Well, good news....I'm 1/4 through New Moon already. (I couldn't resist) And, my boyfriend just figured out how to print Midnight Sun, so I'll start that tonight. Woo-hoo!

But, I'm dying to know where the heck Edward is and why he's left for so long and if Bella is going to fall for Jacob and, and, and...........

I agree. I read Midnight Sun shortly after finishing Twilight and it made a few things more clear. Edward has a tendency to come off obsessed or controlling, but after you read his side you see that he is conflicted and concerned.

I wish I had read Midnight Sun after reading Twilight because I always wanted to know what Edward was thinking and in the other books you can't really tell (he edits too, just like he accuses Bella of doing!!!). So that's my vote, but, it's up to you! Either way you do it, you will love him, I mean, them, the books! Never mind me, I'm just obsessed with Edward (the one in my head, not the one on screen!) LOL

Yeah I think if you read MS while Twilight is still fresh in your thoughts you will get so much more insight into it and enjoy MS so much better.Thats the way I did it and really enjoyed it, but like everyone else said either way you go you cant go wrong.

Yeah, if you save it for the end, you'll re-read the series again and gain that much more from it. I pick up new stuff every time I read it. So, really, go either way and you won't be disappointed. But I still vote for MS now!

I agree as well! I like the insight she gives from Edward's/the Cullen's point of view in Midnight Sun. It gives you just enough before it cuts off.

I think there's no wrong way to do it. Either read it now to see where he's coming from, or save it for the end as a treat.

I would agree and it won't take you that long to finish...wish I would have done that...even though it leaves you hanging.

I'm sure you are prepared for New Moon...I wasn't and had a hard time getting into it at first. emoticon

Well, my best friend said the same thing, but I've heard others say not to do that. So, I'm torn.

This is just me...but I think you should read Midnight Sun first, you'll have better insight on Edwards frame of mind...but others may say that's not how Stephenie designed the series...so really i guess I'm no help!!

Now, do I continue with New Moon or beginning of Midnight Sun? Which do you recommend?
