emoticonemoticon Reece great job the next will come as well

Today I got my cardio in while waiting for Tyson at the groomer this morning I put the time to good use (as I didnt want ot waste gas driving back and forth) I walked for 1 hour did a 13 minute mile so I did good today and I feel great I'm hoping tonight I will treat myself to that new bicycle but I'm having trouble letting go of that much money at this time I deserve I good reward for my work this past year and hiting goal but I reallydon't want to spend that kind of money I know I am being silly here but things are tight.

Hope all is having a great day

I have finally lost my first 10 lbs. I'm so super excited! I still owe myself a massage for honestly tracking my calories through the whole month of April, so I think I'm going to add a pedicure on to my 'treatments'! LOL I just have to wait until softball is over next weekend so I can schedule my fun!
My next round of pictures are next week and like always I'm nervous and super excited to see the changes again.
I can hardly wait to extend my ticker another 25lbs! COMMON 225!!!!

Hi everyone

Oh I also am sick, I've got flue over the weekend...

I will take it this week off and hopefully Monday I will ok and ready for some more workouts.

Linda WOW I simple don't have words... Excilent!!! Now it's your job to keep us others go... Only joking.. but really you show us the way.

I forgot your name, the one with Winnie Poo pic, I also start slow. I just stick to my plan. I decide to go walking, and long ago and far away I did Tae kwon do. So I start with 5 different kicks, doing only one of each the first week.

My husband laugh at me when he heard my workout plan. At first it did not matter how many I did, but did I do it... I want some momentem. And it work...

Every week I put 5 kick on the week before. Soon I walk my 3 miles easy. I started to feel like joking, so I jok 3 steps and walk 20.

My point is every week I work harder than the week before, and when it is time to go for a workout, I have to enjoy.

At first I work so hard with nothing to show, but I keep on going. I'm not sure how long it takes before I could feel some changes in my clothes. So one day I decide to weigh in and I was 5kg off. After that I rest for a time and still I was falling off with no workouts at all.

I lot another 4kg, and then I decide now its time to workout. I'm ready and I want to do this.

So start smalllll but stick to it, make it every week just a bit more, and dont stop, keep on going believe me, if I can do it, you too can.

Ok sorry it was a loooonnnnnng reply again. Sorry everyone. I just so excited about my lost and it is nice to share it with somebody.

Sleep tide every one

Great Job Linda and Mary! Linda!!!!!! YOU'RE AT YOUR GOAL!!!! YAY!!!!! Also, 1 year is a huge deal! I can't even imagine!

Mary...you're right, slow and balanced will get you farther because you'll be able to stick with it instead of bursts with long rest periods.

I hope you all had a wonderful and beautiful weekend! Mine was packed with lots of travel and fun! I posted some of the pics from our trip to Stuttgart, I'll post the pics from Triberg hopefully tomorrow.

Thanks so much Linda and Reece. I got sick. I ended up with two weeks off. I was almost up to 3 miles in my walk but I admit it was taking a toll. Too fast, too soon. After I recouped, my first walk was 1 mile. That was all I could do. But, believe it or not it was a good thing. After I went home to pout (lol) I talked to some friends. I remembered some forgotten long hard lessons about my body and how I react to exercise. Now, after I get into the routine of this new job, I will approach exercise in a more balanced way for me. Slowly!

Thanks you guys for your encouragement. I am not giving up. No way. I am in this literally for life!

I cheer Snip also for not giving up! I do remember you. It has been a while. And welcome back!

Hey guys! I hope your long weekend is starting off great! We went on a day trip to Stuttgart Germany and it was fun! I have some great pictures that I'll post hopefully later today.
I'm hoping to take one more day trip to a town in the Black Forest to browse through all the shops at the cuckoo clocks and take a small hike through the forest! What a great way to add activity into the weekend!

Hi everyone

Most of you may not remember me. I just start SP and I was so excited. I started with you guys. I was still looking around the site, you know getting to know everything about SP. I fall totally in love with this site.

Every email I got I printed it for me and put in on a wall for me. Thank for that because just as I was get going our internet start giving us problems.

