I've been able to walk most days this week and ever busy with trying to keep kids busy and OUTSIDE. My eating hasn't been grand and quite honestly I've had an alcoholic beverage most nights to unwind mentally from kid talk, screaming, discipline.
I've been asked to be in my SIL wedding and I was sent a link to dresses yesterday. This should be a huge motivator. You see my twin SIL are both size zeros. One is getting married and the other and I are the only attendants. Talk about standing up there and "one of these things aren't like the other" pictures!!!
Finally, I don't know what's up with my beloved Quickfire team. So I'll post a Quickfire challenge here each day. Maybe that will keep me on track. Hope you will join me. I'm going to take an easy on today since I'm logging in from my phone and I don't feel like finding a link to an exercise.
Today's challenge - 100 Jumping Jacks. Generally you do 4 sets of 25 or 5 sets of 20 spaced throughout the day to rev up your metabolism!!!
Hope you are all well
Here is what the Falls of Ohio website describes it as...
Located on the banks of the Ohio River in Clarksville, Indiana at I-65, exit 0, is the Falls of the Ohio State Park. The 390-million-year-old fossil beds are among the largest, naturally exposed, Devonian fossil beds in the world. The park features a spectacular Interpretive Center overlooking the fossil beds containing an exhibit gallery and video presentation. The Interpretive Center is open year round, except Thanksgiving and Christmas day.
The "Falls" was originally a series of rapids allowing the Ohio River to drop 26 feet over a distance of two and a half miles. This was the only navigational hazard over the 981 mile-length river formed by rock outcrops. Today much of the original falls have been flooded behind the McAlpine dam.
It is a pretty cool place to explore.
The girls have girl scout camp this weekend and one of my buddies from our DMB crew has a b day party on Saturday. Looking forward to that!
