I hit 129.6 last Friday. Immediately increased my workouts and restarted my weight loss plan. I weighed-in at 126.4 this morning. I swore that I would never see 130s again. Now it's time to get out of my 120s. My birthday is on Aug 7... Would love to lose 10 pounds by then.

This month the scale saw every number from 135-126.8, it just goes up and down, up and down. It is getting very frustrating. I am swimming 3 times a week, playing hockey 1-2 times a week, and up until last week running 2-4 times a week. I am very active. I just can't seem to be consistent with the good eating.

hey all ,

I am new to this team and weighing 129.6 lb since 2 weeks. I wanted to post something when I am atealst 128 lbs but it is just not happening. anybody with same issue ?

I had completely forgot about the "Hi Rise Apts" and what an inspiration they are to reach another "floor". I am going to give this a try for a couple of weeks. It worked in the past. Kind of a personal incentive. SO, here I am on the 7th floor and wanting to GO DOWN! Here we go!

Hello everyone, I think I'm ready to get a temporary place in here the 120vill apartments. I have been sitting comfortably at 129 for the last three or four mornings straight. I would be ecstatic to get to 128 this week, as it means I am at a healthy weight.

I started the week on the right foot No progress on the scale yet but, Right now I am working on trying to get my calories under control & working out everyday even if it's just a little. So far so good so, something has got to happen sooner or later.

You will get here. I have learned that slow & steady is much more gratifying than fast and crazy. That pounds stay gone better when you take it slow. It's a hard concept to grasp but I'm coming to terms with it. It has only taken me 2.5 years!!! LOL;))

UGH! I HATE MYSELF RIGHT NOW!!! I know it's not cool to come and say negative stuff but sometimes ya gotta let go of some stuff! Tomorrow is a new week so hopefully I can get it together and get things back under control.

Ok! I've had it with the extra poundage! Tomorrow I'm "starting fresh". Not deleting anything but I won't be looking back! It's a new week and another chance to get it right. I'm not going to be focusing on the scale as much as what I'm putting in my mouth compared with the amount of exercise I do. If I eat it I have to work for it!!!! IT'S NOT THAT HARD! I know what I'm capable of and don't like myself much right now! I am going to have a productive week and am looking forward to the fresh start! emoticon emoticon

HELLO,

Well Halloween week is almost over and as expected, I BLEW IT! I had 5 mounds gone for the month of October till the last day and have been climbing ever since. I'm taking with a grain of salt. I look at it as a learning experience. Every time I lose and gain like this I learn something new about how my body works. Store bought candy, black licorice aside is a NO NO!!! Powdered sugar and cocoa is fine even with mini pretzels for dipping. A Snickers bar UHUH!!! So live & learn it's not always a bad thing. Besides I'm still better off than I was a year ago. I couldn't run @ 7 mph for 2 min. I could barely manage 4 mph for 1 min. SO IT OK! The weight came & it will go. I just have to be stronger and make better choices!

Y'all have a fun healthy weekend. Or if you need it take some me time!;)) That's ok too, once in a while.

Last week was interesting. Monday, I stayed home as I wasn't feeling well. That lingered into Tuesday, though I went to work. Wed & Fri I ran... both times were good runs, though I overdid it a bit on Friday such that my right foot was sore. It's still a little sore so I'm taking today off, too.

Fun weekend, with my husband's birthday on Saturday and a Halloween party with coworkers. Yesterday was a recovery day.

Leaving early this morning (and the rest of the week) to carpool with my husband who has to be at work at 6am. Yikes! emoticon

Maintenance is a mindset, just like the weight loss. I just haven't found my setting yet!! emoticon

Friday I wasn't feeling very well. My coworkers went for Mexican and I bailed on them. I think the one gal wasn't happy with me since she didn't talk to me for the rest of the day. That was a bummer.

This weekend has been pretty good though. I picked up our fruits and veggies from the co-op on Saturday morning, then a few other things at a local oriental market. A couple short trips to the grocery store netted the ingredients for some yummy veggie burritos last night (with enough leftover for my lunch today), and sushi for dinner tonight.