So with the basics I decide to get going with SP even if we have not internet. Why tried to get it back on but then its money problems or what ever. Its like something don't want me to carry on with SP.

But I take the information I already have print for me and work with that. I did not weight in at all, I thought is was a SP thing. If I weigh in I want to put it on SP.

So once I was by a friend with internet. She tells me that I have a lot of weight. I told her I don't want to weigh in because it is a SP thing for me.

So she drag me to her scale and with a big suprise I lost 5kg, I think it is about 10p. I was so sad not to put in on SP, but my friend let me use her PC.

After that I was so excited and feeling so good. But I decide to rest a while.

After like a months rest, I drag myself up again. It was so hard to start again, I will never rest so long again.

My son and I started to play squash. I love that game, but to play with my son full of energy is very hard work.

Monday morning I went to the loo and I just jump on the scale with all my cloths on. I lost another 2kg.

My husband was so glad for me and ask what is my secret. I told him SP. I just follow what I have learn in that few weeks.

So to serport me he went and get us new internet. He put it on yesterday.

So I jumped on the scale again and take my cm, and weight in like it is suppose to work. I have lost another 2kg.

I stand now on -9kg. And the best of all I'm back to stay...

Sorry for this long reply but I just want to share it with you guys. I missed you all so very much..

I did my own version of a 5k today. I walked 6.7 miles around the campground at one time and did it in 1 hour 49 min. I thought that was a pretty good time for my fist time.

Hello hello hello ladies! How are you all this week? The babies fever broke last night and he slept so much better!
It looks like our awesome weather streak may be over for a few days. That's okay, I'm welcoming the cooler breeze.
My ears are still all clogged and when I watch tv I feel like I have to have it up way higher than it should be!
I started the swimsuit bootcamp this week. These videos are amazing! They're challenging, but they're short.
Thanks Linda for looking out for me!!! I used to have a weimeriner that if I went farther than he wanted to go....he would just find a nice shady lawn and make himself comfy! People used to come out of their houses and laugh with me about it! =) I miss him so much!

Good afternoon all hope your day is going well I spent the morning doing errands now I have the laundry going and I had to clean up the closets here they were a complete mess couldn't find a thing I still have to hit the kitchen cabinets. Seems I work hard on my days off from work (LOL)

Tonight looks like I'll have to go out and purchase a new window AC unit for the living rooms not blowing very cold air and spitting water out at me Oh well that my life

Haven't gotten any exercise in yet tried walking Tyson this morning but he was more interested in tracking then exercising I'll try tonight to get a walk in with him hopefully he will cooperate he can be so stubborn and if he doesn't want to move you ain't getting him to move

Catch you all later

Glad to see you back, mqt4u2, and congratulations on the streak.

I hit a bit of a milestone the other night.

Around 9:30pm I had the urge to snack on something. It persisted even though I tried to ignore it. Suddenly a thought raced through my mind along the lines of, "are you really hungry or are you just bored?" I discovered that it wasn't hunger at all and that I was sleepy. So I went to bed and was fine. No hunger pangs or waking up in the middle of the night.

What a wake up call for me. I can only wonder how many calories I've managed to save just by going to bed on time!

well back on track after a big binge (thurs - sat)I just couldn't help myself. I feel hungry all the time. I drink 8-10 glasses of water per day and eat between 1500- 1800 cal per day and last week I just could not control myself (I did have a visit from aunt flo)but that has not effected me like that before.

I am not going to beat myself up over any weight gain this week, I will just up the cardio.

I did get depressed when I noticed that the fat under(on the back) of my arms was gone and now I just have flapping skin and to much for my liking. So I think that started my downward spiral to which I managed to pull myself out of in a few days, now I have added arm exercises 3 days per week and hopefully I can stay with it. Strength training is not a particular favorite of mine and I will think of anything else to do instead of it. Sad, very Sad but true even laundry or cleaning the house is better than the strength training.

