's pregnant again!

Lucy Coe ensures that EVERYONE in Port Charles is aware of her return this week, and not in a positive way. Upon spotting John McBain for the first time, Lucy appears to suffer a complete psychotic break, calling McBain "Caleb" and attacking him! How crazy is she?

Meanwhile, Anna is having an understandably hard time adjusting to Duke in the aftermath of Faison's actions. Can she ever really trust Duke again? Things can only get complicated when Luke makes it back to Port Charles.

All this, plus Sabrina and Felix must press on with Nurses' Ball plans, despite Lucy's breakdown, and Lucy makes an interesting acquaintance at Ferncliff.

The latest to return will be Jon Lindstrom, or, as Lucy used to call him, "Doc." As Kevin Collins, Lindstrom played a psychiatrist, but as the evil Ryan Chamberlain, he was a whack job. It's Kevin, Lucy's love, who is returning.

Ron Carlivati is looking to do another camp story line on General Hospital -- this time, with echoes of Port Charles.

Given that the PC vampire actors are on GH at the same time, GH may enter into True Blood territory with a vampire reunion of Caleb (Michael Easton), Livvie (Kelly Monaco) Jacob (Ian Buchanan), and Lucy (Lynn Herring).

The story arc will go into the question of why Sam and John believe they met before and launch a mystery story and bring Lucy's sanity into question.

As long as we don't bring the writers' sanity into question, all will be well.

Port Charles' vampire world visits GH when Lucy wanders into Kelly's Diner and thinks she spots the king of the vampires, Caleb, and then his queen, Livvie.
Lucy cries out, "Caleb!" at John McBain, then goes to stab him. McBain goes down hard, just as Sam comes forth.
Sam immediately goes to John McBain, to tend to him and be by his side when he's whisked off to GH.
Lucy, of course, is arrested and put in jail for her overreaction (it's not Caleb and this is not Port Charles). Wait'll Duke Lavery pops up and she thinks it's another PC vampire, Joshua.
Anna admits to John McBain that she's having a hard time sparking with Duke Lavery, because of what Faison did.
A.J. and Connie get Sonny's goat by smooching it up.
Carly loosens up with alcoholic beverages, which loosens her tongue about A.J. and Connie's disgusting display.
A.J. escorts Carly to Todd's hotel room. He tells her she's pissed `cause she must hate herself for letting Johnny and Todd into her heart.
Carly wakes up in a strange place. Well, not so strange. She's been there once before, when she made love to Todd.
Carly panics, because she can't remember the events of the night before. Her mind is going into overdrive.
Alexis uses her lawyerly skills to enable Kristina to be the one to sign off on pulling Trey's plug.
Lucy is gonna need Alexis's lawyerly skills too.
Tracy can't help but gloat about one-upping A.J. Michael wishes a house would drop on that bitch.
A.J. jumps on a chance, however slim, to reverse his fortunes, and goes to capitalize on it, letting Michael deal with Tracy.
A.J. departs, as Michael takes care of Tracy. But Tracy senses Michael's deceit.
Johnny tells on Todd to his lawyer Diane: that guy's gonna fly the coop.
Felix asks Carly if the Nurses' Ball could be held at the Metro Court.
Felix dares suggest how to deal with the Todd situation when speaking with Carly.
Sabrina can't bring herself to relax about the Nurses' Ball resurrection just yet. Felix, however, reassures her that Tracy's check went through.
Sabrina and Felix learn something new about Ms. Lucy.
Todd hits up Felix for a huge favor.
Todd racks up more charges, legally.
In court, Todd behaves unpredictably.
Sam has her day in court, so to speak, when she lays into Todd for all his crimes against her and Jason.
Sam officially releases all hope for Jason surviving that shooting and drowning.
Sam and Monica lay Jason to rest, finally.
Hanging out a bit with Sam's baby, Danny, fills John with anguish because he can't be with his own son, Liam.
Monica hits the roof when she finds out that Tracy let Lucy be a boarder in the Q mansion.
Lulu's scared her dad perished in the Turkish prison when she checks in and nobody there can give her any info on him.
Maxie wants Dr. Britt to immediately put Lulu and Dante's last embryo into her uterus so neither of them's the wiser.
Britt pushes the limit with Patrick, dumbly assuming she can replace Robin just like that.
Patrick must explain to Britt that he doesn't see her in that way. Ha ha ha.
Ellie becomes very depressed over her paralyzed condition.
Spinelli stabs Maxie in the heart when he says that he only made love to her on the rebound and furthermore, he's re-dedicated himself to making it work with Ellie.
Turns out Olivia's premonition is coming true quite nicely: Maxie is pregnant, but not how you think. Could be twins by two different sets of parents.

