Goal 1 -- I want to lose those last 30(ish) pounds and reach my Goal Weight. I've lost about 55 pounds so far, but I don't currently own a scale, so I'm not sure how many I really have left to lose...
Goal 2 -- Buy a scale! Once they go on clearance sale!
Goal 3 -- Find a good preschool for my 3 year-old son who has a speech delay. He was going to school in Arizona, but we decided to move back to Massachusetts in December for better work (and school) opportunities.
Goal 4 -- Find a part-time teaching job. My husband is working nights in a sheet metal factory, so I'd like to find a school that would need me weekday mornings. And if they could also enroll my son in a different classroom, that would take care of Goal 3 as well!!
Goal 5 -- Make healthy food choices. Cook more at home. Only go out to eat (or get take-out) ONCE a week.
Goal 6 -- Exercise!! Well, duh!! Right now the plan is to alternate a little cardio with a little strength training -- every other day!
Goal 7 -- Take time for ME. Be nice to ME. Buy myself flowers (after I meet Goal 4! lol)

My goals for the year are to exercise daily with the option of taking Sundays off, to drink enough water every day, and to eat foods that are good for me; i.e. limit the junk. In addition, I have resolved to be better organized, get my piano tuned and PLAY it, and get my filly Gypsy trained so she can do something besides look cute in the pasture.
Be brave enough to live creatively; the creative place is a place where no one else has ever been. You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of intuition. You can't get there by bus, only hard work, risking, and by not quite knowing what you're doing. What you will discover will be wonderful : Yourself!
My goals for 2012 are to be more consistent with my walking, and to do strength exercises at least 2 times per week. And to lose 20 pounds. As far as frugality, I expect this to be an expensive year because I need to get things done around my house. But my goal is not to waste money, especially not waste food. In January I'm going to use up food on hand as much as possible.
My goals: Long Term: Be able to improve my endurance level to what it was in January, 2011. Lose the better than 20# that I gained in 2011.
January Goal: ~Walk the dog around the block once a day to start - progress to walking around 2 blocks by the end of the month. This grandma is looking forward to being able to push a baby stroller around the neighborhood this coming August. ~Resume at least one YMCA class. There are now 4 to choose from Even if I only tolerate 15". Too soon for me to go back to water aerobics - perhaps in February, 2012. Hope to progress to at least 5 hours a week at the YMCA by April.

My resolution for the new year is that I will NOT get married or divorced next year. (I don't generally make resolutions because I don't like setting myself up to fail, but I think that I'll be able to keep this one.) On the other hand, my plan for the new year is to finish getting my back injury fixed up with my chiropractor and then start going to Curves. I'm hoping to be able to start exercising and get off of this weight loss plateau that I've been stuck on.

Resolutions visit curves at least four tines a week walk more , sort my diet out and stick to it. We have started a salad garden so resolve to use it all up also go through the kitchen cupboards and use every thing not out of date and make sure I dont let this happen in the new year.
Goal of 2011 was to learn the Gluten Free lifestyle for my own battle with fibromyalgia and for the confidence of my grown daughter diagnosis with celiac and severe allergy to airborne wheat. That has been accomplished with wonderful Christmas celebration with Daughter in her totally gluten free home.
New year's goal for me will be to learn to reduce carbohydrates in my diet. Now to find a frugal way to maiintain these two complicated diets and maintain good nutrition and weight loss!!!
Other main goal will be to simplify living, especially in the area of book-keeping after being in business for 28 years I am retired and no more schedule C forms to worry about for taxes so the office time should decrease tremendously - also a lot of "USE IT UP-WEAR IT OUT-MAKE IT DO!" and just not purchase new stuff!