HOW EXCITING! Having a healthy boss is going to be a God-send! Your grandkids are going to keep LOVING the time with you as well!
My 3yo is already on my case today that we need to take a walk. =) I'm trying to get all of our Army Loaner Furniture in one place in the house so they can be in and out ASAP tomorrow morning! I'm sad that it has to go, but it will give me room so I can go furniture shopping for myself! woohoo! Too bad my economy stimulus money will be spent on the German Economy. DOH!

I have a great new boss! I didn't even tell her about the Friday walk. She goes swimming for exercise and asked ME if we could knock off early to get her exercise time in!!! WooHoo! Friday walks with the grandkids are back on!

I'm really going to enjoy this new job!

How is the new job going Mary?

About the snacks, my daughters snacks stay in a different cabinet than I keep my healthier snacks. I also bought a bag of M&M's that have little snack sized servings. Some how I've managed to stay out of them...which is uncharacteristic for me, but a good thing! =)
Every time I go for a snack I ask myself how this snack is going to help my protein for the day. This seems to help MOST days for me.

My fever is finally gone! Sick is no way to spend Mothers Day! =) My head is still stuffy, but at least I can function!
My weight didn't go down this week, but my waist and hip measurements did! WOOHOO!
I need to buy some heavier dumbbells because I'm not getting sore anymore after working out! YAY!

Wow, pukihi, your daughter has will power. I have to keep it out of the house because I will eat it if I see it. This comes from my history of preferring sweets over real meals. Hopefully this is temporary.

Sorry CK,
I know what you mean. I have tackled that in some areas. I lowered my shelves in the fridge. The kids snacks are on the bottom in the back. Out of sight, out of my reach. Basically, out of mind.

My daughter started this trend. She bought chocolate for herself and put it on the bottom shelf in a bag. Believe it or not, she would get one out, lay it by her computer and NOT eat it! She said she just felt good knowing she COULD if she wanted to! Well, it started a good trend in our household even though she is gone and moved on. Thanks honey!

WooHoo! Last week my numbers were up! Way up.. But, this week when I weighed I lost it all plus some. The down side of that is I am still sick. I am afraid it is my precious muscle mass that I am losing. Aaaugh!

When I get back into the groove of things, I am going to have to drop my numbers. Less walking, less weights. I HATE setbacks. They feel so defeating.

Well I have the weight to cheer over. And, I start a new job tomorrow! Yippee! (sick)

Bev...you're one of my hero's! =)
I am right with ya on the bladder issues, it got bad after my daughter was born and luckily didn't get any worse after my son. When I play sports or anything with running or jumping I have to wear a pad because of minor leaking. The Dr. said it's just weak muscles. So I'm right there with ya LingOL! =)

I think this fall I'm going to get a stationary or maybe splurge on a spinning bike to help me get through the winter....THEY'RE WAY TOO LONG HERE!!!
I have to recommend Jillian Michaels for circuit training if you decide to go that route. She sets them up perfectly and in her book 'Winning By Losing' she slowly progresses you through 12 weeks of circuits. I start week 5 tomorrow!!!!! WOOHOO!!! If I were to just get into my exercise room and knock out the circuits they would take me no longer than 30 minutes to complete....but dealing with kid issues...aka crying, being hungry...haha it takes me a good 40 minutes to do them.

Reece good luck with the jogging, I wish I could but after 2 kids (13 years ago) and not exercising after for 11 years my bladder will not permit me to jog.lol(or should I be crying,no definitly lol)

I have been enjoying my stationary bike alot more and need to get some different exercise, maybe classes and definitly circuit training into my schedule. I find the cardio so much easier to fit into my schedule and also easier to do.

It was definately a busy week, but I made it through and all is settling down again. I bought a used double jogging stroller out of the paper today and I can hardly wait to use it!!! I think I'm going to put the kids in it tomorrow and see if a path I'm thinking of will make a good place to start...dare I say the word....JOGGING! OMG I said it! Here goes! LOL I'm going to investigate the couch to 5k program to see if maybe I can be jogging my first 5k WAY BEFORE March 09! We'll see..........