Next week: Michael and A.J. plot out their next option to take over ELQ… Ned's cautionary advice may do no good after the fact… Luke does a double-take… Sonny and Anna compare notes on their romantic quandaries… Emma weighs in on Dr. Britt with her clueless dad. Thumbs down on that manipulative skank… T.J. tries to help Molly out with a sincere appeal.

Laura Wright (Carly) is as insensitive- and conceited-sounding as ever with her recent Soap Opera Digest *remarks about the Carly-and-Todd pairing. Rumor has it, they didn't go over well with Kassie DePaiva (Blair, GH/OLTL), who used to play Roger Howarth's (Todd) on-screen soapy love interest. *"The relationship with Todd, in my opinion, and I'm pretty sure Roger as well, is a big deal! Roger and I talked to the writers at the GH Christmas Party about how, yes, Blair and Todd are wonderful and Sonny and Carly have their history, but there is something about Carly/Todd that is whole new world. For these two characters what's happened between them is extremely emotional, realizing that they have fallen in love with someone and they thought it could be forever and now that's messed up and it's very difficult…. In her heart, she wants him to try and win her back and tell her that she's the most important thing in his world and he will do whatever it takes to fix it. I have a feeling that writers are going to be forced into it. (Laughs) I am telling you once all these scenes air the fans are going to go nuts!" A little respect goes a long way, Toots.

Jimmy Deshler may or may not have joined as a recast Morgan. GHH Rumorville reported last week that "he may have already taped with Chad Duell (Michael) and Haley Pullos (Molly)."

You did people you really did it, All My Children and One Life To Live are back and while many believe it would never happen it did! All systems are full steam ahead as Prospect Park and The Writers Guild have made an agreement. So now it is just a matter of time who will return to their respective shows.


GENERAL HOSPITAL:
With PP getting back on track many are wondering what will happen to the OLTLers all ready in Port Charles. When Roger Howarth came on board he signed for 1 year, Kristen Alderson 3 years. But what about Easton? No one knows what deals were actually made and how ABC is going about keeping these characters on the show but I am betting some deal is being made by the Disney Media Group, the grand Pooba of them all to keep these characters......As for stories all ready in progress the ELO story is still moving forward. There are no OLTLers in that particular storyline, so its good to go. Tracy has still not comprende what that jar of Pickle Lila is for but when ELQ faces financial troubles that Tracy is not letting on it will eventually come to light. Keep in mind the ELQ proxies are revocable and ether sides can switch. Ned comes back and offers to help Tracy and this is where I am hearing the Pickle Lila story picks up....Jon Lindstrom returns and Lucy is in for the surprise of her life. Lucy has not mentioned Kevin since she returned or what transpired between these two remains a mystery. As usual Lucy finds her self in a heap of trouble (nothing new there, but that's our Lucy) and Kevin steps up to the plate and comes to her rescue. Many are wondering what in the world is going on with ABC and Prospect Park. After the last fiasco it's hard to say. As we have heard PP is trying to revive AMC and OLTL. It is also being mentioned that PP and ABC are in talks. In talks for what? No one seems to really know. Could ABC be trying to keep the OLTL characters that are doing so well on GH? Will PP take those characters away? Prospect Park has really yet to confirm anything, but we have a feeling that the largely-quiet Nixon would not have said anything at all had she felt that there was little chance that we could see either soap back on the air. We have read 2 actors from AMC have all ready signed on as has the new EP Jennifer Pepperman for OLTL. She served as a coordinating producer on the soap opera from 1998 to 2000, before taking the role as an associate director in 2010. As for a writing staff for ether show all that has been said is Prospect Park may hire core writers since it supposedly plans to go with out an agreement with WGA. It has been mentioned that Valentini knew that PP was making a play to get AMC and OLTL back on track. Filming is expected to begin in February and should take place in Connecticut. Really????

