I took two walks today, the first was by myself I went 2.19 miles, later when my husband came home We walked 1.74 miles, so I almost walked 4 miles today. probably will be sore tomorrow but I had a great time. I love walking

1.41 miles in Bogota (at 8000+ feet). Felt like I was crawling at 2.9 mph, but decided to take it slowly because last time I exercised here I almost threw up. Altitude is a bear!

I have been inactive with this team and I am sorry.. I have been walking on the treadmill all Winter and even bumped it up a notch by downloading this walking coaching app on my phone Love, love , love it.. it really has trained me into be a better power walker,
I even used it this past weekend when I did the American Heart Run/Walk 5k because you can change the settings for out side walking or running.. which I do a little bit of both but really it is more a jog.. LOl

So I am back and plan on putting more miles on.. and getting the rest of the weight off.
just one Question do you have any team challenges going on? I would love to join in.

Thanks, off to the gym and treadmill it is kind of raining out so no out side walking..

Yesterday was a rough day. We had severe thunderstorms and it knocked out all of our power for 12 hours. They finally got it back up and running at 2am this morning. Had to use our camping stove to cook by last night and kerosene lamps for lights. Thankfully it didn't last any longer than it did. Today it's nice out although still a little windy. We drove around earlier to see what damage the area had. Here it wasn't too bad.

Hi again everyone! I haven't walked in awhile, and today I only did one mile, but hey...better than nothing! I would have gone further, but forgot to eat breakfast, so got a little nauseous. I'm going for my normal two tomorrow.
