Morning GGs,

Up early enjoying another day that God has blessed me with!!!!!

Kels- I still am not in track but my average wakeup time is around 5:00 a.m. Not what I want but beats the heck outta 2:00 a.m. I'm not seeing or hearing the "New Years Resolutions" that I used to hear so it's definitely not your imagination. I guess that's good in a way because people tend to make resolutions that are unreasonable and end up backtracking to a worse position. I think people are being a little more cautious and reasonable. Not sure. Maybe the years are just going so fast that they did kinda merge together.

My son is here for the weekend with their father. I've been cooking and we've been eating. Food has been GREAT! I'm sure my scale will be slightly above 150 by the end of this weekend. I'm cooking again today (day 3) and we will be watching football games all day. My baby will be leaving me tomorrow morning. I will start working out then. For now, I'm enjoying the company and worrying about working out and my weight later.

Well all, bout to start getting ready for my group meeting with God. I love going to church!!!

I pray everyone has had a wonderful weekend and an every better week.

I made it through 2012 fighting to get under 150#s

I came into 2013 with that goal met!

Now, I will make it my goal to stay under 150# and get tone and defined. I think that is a reasonable goal.

that sounds pretty reasonable on your goals.

Now, tell me, is it just me or do other feel like 2012 just sorta blended into 2013?

I don't feel that usual feel of this surge of people recommitting to becoming active for another year. At least not here. I'm sure there are a number of people of on the "message boards" that are new and motivated for 2013, but I'm not getting the "returns" I was hoping to see.

I did 5.15 miles today. Just happy to get it in. Loving my new shoes... I don't know if I told everyone, but I bought new shoes, because my feet were telling me I needed shoes that cost more than $20. Truly, you get what you pay for. Now my feet are happy and so is the rest of my body!!! LOL

I see, I'm not a pet owner either... who needs the added responsibilities? But I prefer dogs over cats any day.

Hello again GGS,

Ikirs - You rule!!! Really. I wish I had half your workout motivation. I"d be moving and shaking some things.

So I decided not to try and lose anymore weight. I'm being sensible about my weight. Most people who have known me for a while notice my weight loss and say I don't need to lose anymore weight that I'm getting "too skinny" or that I look good the way I am. I also have to include the fact that I will be having extractions in a couple weeks and will more than likely lose a couple pounds and I will have oral surgery in the near future (maybe 6 months) and will lose another 20-25 pounds.

I will concentrate on maintaining my weight between 147 and 150, toning and improving my run time and push ups for my fitness test in March. I'm only a few pounds from my goal weight. Wow...it seems like I would never be saying those words :) I will keep you all posted on how things are progressing. I'm looking forward to reading your stories and getting motivation from you all.

Kels, glad you are feeling better.

Well, yesterday, the weather was so nice, I decided to venture to the park. I did a total of 4 miles. I split it up so that I jogged one mile on each route. Since I was unfamiliar with the route, I walked first. It was good to know that I could do it. I still want to one day be a consistent runner. In addition to that 4 miles, I went to body sculpt. I was so tired but went anyway because my workout partner was showing up so I couldn't let her down, especially since I miss last week. Hopefully, I can get another walk in before today or at least on the treadmill.

Me - Still trying to get adjusted to U.S. time. Glad to be home. I worked out at home yesterday morning and burned 1015 cal. Feeling a little sore from yesterday's workout. Will workout again tomorrow. Taking a break today to get things situated at home. I'll keep trying to do better on posting.

Kels, feel better!

I hope all is going well with everyone. I went to core yoga yesterday and kickboxing. I needed the good stretch because on Sunday, I decided to add extra weights for a challenge. Surprisingly, I wasn't sore which probably means that was a good thing and perhaps I am not challenging myself enough with that class. Core yoga was no joke. She worked every part of the body for that class. It was interesting because those lil youngins in there thought this chick didn't have any flexibility. lol It was a little challenging but I do realize that I really need to work on my core. Kickboxing is never a joke so you know she worked up full body.

I hope everyone else is getting their groove on!

GG's 4 Life, let's do something, regardless of team challenges, life challenges and errythang else, let's get some serious goals this year. Not just close, not just attempts, but actually get to our goals.

Glad to see you all back! I'm just starting slipping back in too. Lol

Kels, if you order off tv, for sure it comes with a recipe book. It even gives you a guide for which smoothies for different body functions. I'm still trying to get used to mine by making it a daily habit. Slowly but surely.

I went to body pump today. I decided it was time to increase weights, so I will definitely be doing a rub down tonight because kickboxing is tomorrow. I was also thinking about doing a walk/ jog tomorrow since the weather is so nice.

Okay ladies, let's keep goal getting!

Sorry that I have been MIA recently. I have been super busy lately and my laptop is starting to overheat and shut down often. Seems to be a reported problem with the Toshiba Satellites and of course, I am looking for a replacement.

Hey, ladies!!!

It's almost midnight and I"m just getting in from a church social. We call it gym night. Everyone just plays board games or sports... things for all ages.

I just ran around the court. Glad I got to burn some calories.