I hope everyone is having as beautiful of a weekend as we are here! I thrive in the sun....which is why I think I should move to the northern area of Arizona somewhere when my hubby retires! I still have 8 years to dream of that though! LOL

RAINE04-It smells SOOOOO yummy! Light and citruisy! (think I may have just made up a word..LOL) I'm REALLY hoping that they create a laundry soap or additive!
Cleaning the dogs beds and blankets would so nice with this stuff!

Bev- WAY TO GO!!!

Mary- YOU CAN DO IT!!! Getting enough sleep can definately be a hard thing! I have to make myself go to bed within an hour of the kids so I'm not exhausted the next day!

This week is going so far so GREAT!!! hehe We won our softball game last night! My husband came to watch me coach! (He never even came to watch me play!!! So it's a BIG deal to me!) We have practice tonight and another game on Saturday. I'm starting to think that coaching is more exhausting physically and mentally than playing was! I'm no longer just thinking about 'ok....what do I do when.....' Now it's taking time with EVERY girl to make sure she has a great time and learns the fundamentals to the best of our coaching abilities!

My 6 month old decided this week to try out scooting along the floor and decided he liked it! *sigh* Now he's mobile and BOY AM I IN TROUBLE!!!

I'm still getting in my circuits and my tae bo on the days that I'm supposed to, and I'm very excited that I'm able to do softball, workout, the kids, the house, the yard.....LOL The list could go on! Working out like I have been sure has upped the energy output I have!!!!

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S MAY ALREADY!!!!!! I started this journey two months ago and I knew time would fly but WOW!!! Most of all I can't believe I'm still working out even though my weight hasn't dropped, I'm NOT DISCOURAGED!!! I'm still tracking my calories and water every day!!! I think I have gotten to a point that even if the weight never drops like I want it to, what I'm doing for myself and my family to be strong and healthy is and will always be worth the effort involved!!!!

I'm heading to the Dr. on May 13th so I can get my hormones and thyroid checked to see if that may be holding my progress back.

I hope you all are having a great week....and wow, I guess I should have written a blog...THANKS FOR READING...if you still are! LOL

Been out of the loop a bit and was not able to do my cardio last week. I did maintain my wieght and measurements (yay) just by watching what I ate. Good thing I have been getting better at that. Looks like everyone is doing a great job!! Keep it up!!!!

Geeze, I lost you guys. I couldn't find the thread we were on. lol (unsuccessful brain surgery!)

Nice to see you all again! I have set a stiff month for myself. I took pictures today. I didn't really gain or lose this month. I want to lose 10 pounds next month. So I have new goals:

Walk EVERY DAY at least 2 na half miles.
I have a new video. 10 min weights. I want to do 10 min upper body along with my 10 min core 3x a week.
And believe it or not the hardest goal of all is making myself get at least 7 hour of sleep EVERY night. I am keeping a journal of my week with me to track my progress. Well, cheers you guys. Hope all your goals are successful.

Someone told me it's good to have a cheat day every once in a while, so I guess the Whopper isn't too bad as long as you don't eat it every day?

I had some nachos from Taco Bell the other day and almost spit them out because they tasted so salty. I guess my body has gotten used to me cooking at home so the fast food tastes salty now. (It didn't before.)

I saw Green Works at the store and thought about buying it, but I didn't know anyone who has tried it. Does it have a pleasant smell? I don't use bleach anymore because the smell was too overpowering for me and I kept getting headaches. I'm willing to try it if it's that good.

Hey everyone! Our girls healthy night 'in' went great last night! I went over on calories and fat, but that is mostly because I decided to take the easy way out at lunch yesterday and got a whopper! GRRRR OH WELL!

Thought I'd let you all know in case you don't already, Clorox has come out with a green line called green works and it's AMAZING! I'm going a little overboard on the cleaning today, but I just can't seem to stop myself....I want everything to sparkle and smell like this stuff!

Bev, I always had a hard time with time management for a couple weeks after a college semester was over! It will all adjust, give it a little time to decompress.

Sorry I wasn't around all week...my internet went out Tues morning and we didn't get a repair man out here until Friday evening.

