Riley needs a lot of sleep - about 10 hours a night. We have a "pup tent" - looks like a hoop shaped camping tent - that she gets zipped into every night. If we don't put her in by 8, she gets very antsy. When we say, "Get in your bed", she runs down the hall as fast as she can and jumps in. She gets a little Breath Buster cookie as her good night treat. We drape the front of the tent with a towel (sort of like a parrot), but the back and sides are open mesh. I turn on classical music for her each evening to drift off to sleep with...
During the day, she naps depending on what is going on and how far we've walked. In the warmer months, she is much more active.
"This too shall pass."