I tried to run yesterday, didn't go so well for a couple reasons. Walking was okay though with the veggie prep and cooking, I overdid things. Today I spent most of the morning gardening (finally planted my hostas... hope they survive) and cleaning around the house. emoticon Laundry is calling me now... still have a couple loads to get done before I call it a day!

I changed weight ticker today! emoticon Oh wanna make like MSLINDSEY'S so much. In the maintenance mode! I thought I was getting "practice on that whole deal but as my weight gets lower so do the # of cals. I burn. I realized that a long time ago but, it makes bigger difference now. I don't know why. I am just now getting the idea that maintenance IS harder!!!! You think you know something only to find out that ya don't know a thing! emoticon emoticon

Hi there!

I'm so emoticon You're in pain. That's rough. I rarely have that problem. I've been told by Dr.'s to be careful because my pain threshold is dangerously high. Like, I could really hurt myself and not know it. What a weird thing, huh? today was a little different for me.

But, it has been WONDERFUL SO FAR! I slept in.... 11:45AM! I slept from 2-6 STRAIGHT THROUGH! HAD to get up for a min. Slept from 6:30-8:30. HAD to get up. Slept again from 9-11:45! AHHHH! FELT LOVELY! EXCEPT.... I have been really good about doing my floor stuff, STRENGTH. I guess I've been doing it better cuz the times I did wake I was REALLY SORE, painfully so, in my wrists, elbows and neck. Not really the good sore like when you know it's from a good hard workout. It was just painful. But after getting up I was fine and ready to go. But, I'm taking it slow because I'm so close to my goal I don't want to push so hard that I burn out. Like, work, work, work, get to goal burned out and want to sit around only to go right back to where I am now. I would rather hover here and let my body adjust slowly so when 120 does show up it's for more than a day. emoticon , right?! emoticon And plus the emoticon moved emoticon again! emoticon emoticon emoticon 122.2 for me today and that was when I 1st got out of bed! Just like everyone else! Usually have to take my meds and move a little first!!!! I like that A LOT!

You shouldn't feel bad. IF you do have to go just get soup & salad or just salad and TRY to pass on any bread! emoticon emoticon

You're doing so great!!

I have had a pathetic couple of days. High calorie day Wednesday (even though I ran AND walked at lunch, I didn't have a deficit)... then got some back pain that evening after work. Total rest day yesterday, and I ate like crap again!!

I still have some back pain this morning so another easy day, though I do plan on going out for a walk at lunchtime. Might have to be slower and not as far as usual, but I will get out there for a little bit! Also planning a much more focused day of eating... ohhhh I just remembered a coworker wanted me to join her for lunch today. She was invited by a guy coworker, and doesn't want to go alone. ... Is it wrong of me to hope that someone else is going so I can bail? emoticon

At least it's Friday!! This crappy week is almost over, and I WILL finish on a good note!!!

I hear ya on all points except the running 28 minutes! emoticon I was REALLY unmotivated yesterday BUT ended up doing really well! emoticon I took thhe day off from running which I do maybe once or twice a week I didn't used to but I think it's because my intensity is so much higher than it was 11 months ago!

I just did my floor stuff with & W/O weights. I ended up burning 350 calories through those exercises & ended with a total deficit of 645! emoticon I did more than I had planned and felt so much better about 20 minutes into it all. The best thing was when I got on the scale this morning it said 124.4. BUT! That's not my official weigh-in yet because of my meds and stuff. I had to get up at a weird time for me cuz doggie had a DR.'S appt. It was so cold too!

Intervals are better anyway. Especially if you're really pushing it, HIIT kick a$$. Right now, I'd rather jog for half an hour (well, 28 minutes... very close) than sprint for a minute. After I finish this C25K, I'll start doing intervals again to increase my speeds.

I did the shred workout again last night as planned, with the 5# weights. I didn't have much energy or motivation at the beginning, so wasn't really into it. By the end, I was doing great. Then I showered and went straight to bed. emoticon

Gotta grab something to eat this morning, then off for my run. Busy day ahead!

