I'm totally new, but I am more than happy to help you lead the team if you want. I am a newly diagnosed prediabetic and vegetarian, so it would be important enough to me to help you keep this group going. Send me a private SparkMail if you want help.
Hi KC, Thanks for the encouragement. I think I will pass for now, however. Victoria has changed her mind again and would like to continue as team leader. I will give her as much support as I can. I just want this site to survive and be useful to all of us. Right now my life is too hectic to spend much time cheerleading. :-)
Hiya, BL! I will encourage and support you in your leadership, but I don't want to co-lead, at least not at this time. I am leader on three teams, two of them brand-new to me and that I took on because they were 'leaderless' - sort of like DV has been. I say, go for it, broaden your horizons, and if you have questions or anything, I will try to help you out or point the way to The Powers That Be who can help.
Give it a shot, hon, what've ya got to lose? :-)

Victoria has emailed me an invitation to be a team leader here. I'm thinking about it. This team is important enough to me to do that. If I do sign up as leader, about the only difference you will see is that I'm actively greeting new members. Most of us have been eating vegan long enough that we know what works for ourselves. I'm certainly only an authority on my own eating, and not very much at that, or I wouldn't be still struggling! I hope you will all continue to let others know what works for you. Anyone else want to sign on as co-leader? I just don't want this team to disappear for lack of a designated leader.

I'm sorry you are leaving us leaderless! You are the 2nd person in a week to resign as leader. I hope we are not that difficult to lead. I just want to go on being successful as a vegan diabetic. I need all the encouragement I can get, and that means knowing someone else out there is trying to do the same. Struggling to meet our diabetic needs through our eating habits is tough and we need to hang tight to accomplish it.
I have had a change of heart about being leader of this team. I have tried to remove myself and was unable to, so I dashed off an email to the help desk. They said I would have to replaced first, then I can remove myself.
I would respectfully request somebody on this team to take over as leader. If nobody is interested my name will remain there dormant until such time as somebody wants to do it, and after 60 days when a new member joins they will get a message saying that I have been dormant and do they want to apply.
Perhaps somebody who has been a team member for a while would like to take over.