Friday I completed 5K #3 this spring and my walking buddy and I shaved off 17 minutes from our first one on March 15th!!! WE'RE COMING A LONG WAY!!!
Saturday was the girls second softball game. They didn't win this one, but still played an awesome game! The other team had some wonderful skills with their fielding that just squashed almost every hit our girls got.

This week is going to be busy and I have to make sure I schedule time for my circuits into it! I HAVE TO COME FIRST!!!
Monday-bowling and girls healthy night 'in' =)
Tuesday-softball practice
Wednesday-softball game
Thursday-softball practice
Saturday-softball game

well I weighted in on wednesday and gained 1.1 lbs and wasn't to discouraged untill thursday came and I had a very stressful day with the kids home for school spring vaca so we went to go camping for a long weekend and I ended up eating chinese food and ice cream for supper and then for breakfast friday. I didn't do any exercise on thursday so I told myself it was my rest day and then on friday only got in 1.3 mile walk. Still telling myself it is ok though and will be back in the game tomorrow with a whole new plan, I am still adjusting to not working 2 jobs now for past week and 1/2 so my schedule you would think has freed up alot but all I have wanted to do is nothing, but I am staying positive and will get back to it.

That sounds like a healthy attitude. It's a lifetime of committment we are making to ourselves.

I had G-daughter day out on Saturday. She woke up to cartoons. While she watched them I got in an extra day of cardio along with my upper body strength. Then it was girl shopping, lunch, and "Nim's Island" We had a wonderful day! (I think she liked the shopping a little too much - lol)

HAPPY WONDERFUL MONDAY EVERYONE!!!
Sorry I've been MIA for a few days....on Thurs my cycle started and oh my it kicked my butt!!!! My body is definately still adjusting after having a baby 6 months ago. It's amazing because so many people say that it took 9 months to adjust to being pregnant...count on it taking 9 months to re-adjust to no being pregnant!
So on Thursday I decided to just live my life through the week the best that I could. I didn't do any exercise other than going out to the softball field twice. I was still conscience of my calories. I had a couple of high calorie days in there and just accepted them. Now I'm back to my game!
Yesterday I picked up a friend of mine and we took a drive not really knowing where we were going and not knowing anything about the city we finally decided on. TALK ABOUT THERAPEUTIC!!! We talked about everything, laughed then took my 3yo to a playground and had a blast!
During that time with her I asked for her opinion on my circuit training. We came up with a wonderful solution...since I didn't get the last two days of my circuits or my long cardio I decided to start week 3 of my circuits over again. This way I build up the muscle and endurance to help me move onto the following weeks without feeling overwhelmed!

I woke up this morning ready and wanting to do my circuits...and they're done! Now I'm about to do my cardio so I can shower, worry about dinner and then off to the bowling alley this evening!!! WOOHOO! I LOVE TO BOWL! hehe

Cheers to you Reece. It's a lifetime change. There will always be life to deal with. You did great and didn't sabotage yourself. You did what you could until you were able to work through the stress. That is nothing to beat yourself up over! You are a winner!

I did my cardio/strength. Funny, mostly while I am working out, I do not feel a burn in my muscles. But, I know it's there. I will feel it tomorrow and Sunday!

WooHoo! I feel great. It took a while to get an upper body workout I could live with. My posture is horrible. I am glad to get something that works and that I can live with.

Oh, by the way, I just figured out the workout page. It was aggrevating to each and everyday list my strength exercises. I finally 'discovered' the "repeat" button. Someone said it would take about two months to get completely acquainted with SP. (At the time, I thought it was an exaggeration!) lol

Todays quote was about forgiving yourself, leaving today behind, doing all that you can and moving on to tomorrow.
I've been stressing for the last couple of days. AF came for a visit starting Thursday so I just haven't felt like doing anything....least of all jumping around and exercising! So I didn't do Thurs or Fri's circuits and I've been beating myself up about it in my mind. **I think I just came up with a solution that half solves my delima....If I feel up to it I will go and do the weights part of my circuits and leave the cardio portions for another day.**
I have done pretty well with my eating! I've stayed within my calories so I'm not too worried there.
The best news is that my husband is finally done with his 14 hour mids shifts! Those are always hard!