OOH! I tried that one. Way to much lunging and knee stuff for me. It IS a GREAT workout though if you don't have the knee issues!;))

That's awesome. Just keep at it and don't try to get through any part of too fast. I think that's why I fell apart. I pushed it. I have been running now for almost a year and I have even been doing 2 min. at 7 mph for a month. AND, 2 min. is the MAX! I think I'm going to die every time. But then I do my 3 min. walk @ 4 mph & I'm ready to go again. Endurance is NOT my thing! LOL!;))

I only have the 30 Day Shred. Just started it again, so am doing level 1... easy-to-mid difficulty on most exercises. I don't really like the circuit type stuff enough to do it regularly, but it's a nice change of pace occasionally. I do plan to do it again tonight, though!

For C25K, I'm just at a slow jog... somewhere between 5.2 and 5.4 mph is my average pace, a bit above 11 minute miles. Sometimes faster, sometimes slower, but that's almost always what the tracker shows me for the calculation based on distance and time. My goal is to get to 6 mph, 10 minute miles for 30 minutes... then 5 miles in 45 minutes. It'll be a while!

What J.M. DVD did you do? I have some. I love her. She's hard on my knees so I don't do the real cardio anymore but her strength on "Last Chance Workout" is hard enough to count as such so I do. I only do the upper body part. I love that one!

I can't imagine doing that again. What speed are you doing? Just curious. emoticon

I don't do much house cleaning, either... my husband stays home and takes care of most of that. What he doesn't do, usually doesn't get done. I *need* to clean our bathroom though. Probably my son's too... I haven't been in there in ages. emoticon

My biceps have been KILLING me since Sunday. Saturday night I did a Jillian Michaels DVD using 8# db. I think I've recovered sufficiently (meaning I can straighten my arms again) that I should do the DVD again tonight... with the 5# ones this time! I'll also do some Pilates and stretch WELL.

Started week 8 of C25K last night... 28 minutes straight. emoticon

emoticon I hear ya! Not so much with laundry but, cleaning the hose. I could start at one end and by the time I would get to the other doing it MY WAY I would have to turn right around and start from the other again! SO, I just don't do it anymore. I do the necessary stuff but it needs LOTS of help! YUCK! My house isn't dirty just super, super disorganized! I DO KNOW WHERE EVERYTHING IS! Poor DH has to ask where EVERYTHING is! Now it's changing seasons and I have to shuffle clothes back over here from the other house! I need to figure out how to do it in one day and make it my workout! I just get so board doing the same thing for longer than 15-30 min. Maybe I need ADHD meds. HAHAHA!!! There's a drug for everything, huh? Thank goodness I hate meds. I even hate the ones I HAVE to take.

I'm still here! Just had a busy weekend, though I don't feel like I got much done! I did spend the day at my parent's yesterday, after an hour walk in the morning, and when I came home had all my laundry for the week to do. Almost finished it... still have one load of ours, plus all of the boy's... it never ends! emoticon

My weigh-in on Saturday was as I expected... up. I'm not off track, I am right where I am supposed to be right now. I'll focus on getting enough protein and having lots of veggies, a bit of fruit and limit those sweet snacks (which have been creeping back into my diet in a big way). All that and meeting my water intake goals for the day, along with my exercise goals, will send me moving right along! Maybe the scale will even cooperate. We shall see!

Hi,

Seems I'm the only one writing here now but, That's cool. I have decided to forego my nutrition for a while to try to get my calories under control. Really the only thing suffering will be my protein. I know I need it but the calories are just nuts when I try to get enough. I'm SO close now that I really WANT to SEE that 120 pop on the scale. I know I just wrote a BLOG about all the cool stuff happening regardless of the#'s on the scale. It's all true but I still have that NEED to PROVE I CAN DO THIS!

Good for you on the pound! I always think I'm going to go back up when I do what I did yesterday but sometimes the scale decides to be nice to me. It was again today. Went from 125 yesterday to 124.4 today! emoticon emoticon emoticon

So glad things are looking up for you!!

