I too just found out yesterday I am pregnant. I am SOOOOOOOO tired I cant stand it. The worst part is for some reason I can not remember when my last period was. The Holidays were hectic and I just remember my period was short and sweet. I started wondering if I was pregnant last weekend when my everyday chores seemed to be sucking the life out of me. I had no motivation no energy I knew something was up with my stomach but I couldn't figure out what. Heartburn, a little sick to my stomach but not bad. I would make a plate of food then soon as I tasted it I no longer wanted it. Figured something was up so I took two tests yesterday. The second one was because I actually fell asleep waiting for the first one and missed the results!!! Now that's tired! I couldn't wait two minutes!

i'm new to this team and was actually gg thru the link reading abt others preggie journey.

i'm currently in my 9th weeks.

how was ur pregnant journey so far?
i believe tat you've delivered? since i saw ur profile pic?

is tat ur baby, yusuf? he's sooo adorable. ;)

AWWW 5 Wks!!! Awesome! So how did your doc appt go? Did they do a U/S? You do have alot going on now huh? well take it easy. I was soooo tired the first Trimester. I layed on the couch alot! and slept and had NO energy. It got to the point where I had energy one day then the next I had none.. So don't worry, it is just all your body parts inside of your belly moving all around to make room for baby! It is amazing what happens to our bodies! Soon your stomach will be moved to up under your left boob. Yep.. And talk to me then about Ashadoo! ( that means upset stomach in Italian)... I was lucky because I didn't get sick. Still haven't. I sometimes get sick if I start coughing too hard .. but no nausea like most people. Thank God. Anyway.. Oh yeah.. I didn't exercise in the first trimester either. I was REALLY tired. If you can then that is great, just don't overdue it. I have heard so many people losing their baby with too much Cardio and stuff.. And with this being my first I took it WAY Easy... I worked out before alot , but I am not chancing a miscarriage. Sometimes people can lose babies at 35 wks??? So Really just be careful. Listen to your body. This is a time to eat and nourish the BABY. Forget about your weight, you will get more energy later and you will also be able to work it off later. Crackers are great for upset tummies. Good Luck! Thanks! and thank you for all the tips! According to the day my last cycle started, I should be at the end of 5 weeks....my first doctor's appt. is tomorrow and I am a bit nervous about that! I have a HUGE list of questions for her!
Plus, I am moving to another state (virginia) in a month, so I will have to find a new doctor there plus I got a new job--Assistant Principal at a private school--whoa! Lots of changes! I am wondering when to tell the new job that I am preggo--I mean, by the time school starts back next September, it will be quite obvious. and all this on top of defending my dissertation proposal on Tuesday--whew!
So, I have a LOT on my plate--I have been super nauseous lately--and TIRED--the exercise helps the tiredness, but the nausea is making it hard to eat as healthy as I was--I somehow don't want to eat the huge salads I made--or anything really, except crackers and yogurt--go figure! and, weirdly, everything smells like FISH--uggh! emoticon

I know what you mean! I am still sooooo Nervous and I am going to be 24 wks soon! I just felt her kick yesterday, so that was a REALLY exciting day. We are more than halfway there now. Thanks God.

Just don't do too many strenuouse exercises , if you like exercising. I couldn't in my first trimester. I was mostly a couch potato. LOL......but in the second trimester I have felt better , but I still only work out like 1-2 times a week for an hour. I am doing ok. Drinking water is the hardest for me. I have started to put Fresh lemons in my water to make it better with 1 sweetner (blue).. mmmm makes it taste better.

So how far are you now? Did you goto the doc yet? Wait till you get your first Ultrasound U/S.. It will be Amazing!!!! We had ours at 7 wks! I framed it and gave one to my mom and we have one too....It is amazing!!!

Hello team! I am soooo glad I found this group...I just found out I was pregnant yesterday! I don't have any kids yet--this is my first pregnancy. My husband and I decided to start trying for a baby but I had no idea I would get pregnant so quickly--so it was quite a surprise. I am super happy, yet really nervous as I have no idea what to do. First doctor's appt. on Thursday so that should help.
I am moving to another state in a few weeks plus finishing my doctoral dissertation proposal, so there is a lot going on! WOW! emoticon