GENERAL HOSPITAL: With Maxie miscarriage didn't you find it rather interesting that Spinelli and Maxie had a one night stand? Well people that is what it was and when Spin hears about Ellie's accident he runs to her side and forgets all about Ms Jones. Will Maxie gets preggers with Spin's baby and not tell Lulu and Dante that she miscarried and keep it to herself and let everyone think that the baby she is "now" carrying is the Falconeri's? Am I smelling a OLTL revisited ala Jessica and Natalie?......Look for Emma to take it upon herself to make sure Patrick and Brittany do not become too close, Emma does something that scares the hell out of Patrick..... And speaking of Dr Britt could she be associated to a dangerous family? Could her mother be Dr Obrecht and her father Faison and that is the reason she came to Port Charles to keep an eyeful watch on Patrick? Oh what a tangled web we weave when trying to deceive Mr. Cavalieri, shame on you!!!!......Jerry Jax is back if only for a moment but he isn't finished doing what he started out to do. With Faison in jail he must take the reins on this plot, expect to see both Jerry and Faison back. Faison is not finish messing with Anna. As for Jax, rumor is he also will return but nothing concrete......How wonderful for Olivia, Steve purposed marriage, but we all know that isn't going to happen. With the recent firing of Scott Reeves expect to see Olivia have one of her visions about her wedding and it's not pretty. What my sources say is that Steve dies saving Olivia who's visions are threatening to a villain who wants to silence her. Does AJ have anything to do with it? AJ thinks he may have been responsible but I hear he isn't directly. Liz stops AJ from getting drunk while he suffers from guilt. Is this the beginning of new found friendship or maybe a relationship?

CONNIE SPINS OUT!
Reality is about to hit GENERAL HOSPITAL's Connie in an unimaginable way and make her do something so out-there that it even surprises Sonny! With Trey lying unconscious in a hospital bed, she has a surreal moment.

"She hears Steve say that Trey isn't responding and that he's losing him," Kelly Sullivan (Connie) explains. "She's standing there, looking at him, trying not to be seen and discovers that, 'Oh my God, what is this feeling in my stomach?' It's the first time it's become a reality to her that this is her son. But she doesn't know what to do with those feelings she has denied her whole life."

Vincent Irizarry Signs On For AMC Reboot

Vincent Irizarry (ex-David, AMC et al) has inked a deal to join the new AMC under Prospect Park. "Happy to share that I just signed on with Prospect Park for the 'All My Children' reboot!" he posted on Facebook. Adding further credence to the notion that Prospect Park's reboot of AMC will soon be up and running, Daytime Confidential reports that Ginger Smith, who has held a variety of production positions at AMC stretching back to 1988, has been tapped to serve as the new AMC's new executive producer. In other PP news, in addition to Lindsay Hartley (ex-Cara, AMC et al) reportedly inking a deal to appear ALL MY CHILDREN, we're hearing the company has reached out to three other big name Pine Valley stars and has its sights on some OLTL biggies, too.

This week on General Hospital, the new year brings bombshell revelations that have been stewing for a while. Foremost, Johnny finally tells Starr the whole truth: he is responsible for Cole and Hope's deaths. But Johnny's not going down alone, and in front of Carly and everybody, he spills the beans on ALL Todd's misdeeds. You can imagine how Carly reacts.

Meanwhile, the accident on the road has thrown everything into chaos, and both Trey and Ellie are rushed to the hospital. Trey's condition even convinces cold-hearted Connie to stick around and look after the welfare of her son. With family and friends gathered around, the question becomes: who survives?

Maxie is distraught at the tragic news that she has miscarried. She needs to tell Dante and Lulu the truth -- and even Spinelli -- but it's obviously hard for her. And with Spinelli not realizing that Ellie's been in a car accident, both he and Maxie end up in a vulnerable place together.

All this, plus Patrick and Sabrina's close moment gets rudely interrupted by Britt ... who is not kidding around about seducing Patrick. And Johnny and Todd end up getting thrown in jail ... together.

About the Todd's secrets coming out threatening to destroy Tarly. Pity the fool
who lies to Carly.