I'm still plugging away. Lost another pound last week, but the way I've been eating this week I will NOT be surprised if I gained that back... and the two I lost the week before. lol I am making progress, even if the scale doesn't show it! For now, that's okay.

Work has been crazy busy for a while and will continue probably through the end of the year. I'm grateful I started walking at lunch BEFORE this insanity hit. It's been wonderful to get out of the office.

Hey, I'm down 2.6 pounds from yesterday! I ate like a piglett & my exercise should have been better so this is all just a guessing game and things happen when & how they happen. As long as I'm exercising and not eating 4 billion calories a day I guess things will be ok. COOL!

This week I WILL lose weight cuz there's no choice. I could sit on my butt & do absolutely nothing and drop about 2 pounds! SO, if I don't THEN I'll worry about it. I'm just really worn out and not in a good mood so see y'all when i find my happy self again!

I AM ABSOLUTELY FIT TO BE TIED TODAY! emoticon emoticon I'm eating too much again BUT I DO THE WORK to GET the 500 differential AND IT DOESN"T seem to matter! I guess 127-130 is going to be my weight! This is too much. I've already eaten 1800+ cals. today, well by the time dinner is over and I'm not going to be done yet!!! YA KNOW WHAT????? I DO NOT CARE ANY MORE! Burning almost 800 cals. a day & gaining weight is NOT fun, realistic or doable on a regular basis! I guess I'll settle for being a little fluffy! Thanks for reading my rant! I'm off to finish what I started in the exercise dept., then stuff some more food in and hopefully sleep a little! Maybe things will look better tomorrow. IDK??? emoticon

I've been doing well, especially with workouts. Doing them, anyway. Still struggling with the running, not sure why exactly. Today was in the workout room at work, on the treadmill, which I hate. I should have put in a movie or brought my music in there with me but I didn't... the time just dragged on. It was also quite warm in there, even with a fan blowing directly on me. I got good and sweaty!

Work has been really busy all week. It kind of comes in spurts, and apparently someone opened up the firehose! It's all good, though. I prefer to be busy, makes the day go by REALLY fast.

No snacks for me tonight... no alcohol or cheesecake!

Hi there,
Just thought I'd come and explain something if anyone is wondering. emoticon My weigh-in today was pound higher than yesterday. There are about 3 reason for the fluctuation. Sleep, meds. & whether or not I have done any exercise yet. I am going to try a different strategy with my weigh-ins this week to see if that will help break the 126 low to another NEW lower low! It's kind of a subconscious thing with me. If I get a quick glance at something it sometimes works it's way into my brain and I change things w/o really thinking about it. I did it with my exercise & cals. too. It did help. Not with both at the same time but one or the other would work so everything came out ok! I fought 130 for almost 2 years!!!! I DO NOT want to do that with these last 6-8 pounds. So that's that! Have a good day and week!

Yeah. For me the sugar is the lesser of 2 evils! The sweets taste better too! emoticon And you don't lose your faculties eating them! emoticon

I do the same thing! Gain about 4-5 during the day or right after I eat! I think just about everyone does!

I gained a pound since yesterday and am going to post it because there is a reason. I didn't sleep which accounts for some of it and then the not sleeping led to eating A LOT! I'll be about 600 cals. behind probably more. I need to stop dilly dallying and get to my floor stuff. I did EXCELLENT on my treadmill today. Yesterday I did 2 min. @ 7 mph 3 times plus other intervals & today I did 2 min. @ 7 mph 6 times plus other intervals.

I don't hate you for that! I truly believe I have a rather healthy view of food, I just didn't care enough about ME to eat lots of healthy food (instead, I ate lots of not so healthy, fattening fast food and candy... oh, and beer). And I rarely listened to my body when it said it was full. I'd just keep eating and drinking, snacks all day almost until I went to bed.

When I focus on eating healthy, getting lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, I find myself getting full... and notice it! Then, while I may *want* the candy or whatever, I know I don't NEED it so don't have it. As much. Cause I still DO have all of it. (Had chocolate last night before bed, in fact.) I simply include it in my daily totals and go on with my day. No beating myself up about enjoying a treat. I don't go overboard as often as I used to... occasionally, sure. But at least I am aware of it now.