OH....the softball team walked away from their first game with a 24-0 victory!!! They looked great out there, and I love the team of dad/coaches that I work with! YAY!!

Don't worry too much Linda. I believe our bodies get bored too. It must be just the right time for that change-up. You shouldn't get too much of a shocker on the scales. And cheers to you for jumping right back up!

oo-oo-oo my mouth is watering. . .
I got in my walk today too! 2.3 miles.
With help of grandkids. I did it in 1 hour.
We just added another child to our 5k "marathon"!
I upped my mileage. . .just a teensy. But, little by little. Thanks for all your motivation. It keeps me reaching out!

absolutly beautiful day today, I went to Cape Cod,MA and washed camper and raked 10 bags of pine needles and still not completely done but got alot accomplished while kids were in school. Came home and walked 4 miles on treadmill and now I am completely exhausted. I also love to cook on the grill, that is all we do camping and it does taste better. I will cook peppers and onions on the grill and corn on the cob yummmmmmmmmy

Oh, man, I miss cookouts! I am jealous! But, enjoy yourself, I am also happy for you. Cookouts are some of the best times in my life! Good food, good friends, good memories.

Thanks Bev, I re-read that story and hoped that others would see it as him complimenting me. =)
Let us know how your trip to Cape Cod goes! It sounds exciting!
We had our first BEAUTIFUL day here in over two weeks today! AF decided to pay a visit starting last night so I took some time today while the baby was sleeping and napped on the couch while my 3yo played with her toys. Once I woke up I felt so much better and all of us moved outside for a few hours!
I put together our grill while we were outside and YUMMY YUMMY I grilled steak tonight!!! That grill is going to start seeing some serious use the nicer the weather gets. I think meat tastes the absolute best when cooked on a grill!
I think I'm going to take today off from exercise, I'm just not feeling up to it. After the baby goes to bed I may be able to get something in....we'll see!

Reece what a great compliment from your husband.

Well yesterday I did my circuit and today I could barely walk, the back of my legs and butt absolutly killing me but I managed to get on my bike for 30 min and 14.1 miles.

I also managed to get over my ice cream craving, very strong today but I didn't give in.

I'm going down to Cape Cod tomorrow to open my camper for the season so I should get in some good walking time its supposed to be a beautiful and somewhat warm day.

I forgot to add a story in about my silly hubby today! He's really coming around and supporting me and now he's making jokes about me becoming his 'new wife'. haha

My husband said the funniest thing to me today...he told me that we have to come up with a new name for me. That I need a new first name to go with what's going to be my HOT bod! I couldn't stop laughing! I told him that I'm still going to nag him about the same stuff as always, I'll just be thinner while doing it! HA! He responded with telling me that he tunes most of that out anyway so if he gives me a new name, when he looks over at me while I'm nagging he won't hear me but see his 'new' wife! HAHA

Hi ladies! I reached my 1000 calorie deficit again today! YAY! Softball practice went great! I worked for a full 45 minutes with our two pitchers for Saturday's game! I'm so glad I put in the extra time at the pitching clinics a couple years ago because I was able to teach these girls proper form and function that will carry them through all the years they play softball! YAY!

I hope everyone's week is going wonderfully! Tomorrow is FRIDAY!!! WOOHOO!!! I can't believe it! It was JUST Monday!

Wow Reece,

Way to go. That will be motivational. To fit that dress. Double cheers to you. I have been looking for a dress to motivate me for some time now. To have, touch and hold! Again Double cheers to you. You can do it!

Alrighty! It's 11pm here and I've now officially finished my circuits concluding my workouts for the day! WOOHOO!!!
I've been listening to Jillian Michael's Sunday talk show time...SHE'S AMAZING!!! I found it more motivational to keep her talk radio on while I worked out than music. She says over and over again the key ingredients to weight loss are....
1)a heart rate monitor that also counts calories
2)a set of measuring cups
3)a food scale.
So now it's ON! I've been researching the heart rate monitors and food scales tonight. I'll probably decide and buy them tomorrow once I've slept on all the research running through my head. I have the measuring cups, but need to start using them again...imagine that haha.
Time to go shower and off to bed! I have a big day planned with my girlfriends tomorrow! We're all heading downtown for some fun and window shopping!