Anna/Luke/Duke
Pretty much that Luke has a chance because he wasn't picking on poor Duke and
was right and Duke reminds her of Faison.

Sam
As time passes it is less likely she will find Jason. What will her interaction
with John be? Will she have a moment of closure about Jason.

John
He is focusing on his job and making a stable life for himself for the custody
stuff. There will be lots of police work in 2013 so he will be very busy.

The Quest for ELQ
AJ wants not only to restore his name but have a place to work with Michael and
bond with him. Stakes are high for AJ/Tracy. Pickle Lila will come up again.
Lucy has a pivotal vote...so AJ/Tracy will be courting her.

The Nurse's Ball
Lucy ties into it. Still not sure of funding. The ball being in honor of Robin
will naturally draw Pat and Sabrina together and keep each other in the same
orbit. Britt sees the NB as an obstacle for a HEA with Patrick. She perceives
Sabrina and the ball to be her enemy. Patrick is fond of Sabrina, and so is
Emma...but who knows if he can ever see her as anything more.

Robin
There are lingering unanswered questions about what Faison was up to in
Switzerland. RC thinks it's important to keep that alive as they head toward the
NB that is in a lot of ways...all about Robin.

Steve/Olivia
No bumps in their relationship. Olivia still having visions. Her relationship
with Kate/Connie will become important.

Connie/Kate/Sonny
Connie is going to become more well rounded and a deeper character and have a
deeper relationship with Sonny...even though she has treated him like her enemy.
Sonny changed his tactic with her and now she gets flustered around him. Sonny
trying to get Kate back will change his relationship with Connie.

Alexis/Shawn
Shawn will continue to be Sonny's new BFF in helping with the Kate stuff. Alexis
will be involved in a lot of things. She has a lot of lawyer stuff.

Elizabeth
RC talking about AJ/Liz and them both needing redemption. Their Jason connection
bonds them. He thinks they are an interesting pair because of those things. He's
interested to see where this relationship may go. RC also says that Monica asks
Liz to be AJ's friend & he sees them as an interesting pair because they both
want redemption.

Michael/Starr
RC thinks they are sweet together. He wants to throw obstacles at them and not a
person between them...but never say never to that. They have enough going on
with their three dads.

Lulu/Dante/Maxie/Spin/Ellie
RC doesn't want to give away the events of NY's...Maxie's pregnancy is going
full steam ahead. It will have it's complications and it's highs and lows and
Spin and Ellie will be a part of the story.

Kristina
She thinks she's going to start a new life in CA and that doesn't happen. She
will be starting a new life in PC.

Story about surrogacy
Maxie being pregnant is Lante's Christmas miracle. RC talks about the dog
visions and that it's giving a sense of foreboding. How the pressure is on Maxie
not to screw up like she has in the past. The vision of the dog is foreshadowing
that there could be a problem in that area. Lante are looking forward to
celebrating NYE and the baby on the way...but there is a sense that something
will go wrong and that will come to a head on NYE.[/quote]

In the Jan. 7th issue of Soap Opera Digest it features an article entitled
"Johnny Comes Clean on GH."

Johnny as Connie's hostage finally comes to an end when he confesses to Starr
that it was he, not Connie that blew out Anthony's tires and caused the death of
her daughter and boyfriend.

Starts by saying: Connie speeding away with Johnny in the trunk of her car
swerves to avoid a stranded Ellie and end up crashing into a rock. Connie
scared, flees the crash, and leaves Johnny in the trunk. She is not aware there
was a second car which Trey and Kristina was passengers. Connie slips and is
left dangling from a cliff screaming for help. Meanwhile, Starr and Michael
discover Connie's car and wonder where she went. They find Johnny in the trunk
and free him. Starr then hears screaming and realizes its Connie. Starr kneeling
down over Connie's dangling body asks her why she should help her. It may be
better for everyone if she slipped and died. The moment of truth comes when
Johnny finds them and sees that Connie is about to die. He tells Starr that
Connie did not cause Hope and Cole's deaths and admits it was him. Johnny
ultimately helps Connie up over the ledge and pow and Starr smacks him and it's
on!

By week's end Ellie's fate is considered and that of another young PC resident
whom the crash may prove deadly.
