Thank You for your prayers and concern. I think the situation is over now. Yes I have 2 dogs, and they thought it was early Chrismas, because they never come in the house.

My husband sort the situation out with this kid, and I believe we will not see him again. We have a lot of black workers who worked for years by us. They told me I don't have to worry about a thing no more, they will make sure this kid will be teached a lession.

They promise me they will not hurt him, but if he is going to make another move towards our house, the deal stands no more.

Now I feel sorry for this kid. But I believe he will be smart enough not to come back.

My goodness SNIP that is scary, perhaps you shouldn't wait for your husband but call the police. Do you have a dog? If you do, make sure you keep it in the house with you. Maybe you could go stay with a friend until your husband gets back, don't take any chances, this guy sounds creepy.

Stay safe girl. I'll be praying for you.

Tangy I'm so glad you are ok. I now something like that is bad no matter if it is small or big.

I have this thing too, I hired a blackman, to work in my garden. He is very young must be 18 to 20. So I was very glad and impress with him because he is really bright.

After a short nap I went to the kitchen and here he sits. In my house..

Long story short.. He turnout to be a big problem for exampel he had called me this morning 2 am. Just laughing at me.

Hopefully tomorow when my husbands is back he will sort this man out. I am really scared to go to sleep for the first time in my life.

Oh please you can keep that 1kg with love or give it away, I will not mind, hahaha

Congrats on the loss SNIP, but don't worry I think I found it. You can have it back anytime. emoticon

I had a rough day yesterday too. Mostly emotional eating. I was in a car accident yesterday (minor) but it really shook me up, and I found that I could not stop eating. I was so full that by the time I went to bed I thought I was going to be sick. I'm telling you it was bad, the food just kept going and going and going but it definitely was not helping. I don't even want to know how many calories I ate!! emoticon .

But back on track today and feeling much better. Hope your team friend stops by.

Hi

Yes Tangy I agree. The thing is I think most of us have the same problems. I took to one of our team members yesterday and she is really having a bad time, but still trying to have a positive attitude. She decide to start rewarding herself, and I could not really answer her, because my answer was similar to yours.

I invite her to this discussion forum and told her I will ask the ? maybe she will get a few ideas.

Anyway I have a bad night last night, so I'm a bit irretated, Oh I hope the kids know there steps today to stay away. Maybe I will take a nap a bit later...

Have a good Thursday everyone

I have to agree with Sparklinjewells, I was supposed to reward myself when I made my 10,000 steps the first time, and never got around to it. It felt great doing it though and that was a reward in itself. My hubby was real happy for me too because he knew it was important and congratulated me. It made me glad he noticed.

What I see alot of SP doing is setting goals and assigning a reward to it when they meet it. I guess the real question is how may actually follow through with it - and does it actually motivate them.

hmmm.....perhaps a discussion for the message boards SNIP.

i really don't??

hate to say it, but there's nothing "concrete" that'll help me, if i really want something, i'll get it

if it's something i want, but couldn't, or shouldn't, afford, then i shouldn't do it anyways cuz it'll hurt me

it takes a while, but my best rewards have been- smaller sizes, people noticing, not getting so tired shoveling.....feeling more confident, etc

so i don't do the tangible reward thing

sorry

i guess maybe the major haircut at 100 lbs gone? yes and no, i finally had the confidence, and desire, to look like i was taking better care of myself...and i did it before i hit my goal, cuz i wanted it, and felt ready

so i guess that's not a good example either

Hi

Sorry for I was gone for a whole week, internet problems...

Oh yes this month, I already feel like eating and do nothing at all, but yes like you said, I think it's a good idea to just keep the weight were I am and that will be a victory for me too.

I think in this month we really do need each other, because just for you two positive attitudes it, lift my spirit to.

So good luck and lets do this, its only one month..

i hope that i'm not "settling"

but i've decided that i will be satisfied that jan 1st i'm at the weight i am today-- cuz i know this month will be up and down- granted, i'd still love to lose....but, realistically, it's a rough month- so if i can work ahead and make up for the bad days, i think i can stay the same.......which would be a huge first!!

And so it begins,Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa and then the New Year. One holiday just flows right into the next. We have the office parties, and the friends' parties and of course family get togethers. How will we ever get through all this without destroying everything we worked so hard to acheive these last few months.

I for one plan on staying on track as much as possible this month. I can't say that I won't indulge, but I will definetly say no to over indulgence!! I will track everything and commit myself to increasing my exercise minutes for the rest of this month.

What is your plan for surviving the holidays?
