Oops, here I go again...somehow my posts keep on doubling. Is there a way to delete the double posts?

Hey, that's another good idea! We do have the cable machine at the gym, but not a double one. I guess I can also do it one side at a time or use my resistance bands.

do you have a cable pulley machine at all? my new gym doesn't have a double so i do them one side at a time now. i have also used a resistance band to do them on one side at a time tied around a machine.

I'm about to start Making the Cut this week and when I read the description of Terry Pull, I got totally confused too. We don't have the double cables at the gym so I was trying to figure out what exercise will be best to substitute.

Thanks for the description. I guess I'll just to low dumbell rows instead.

i guess you could do the same movement. i will "try" to explain.

hold onto dumbbells in each hand. extend your arms to shoulder height at the sides of your body with palms facing forward. (you should look like a "t"). now move your elbows in so they touch your ribs keeping your palms facing forward. now extend your arms back out.

doing low dumbbell rows works the same muscle area too.

i am assuming you don't have the cable machine at home. i am trying to think of something that would mimic that movement for you.

I have read and re-read her description of a terry pull and I don't think that I get it. Like I have posted before, I exercise at home, so its tough to mimic all her exercises. I have several sites that I use for exercise examples (shapefit.com is the best so far) but have NOT been able to find the terry pull... Any ideas? Anyone have a better description?

Thanks :)

I will never give up... I will just keep searching for my diamond in the rough.