ANYway. emoticon I weighed myself the other night. I never weigh at night.... I gained like 4 pounds! Of course, it was right after I ate dinner. emoticon So I weighed myself this morning to make sure that was all it was. Yep, it was. Tomorrow is the official weigh-in day for the Fall Challenge so I'm not recording it til then. Suffice to say, I may be able to increase my calories to match my increased activity. emoticon

OOH! I must have jinks myself cuz our temp. are going to be dropping drastically like by tomorrow we ate going to see about a 15-20* drop! Maybe in the 40's at night!!! Gotta get the winter jammies out & washed! emoticon emoticon

Well as for SP today, I ended up eating 1793 calories! HOLY MOLEY! BUT WAIT! I still worked enough to have a differential of 504!!! That means I burned 719 through exercise! I did Cuz I tracked it! WOW! emoticon It's amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it! I still have to burn 642 Friday & Saturday if I want to actually reach my goal of 4100 calories burned this week. I have everything tracked food wise so far this week but I'm sure things will pop up in the next 2 days! I KNOW they will. My dinner has already changed for Friday! MORE CALORIES ADDED! But that's ok. I holding my weight so if I stay in a plateau I'm fine with that! I know here at SP we're not supposed to use food as an enjoyment tool or whatever but I do! PLEASE don't hate me for saying that! You know why I do it! emoticon emoticon

LOL -- 70... it's 41 now! (Of course, I'm bundled up in a sweatshirt with a 10# dog cuddling in my lap, keeping me warm.)

emoticon Thanks. I did pilates last night again before bed. It's very tough, but not like running. I think I like it! I haven't been running yet... my right foot is feeling better while my left is still hurting. It might actually be those lunchtime walks, very fast and a killer hill! I have to leave early today so no walking at lunch. Maybe the rest will help. Hope so!

Your numbers are still incredible! My differential has been over 500 the past two days, which is more than I am aiming for (but I'll take it... oh yes, I will).

OMG! I would freeze to death! 70* is my limit!

WOW! I AM SO PROUD OF YOU! Biking instead of napping! The doing your exercise last night TOO! You go girl!

I was so far behind when I wrote here yesterday but made up time last night. I ended up doing 15 more tummy mins. than planned too! YAY! My differential came out to be over 600! I think it was 654. I just checked it a min ago but my short term memory is terrible! LOL!;)) I have tons PLANNED for today but we'll see what happens. I have a lot of wiggle room BUT I would like to get it ALL in! I always feel better about myself when I do what what I'm supposed to. emoticon emoticon

Yeah, it's in the 40s in the morning around here, so hot food was welcome. Only got up to mid-60s yesterday, with rain. Today is supposed to be a little warmer with no rain. I should leave a little earlier for work so I can put gas in my bike and ride it again. Been lazy and taking the car.

Due to the rain, we didn't walk at lunch yesterday. Instead, my co-worker napped in her car, while I rode one of the exercise bikes in the workout room for half an hour! Go me! Then last night, I did NOT want to do my ST or any more cardio. After being on here for a bit, I was motivated to do both. emoticon

I'm having a slow day. I might get to it soon I have till 6PM to do my tread work so I need to get off my butt and stop procrastinating here playing around! LOL;)) I do that all too often. I had some grown up stuff to take care of today and it put a crimp in my schedule but I think I'll come out ok! I don't want to have to keep up the pace I have been exercise wise. I don't see how it can be good for my joints and stuff. But as long as I keep putting food in my pie hole I have to! HAHAHA! I'm so funny!

Well, I didn't ride the bike like I said I might... I did watch Netflix, though I did so from the comfort of my bed. emoticon

Feet and calves are still sore. I'll be walking at lunchtime again, then some ST tonight. Run tomorrow? Have to see how I feel.

I didn't "plan" my meals for this week on Sunday, as we still had a bunch of leftovers from last week! I made grilled romaine last night, to go with the chicken my husband had cooked in the crockpot. I liked it, the family... not so much. So, I have those leftovers for today. Not sure what to have for breakfast, but I'm thinking maybe french toast with fresh strawberries on top... tis cold and wet here today. Nice warm fall breakfast.

