It's just a free website with on-line applications for people to use for budgeting and things like that.
They don't offer personal financial advice, but they do have a library of articles.

Everyone:
It's a good idea to look at CNet.com to see what free applications they have for downloading.
CNet.com is a great place for safe downloads and information on all types of computer "things."
They even have their own "TV" programs -- hosted videos about computer updates and the latest innovations.
It's a good site to bookmark.

GOOD MORNING!

I'VE NEVER HEARD OF THIS WEB SITE. I HAVE BEEN HEARING/READING THAT COME OF THESE DEPT HELPERS ARE A RIP OFF. AND I DON'T SEE WHERE BANKRUPTCY REALLY HELPS IN THE LONG RUN. ONE OF MY FRIENDS KIDS WENT BANKRUPT LAST YEAR & IS ALREADY BACK IN ABOVE THEIR HEADS. ONLY THIS TIME THEY'VE DRUG MY FRIEND IN OVER HER HEAD BY HER "HELPING" THEM OUT SO MUCH. (COURSE THE D-I-L'S HABIT OF BUYING COACH PURSES HASN'T HELPED!) SHE TELLS ME EVERYDAY HOW SHE DOESN'T KNOW WHAT THEY'LL DO. I TOLD HER THAT I'D LEARNED THE HARD WAY THAT YOU CAN'T HELP SOMEONE WHO WON'T HELP THEIR SELVES! AND, YES, I'VE BEEN TOLD I'M COLD BUT I GOT US IN OVER OUR HEADS BY "HELPING" MY MOTHER /DAUGHTER. THEY KEPT SAYING THEY'D PAY ME BACK BUT NEVER DID SO I TOLD THEM I COULDN'T "HELP" ANY MORE. SURE THEY GOT MAD BUT SO DID DH (STEP-DAD). AND YOU KNOW WHAT? THEY MADE IT ALRIGHT WITHOUT ME. IN FACT, THEY DO BETTER THAN I DO! MY MOTHER JUST NEVER UNDERSTOOD (SHE'S GONE NOW) WHY I WANTED TO LIVE THE SIMPLE LIFE & DO "WITHOUT". BUT REALLY, WHEN IT COMES RIGHT DOWN TO IT I JUST DON'T NEED ALL THE THINGS I MIGHT "WANT". MY GRANDMOTHER USED TO SAY YOU'D REACH A POINT IN LIFE WHERE YOU DON'T OWN THINGS - THEY OWN YOU. It has free budgeting tools, some of which seem to be worthwhile (I just took a quick look at them last week or so).
I signed up for the e-mail articles, too, but I think they're too basic for most of the people on this team -- the ones I've gotten so far seem to be for people who have never given a thought to budgeting their money.

Has anyone checked out Learnvest??? There was a link on their site for manilla blog an online organizing site. I thought it sounded kinda cool. I couldnt find the charge though, so I bet its pretty high. Anyone know??