OH WOW BEV!!! GREAT JOB!!!! I am going to check out your food log because whatever it is you're doing is working SOOOO WELL!!! I need to start taking lessons from you!

Okay so I did something that I've been planning on doing since April 1st but couldn't bring myself to do it!!!! I ORDERED THE DRESS FOR MY HS REUNION!!! A picture of it is on my page! I checked out the size charts and getting it in a size wouldn't work because my bust would have to lose 7 inches....I don't see that happening in the next few months, SOOOOO I ordered it in a size 18, but I will either exchange it or return it if I find I can't alter it at all! I can't believe I finally ordered the thing! It makes all of this so much more real!!!!

lost another 2.9 lbs this week, up to 14.6 since joining this group and SP on 3/5

I'm back, I was sick over the weekend (I think allergies or a spring cold)and then work very busy last few days of tax season.

I did my circuit today 30 min and yes my legs and butt feel like jello, I will walk later either at the track or on treadmill depending on when I have to pick up my daughter from her away high school tennis match

Reece sorry about your weather, we have had a nice few days in a row now (Massachusetts)but could be alittle warmer for my liking.

HELLO EVERYONE!!! It's early afternoon Wed here and my day has started off pretty well. I got 45 minutes of cardio in this morning before my 3yo woke up, so now all I need to get in are my circuits for the day! I'll be waiting until my hubby goes to work later for that!
Oh goodness...I just happened to look out my window and it's hailing...AGAIN! This weather is so not conducive for outside activity with small children! GRRRR hehe

OKAY!!!! I did my circuits!!!! *check* My computer had a serious malfunction and wouldn't play my dvd's for my cardio...oh well...and I made it through my first softball practice helping out 9-12 year old girls! IT WAS AMAZING!
The coach has daughters that have played, but he has never played himself or coached so we're all going to learn together! It is kind-of difficult though because I've played softball for 17 years on and off. *more on with a few breaks for injuries and having kids haha* So talking to girls that don't know the terminology or what covering or lining up is can be difficult....we'll get there. Practice is again on Thursday and their first game is on Saturday!!! I'm so excited! I have a lot of reading to do between now and then!

Sorry bout that.

Baby's sickness is just a little bump, not a wrench. You are doing great! Did you read today's qotd? It reminds me of you!

I looked for it. I cannot find it. It talked about giving it your all and looking back. If you do not give it your all you look back with regret on your not living up to potential. When you give it your all, you look back with pride on your success. I see you giving your all. Stay with us! You are an inspiration!!!

I hope the people that aren't posting as often are sticking with it!
That's great that you have your mom working out too Mary! I'm thinking about checking out the video's. Especially the little 10 minute ones. I think it'd be a great way to just get a little extra in a few days a week!
My week is starting off slower on the exercise front than I'd like. Usually Mondays are bowling days but my 3yo started throwing up in the car on the way there, so we turned around and high-tailed back to the house. Needless to say I sat on the couch with her most of the day and didn't exercise or even cook...geesh! She seems to be feeling a ton better today but I'm still keeping her in the house today.

During the babies next nap in about an hour I'm going to get my circuits in then cross my fingers that softball practice won't be canceled tonight!

Is it just me or are our huddler numbers dwindling? I went online for some more workout videos today. I have mom working out (age 72). I found some videos for her and a couple of more for me. I tend to get bored. I have no flexibility and got a few stretching routines. I have to go the PO now and pick up a new video. C-U O

Welcome back Teresa! I hope you are able to become more involved, we have a wonderful team here!

I've heard that maintaining is harder than losing Linda. You'll get it down! You're still new in the maintaining zone, we've all stumbled with the losing, your bound to stumble around a little trying to maintain. Let us know if we can do ANYTHING to help!
