Some baby items are cheaper to make from scraps of fabric.
Diapers - I would have to wonder if they are not cheaper to buy ready made. I have never seen a pattern. The fabric might be hard to come by.
Better Homes & Gardens has all kinds of crafts & some childrens items.
I have made fabric purses with the pattern from online free websites.
They should have baby quilts. They are great to use for "tummy time".
Keep in mind that new mothers are now being discourage from using blankets & bumper-pads on infants.
