Chatty! So FUN! I was in Sandpoint a few weeks ago and saw a poster for the bridge swim. I haven't been swimming AT ALL this summer, but I used to and think it sounds super cool! You guys are all awesome!
And LLEEINIA, I have a love/hate relationship with hotel treadmills. I use the living daylights out of them for half the month, but I have never really loved treadmills. They always get me going a little faster, though! Because I figure just another .1mph won't kill me...
As for me, I'm going to have to say my big achievement for the past week was an awesome shopping trip with my mom and sister where I got some much needed jeans and some new workout clothes and 2 awesome pairs of boots (totally unnecessary but since my mom sprung for the clothes, I figured it was okay to splurge on myself...)
I participated in a garage sale with my neighbor. Which means I identified a lot of stuff that could be donated, & I hauled it to Good Will. Then I identified a lot of stuff to sell, sold what I could at the garage sale, and then sorted the remainder into keep or donate. (The keep pile was minimal.)
I also put the old dishwasher up on freecycle, & it went to its new home on Sunday. Yay! My goal is to be able to park my car in the garage when the rainy season starts.

I swam the Long Bridge in Sandpoint, ID. It is a 1.76 mile open water swim. I was one of about 1,000 who started and one of how ever many actually finished it. Last year a couple hundred did not finish. Don't know the official result for this year.
I did not use a salt shaker all week long and I mostly stayed within my sodium range because I didn't eat any processed foods last week. I ate mostly salads all week long....and I did NOT buy ice cream when I was at the grocery.
My best achievement was actually going to the fitness room in the hotel I was staying in and walk/run on the treadmill for 45 minutes. I always have good intentions, but this is the first time I've done it. In the process I shamed my 2 friends into at least getting in the pool.

My best achievement: I believe I have decreased my sedentary time by 1-2 hours per day. I have been parking at least a block away from most of my destinations. sometimes farther. I get at least 2 blocks of walking in that I would not have done otherwise.