The 5% challenge team is closed now, but they do apparently have one every season. If you want to be added to the list for the winter challenge, you can get an invite for that one when they set it up. I think you just need to send a spark mail to CERIUSLY and ask her to add you. If there's anything else, she can let you know.

I was supposed to run this morning but I was SO tired, I just couldn't drag my butt out of bed in time. I rarely "sleep in" so I gave myself the morning off, with the intent on running tonight. However, my feet hurt. The TOPS of them. I walked at lunch but I'm not running now. I will probably ride the stationary bike and watch a little Netflix later, just to get a few more minutes of exercise in.

First challenge weigh-in is Saturday! Well... second one, but first with any results. My official goal is less than a pound per week, but I'll work my butt off (literally) to pass that!

I held onto for today too! I am kind of slowing down on the exercise but I don't WANT TO!!! My body just can't keep up with my head. Plus I have other stuff to do. I just figured out even I burn 600 calories a day I CAN NOT eat whatever I want! J/K! I knew that! I just thought with all the work I have been doing I could eat a lot more. I keep track but I have resigned myself to the fact that IF I want to LOSE WEIGHT I HAVE GOT to knock the calories in WAY DOWN or it's NOT going to happen. I know all this I'm just kind of cranky from working so hard. It's the last day of my SP week and I really have no calories to eat but haven't eaten yet today & it's after 5 PM! I still have 72 minutes of floor work to and THAT still WONT BE ENOUGH! I'm off to figure out my menu for next week for now. It wont stay the same & tomorrow we are going to an alligator festival so yummy food WIII be consumed! I usually don't eat a lot at those types of things but the thing I do eat I'm sure are pretty calorie packed. But life has to have some fun and enjoyment! emoticon emoticon

That's awesome, Tipy!

I've been doing pretty well, aside from yesterday. emoticon It could have been better, but it also could have been a lot worse! So, I'll take what I got and move on. With a cookie. A fresh, hot from the oven, melt in your mouth chocolate chip cookie my husband made last night. I couldn't resist!!!

My exercise plan for the day is set and other than dinner, so is my food. I'm looking forward to a great day today! emoticon

Just thought I'd drop in while things were good!;)) I have seen a drop on the scale even though my calories are in the 1600/day range. I make up for it exercising. I feel good about the way thing are going. It's VERY, VERY slow but steady right now. I enjoy every morsel too! emoticon emoticon

OOOH! YUCK! Been there done that! Switching scales!

I escaped the week losing point point 9 of a pound which is AMAZING because I averaged over 2000 cals./day. Not everything got entered!!! Close though. I had to burn over 4100 cals for the week. I don't know if you've ever done that but let me tell ya... KEEP THE calories in check cuz IT'S A LOT & NOT FUN!!!! That was strictly exercise calories too!!!! NOT going to go down that road again for a while! NOT WORTH IT in the end!!!! I did find out that it IS possible to eat a lot and still lose weight though!;))

I'm start the week of the 18th at 127.8 which is just fine with me right now!

I weighed in this morning. I decided to use my Wii scale/board rather than the bathroom scale, because it shows weight down to a tenth of a pound. The bathroom scale isn't digital and sometimes seems inconsistent.

But I don't like the Wii scale. It shows 8 pounds more than the bathroom scale. EIGHT! emoticon

My measurements are going down... I know my weight really isn't any different, but that stupid number on the scale... blah. That puts me quite solidly back in the 130's... 134.0. These hi rise apartments need 4 more floors for me!! :p

So, I updated my weight and my goals. Now I'm putting away the scales until next Saturday when the 5% Fall Challenge starts and I have to weigh in again. I'll use the Wii scale, but I won't like it. lol

This morning I finally realized what was going on with me. Gimme a week or so and things should be better. emoticon

Started on my run this morning... 5 minute warmup, then 5 minute run and I had to turn around and head home (see above). So... the next 20 minute run turned into 10 minute walk-really-fast to get home. I walked at lunchtime with coworkers who walk REALLY fast, to the point that I spent half the time jogging to keep up! Now my legs are EXTREMELY sore and WILL be rested the next two days. Tomorrow will be a core workout, maybe some upper body, but NO LEGS!!!

