It is fine with me too if it is just you and me! I love chatting with anyone but over the years you and I have become great friends I feel!!
It would sure be great if someday I could win the lottery. I would come to see you!!!
Things are pretty much the same here.
My note before my last note on here tells about my starting to crochet and I am really enjoying that. I only do it when I am up at the Care Home but that is most everyday and I usually stay around five hours. I get lots of crochet time in!!
It has been very relaxing for me as well as fun because many of the residents love to come by and see how far along I have gotten. Then they love using them when they are done.
It has been very rewarding. I am taking pictures of them when I am done. www.flickr.com/photos/neelojtsl/sets/72157
I am working on number four afghan now and the home plans to have a raffle for it to get money for the activities dept.
The gallery here in town, where I had my photos for sale, sold their building and have closed the store. So I am "out of business" for now. But I haven't been taking many photos lately. I will get back into it one of these days.
And I am doing good about holding my weight at about the same. In other words not adding more, but not doing well at all with losing.
My heart just isn't in it right now. But I not going to give up!!
The first week of Sept. it will be a year that DH has been in the Care Home.
It sure doesn't seem like that long. I feel like I am only now beginning to adjust to the last two years. People use to always tell me to "just take a day at a time". I would tell them it is more like an "hour at a time". But now I think I can handle a week at a time! So it is getting better.
I am putting DH on Medicaid next month so maybe I can get my budget stabilized. It is hard to live on one income. When we retired a few years ago it cut our income in half. Now putting DH on Medicaid it has cut my income in half again!! Crazy world!! LOL
My son and family and my sister and her family all seem to be doing great so that is a blessing! And my life has had many blessing too! The lord is taking care of me!
So great to have you back to spout off to!!! LOL
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense.
