I eat breakfast twice.

8:45-9:15am, Total Raisin Bran, 1/2 cup of milk, and 1 boiled egg. Or I'll switch out the cereal for a bowl of oatmeal...homemade with 1/2 milk 1/2water, cinnamon and Stevia for sweetness.

11:15am Homemade smoothie (1 banana, 1 cup of frozen berries, 1/2 milk, 1/2 water, and Stevia for sweetness), and 1 boiled egg

Wow, I saw my previous post and I immediately tracked when that happened, I usually eat succulet food during the weekend...eggs, bread and tons of fruits are in my weekend breakfasts, for the week, - because in a hurry to get out before 5:45am I only have 4 oz of coffee just to get my vitamins and medicines down, a large glass of water and my belVita biscuits.

I have 2 slices of Raisin Bread lightly toasted with Peanut Butter, and cup of Earl Grey tea with a bit of sugar. (i have to get all my cals in and its tough...plus i have to start with protein to help) :) I'm such a dang picky eater too...bleh!

I usually mix it up between one of these four:

-2T peanut butter on whole wheat toast with fruit
-3 or 6 egg white omelet with Swiss, peppers and onions and a bit of hot sauce, wheat toast with a little butter and fruit
-1/2 cup oatmeal, 1 cup 1% milk, 1/2 cup blueberries, 1T ground flaxseed and a bit of honey for a touch of sweetness
-A piece of my toasted homemade pita stuffed with my jalapeńo cilantro hummus and 3 egg whites with fruit; I sometimes throw in an ounce or two of turkey if I'll be working out hard (this is probably my favorite breakfast)

The night before, I combine 1/2 cup plain, nonfat yogurt with 1/2 old fashioned oats and stir in 1/2 cup seasonal fruit (like strawberries). I let it sit in the fridge overnight and the next morning, bam I have "muesli." (usually runs me about 250 calories) Sometimes I'll also have a boiled egg, too, to up the protein and add some fat.

I usually eat oatmeal with a piece of fruit , protein drink or smoothie. On the weekends I eat eggs with whole wheat pancakes and bacon. If I am feeling lazy then it Some flavor of cheerios with fruit and low fat milk, yogurt with fruit.

I eat twice:

apple or pear and tea or lemon water at about 5:30am (about 60)

steak bites, veggie and cheese eggs, and fried potato thingy (about 250-300 calories)
OR
protein shake with almond milk and frozen fruit (about 250 calories)

depends on if I have time to cook or not.

I love breakfast! Sunday I have pancakes or crepes with lotsa fruit (about 350 calories) but my recipe is high protein and tastes like angel food cake so it's worth every bite!

One of my favorites (tasty and filling) is a multigrain waffle topped with a cut up banana, tbsp of maple agave syrup, and cinnamon with a cup of 100% cranberry juice.

When I have time, I make glorious breakfast sandwiches made with cinnamon bagel things (100 cal), one poached egg, 3 slices of lunch meat, and a light laughing cow cheese wedge with a cup of juice. Delicious!

I've been trying to eat less sugar, especially at breakfast, so I have been reading labels more often. I found a couple of brands of oatmeal that are low in sugar and high in fiber, so I have been trying to eat that for breakfast on most days. Plus, it is really filling! So I usually eat oatmeal (prepared w/hot water, not milk) or boiled eggs.
