First, here is a great pre-exercise, as suggested by Teresa Tapp
http://www.t-tapp.com/articles/flatstoma
ch/index.html

From the bottom of this thread, posted by POLY-E:

How to track T-Tapp in the SP Fitness Tracker: T-Tapp isn't listed as an exercise by SP, so you have to add it by yourself:

Go to the Fitness Tracker
Click the button: Add Cardio
Click the link (in red writing) "Manually Enter Calories Burned"
In the window "Activity Description" write your exercise: BW+, TWO, Instructional #2, etc,
In the windows under "How Much" you enter your minutes and calories *)
Check off the box "Add this Exercise to My Favorites" and the system will remember the exercise for future use (but not the calories).

Now you will find T-Tapp in the Fitness Tracker:
Click Add Cardio
Choose the section, Favorites
Click on the arrow and a scroll bar appears
Here you'll find your personally entered T-Tapp exercise.

*) HOW MANY CALORIES DOES T-TAPP BURN?
Well, that depends on your weight and fitness level. But in general as a rule of thumb we say that Basic Workout Plus burns app the same as 15 minutes Low Impact General Aerobics: 140 calories.

Here are some links to the T-Tapp forum where they discuss calories and T-Tapp:

For comparison:
Height: 172 cm (5'7'')
Weight: 85 kg (187 lbs)
BMI: 28.73
Fitness Level: Average, maybe a little less

Hoe Downs: 2 minutes; 14 calories
Advanced Hoe Downs: 1 minute; 8 calories
Basic Workout+: 14 minutes; 103 calories
Basic Workout+ Tempo: 18 minutes; 120 calories
"Instructional #2 To Tempo" (second half of TWO starting with Lunges) 30 minutes; 200 calories
Total Workout: 50 minutes; 350 calories

I don't know what to suggest, but was wondering if calling T-Tapp would give you any info that would help. I agree, that logging the T-Tapp stuff is a challenge.

I don't have a heart rate monitor, so I've been counting my 20 mins MORE workout as Pilates, since it's somewhat similar. Atho... I can log Pilates on my SP phone app, but not here on the site tracker. What's up with that? I even tried yoga, but they only have a listing for power yoga. I hope the database gets expanded.

I wondering how this team works...can anyone help me out?
I don't use a HRT monitor when I T-Tapp...but I'll do that today...it won't tell me how many calories, though.

My HRM seems pretty dead-on with everything else, and it told me I burned 605 calories during TWO. It all varies depending on your age, weight, muscle mass, fitness level, and muscle activation (keeping it all tight, KLT, tuck, etc!) during the workout

Mine is the one that has the watch and a strap around the chest. I like it better than just the watch (I have both) because you start the stopwatch (timer), and it just keeps track of your stats as you work out. The watch only heart rate monitor is not as convenient because you have to essentially stop your exercise periodically and place your fingers on the sensors in order for it to track your pulse (or heart rate). The strap monitors the heart rate the whole time without stopping your workout.

Hope this helps.

Mine has you input your weight, a maximum heart rate that I should do (based on age and general health), and a lower heart rate for exercise. It calculate how many minutes I work with in my optimal range, how many above, and how many below. It also has a stop watch associated with it so that I can time the workout. I find it interesting to see how many calories I burn and if I am working hard enough or not. I still haven't done Step Away the Inches, but that is on my list. I'll report back when I do that.

I have a heart rate monitor, and I finally put new batteries in it so that I could use it again. I wore it the other day when I did BWO+. It read that I burned about 133 calories. The earlier estimates of 140 seem quite reasonable. I'm sure it varies according to fitness level, weight, form, etc. I'm still relatively new at T-Tapp, and I'm not sure that I have perfected my form, yet.

Hope this helps those who asked about tracking the workout. I'll have to try SATI next.

GAETS - Interesting question.
I must admit I have no idea. I've only done SATI once or twice and that was a long time ago.

Maybe someone here tried wearing a heart rate monitor while doing SATI or has an idea?
Anyone...?

I agree!

When I do single target workouts like Flat Abs, Awesome Legs, etc. I count them as strength training.

When tracking your fitness I understand the cardio part of tapping and getting a heart monitor for true calories burned.

I also think it should be recorded for strength training since I'm using it instead of weights and such. What are others doing? Are you only counting this as cardio? Or are others using this for cardio and doing strength training as suggested on this site?

Do you have a heart rate monitor? If YES, then I suggest you try wearing it during your T-Tapp exercise, and share the result with the rest of the team.

Of course it depends on your BMI and fitness level how many calories you burn, but if we post that information as well, it will be possible for others to find a member matching their own size, shape, and workout to guesstimate how many calories to log in the fitness tracker.

Did that make any sense...?

How to track T-Tapp in the SP Fitness Tracker:

T-Tapp isn't listed as an exercise by SP, so you have to add it by yourself:
