I pray everyone is in great mental and physical health.
GTF - Way to go on the weight loss. Great goals for the holiday season. I need to adopt those as my goals as well.
Rosie - Great to hear from you and even better to know that you and little Ella are doing well (hope I got her name right). You are doing so well getting back into running. I really wish I was a runner but I just would rather walk :)
I gained a few pounds since being in Germany and gained a few more over the holiday. I helped my friend bake cookies and of course I helped my mouth eat them. I payed for that dearly when I looked at the scale and it real 157+ pounds two weeks ago. Anyway, I committed to eating better and weighed in today at....DRUM ROLL....150.4 pounds. Now if I can keep doing what I'm doing I only have 5.5#s to go to meet my goal. I will do it! Hopefully by the new year. Anyway, I don't want to weigh a pound under 145 because I'm having oral surgery in the near future and will lose 20-25 pounds as a result. Can't be looking like a stick person...LOL
Well GGs, I'm praying for the rest of your day to be wonderful. God Bless!
I have a completely new set of challenges in my life. I'm now heavier than I've ever been. I'm determined to kick butt and meet my goals to get back to where I used to be. It's now on and popping!

How is everyone? Sorry I've been MIA. It's the end of the semester here, so between grading and taking care of the baby and our household I've had my hands full.
Proud to report that I'm down another pound. I have about 10 more to lose to get closer to my pre-baby weight though if I can get to 160, I'll be really happy about that. Hopefully, training for another half-marathon will help me take the weight off. I got into the Nike Women's HM in DC this April and will be running with some friends.
As for the holidays, we're headed to Cleveland. It's exciting to celebrate Ella's first Christmas with my family, especially my nephew who is 3 months younger than her. Two babies for the holidays is double the fun , cuteness, and chaos!
Hope you are all well, Rosie

I hope you're all doing very very well. Can you believe that next week is Christmas! Do you all have any special plans or goings on for Christmas? We don't have anything in particular or out of the ordinary planned. My goal is to not give all of my money to manufacturers and to not overeat.
Other than that, I can happily say that I've lost 3 of the however many pounds that I had gained. I blocked the total number out of my head, but 3 of them are gone!
On my way to cook Sunday din din, GG's. God bless.
