Livenwell, I agree that stretching and strengthening programs work. I do a program called Classical stretch. Last February, my right leg hip flexor was so painful. I had trouble walking after sittting and had trouble climbing stairs. I was miserable. I had been doing this program twice a week, but began to do the program everyday( Sundays off). Within a few weeks my pain diminished. I am so thankful for that program. I do it, faithfully.It's only 22 minutes out of my day. I did it today, along with 20 min. of dancing.

Did my stretch and strengthen video 3 times this week. It's not a lot of calorie burning, but is definitely good for me and a good place to get started on the road back to exercise.