I hear ya! If I could do what it takes to have the 500 differential during week where I'm not on the see food & eat it diet, things would go much faster. But I like to push myself and I guess this is how I get that done. Making it harder so there isn't a grand payoff at the end of the week! emoticon So, you're not the only one who has things goin' wonkie on ya!!!

You are one dedicated chica!! I am not willing to do what it takes to have a 500 calorie deficit every day. That means slower loss for me, but that is OKAY!

My husband gave me a massage last night to help with the soreness, and what do I do? emoticon ST this morning... lower body... squats, lunges, more painful legs!! emoticon I didn't walk at lunch. I will tomorrow instead. Running and walking again tomorrow... this isn't going as planned!! emoticon

Well, my scale is trying to help me out it gave up almost a whole pound since yesterday! YAY! 128.4 to 127.5. Considering my caloric intake this week I'm really shocked that as of today I have lost 1.1 pound this week. I have 2 days left too. emoticon

I ran @ 7 MPH for 1.5 mins. 6 times & I also ran for one minute @ 7 MPH 6 times. That equals 1.74 miles all added together Not to mention walking 3 mins. @ 4 MPH 10 times and 7.5 mins. @ 4 twice. That equals 3 miles. I have done some other things that count as cardio as well. I'm not done yet today. With the amount of cals. I'm taking in I have to do A LOT to get a 500 differential everyday! emoticon I'm making this A LOT HARDER than it has to be. But if I wanna eat what I wanna eat I gotta pay the price in sweat!!! emoticon

So, is the scale treating you well today, or do you want to jump on it a little harder? emoticon

Last night I rode our stationary bike for an hour, just over 13 miles. Then I got up this morning and did my last day of week 6, and walked 2.5 miles at lunchtime. That's almost 3 hours of exercise in the past 24! Totally not me.

I was a good girl today with my food, too. My husband brought home some beer, and a friend of ours stopped by... I didn't join the guys in the beer drinking, keeping to my water (with a little lemon juice added for flavor). Made a yummy salmon salad for dinner as planned. I really wanted something sweet after dinner. I checked all the cupboards for cookies, knowing there weren't any! I think there might be some ice cream in the freezer but I didn't look. I've had my sweets for the day, thankyouverymuch.

My legs are SORE again (still?). I'm looking forward to the weekend and my rest days!!!

Yeah, sort of. There was nothing else to do. Not even any tv reruns entertaining enough to keep ME, miss lazy, in the couch!!! I had another awesome day yesterday. I ended up with a total run time of 16 minutes, one min. @ a time of course!;)) And a total walk time of 105 mins. for a total calorie burn on my tread of 389!!! YAY! It did a little for my my weight. I am not weighing in officially just yet. I woke up late and with my fluid issues weighing 1st thing isn't really fair to me because I swell as I sleep! So as it stands, cuz I looked out of curiosity, I am the same as yesterday so well see when I do the official thing!

You're smarter than me!!! I can be just about in tears but if it's on the schedule I'll push passed it and do it. I probably don't get as much out of those workouts cuz I'm favoring something because of the pain! Stupid but that's me! TOTALLY a Taurus! Stubborn to fault!

Did you have a gigantic burst of energy and enthusiasm or what?!! emoticon

I had more clothes to wear... my husband would run out long before I would, and he sometimes does his own laundry when that happens. lol He is the one that's not working though, so that's OK!

Today was a scheduled C25K day. Didn't happen. I think I might have overdone it with my walks on Thursday and Friday, and the run on Saturday. My left leg is NOT happy with me... all the muscles are a little to a lot painful today. So I gave myself a rest day. Tomorrow I was going to walk again, but have an appointment that will make that not possible at lunchtime... so I think I'll just take another rest day. We'll see how I feel Wednesday morning...
