Been outside a lot the last couple of days and it is cold. I have been in snow removal mode the last couple of days and it was good to go inside because my hands were so cold. I would change my gloves to warm ones and go back out but those zero temperatures would get through the lined gloves no matter what..
What is everyone else doing during this great wintery weather? BR BR BRBRBRBR
Good morning all! On this beautiful Tuesday morning I was up a bit late (5:00 instead of 4:30 a.m.) but I still got 55 fitness minutes accomplished before 6:30 a.m.
We had dug up some hosta Sunday and we divided the root system and made two plants and replanted it on Tuesday. We shook out the roots and put some new potting soil in the ground and gave the plants a new start in a new area. They should do well in their new home.
Good morning on this beautiful Sunday morning. We are back home again. We enjoy gardening and look forward to working with the soil. My winter rye which was planted last October is getting quite high and the first thing we must do is rototill it to turn all that nitrogen into good humus soil. I have started 24 tomato plants last month which are getting quite large and they will go into our garden.
We also planted 50 garlic cloves last October and they look like corn stalks now. Quite healthy looking plants.
