I hate to say but the only thing that helped me with the afternoon sleepies was totally cutting out gluten...

I try to make it to Curves in the morning and when I do, it helps me make it through the day with more energy.

Have you tried eating a light snack or a piece of fruit? I know it is hard when you work. Maybe some desk exersizes. I hope you feel better soon.

Well, once again...it's hard to do some of these things when you're chained to a desk all day. I've got a bacterial infection right now and I've been taking Cipro. Last night was my last dose so I'm hoping that I'll start having a little more energy.

I think this afternoon around 2:00, I'll just take a break and grab my hard hat and take a short walk thru the plant. See if that helps a little....

I take a walk in the morning and it helps. If I don't , I feel tired between 2 and 3.

I "get" to stay at home, so I've incorporated a morning nap recently, and it does help me with that afternoon drag but I do realize that not everyone gets to stay home. Maybe that link will help out?

For the past 2 weeks, I've been experiencing the afternoon blahs. Around 1:30 or 2:00 pm I get so sleepy and tired I actually feel sick. It doesn't matter if I have salad and protein or a big fat cheeseburger...the result is the same. Then around 3:00-3:30, I start to feel better and it goes away.

Any clues?
