I find if we walk in the spirit and are in the word, sin cant control us. Sin is negated and loses its power over us. Its been negated by Christ when he went on the cross and bore our sins; the sins of the whole world. And now we trust in G*D! we dont have to worry about sin, were not controlled by it if we walk by the spirit! Were not living unto the law and were not under the law, but under grace. Because if we are were not living and walking by the spirit were still under the law of sin and death; if we negate Christs death and resurrection! I dont worry about sin, (sin is knowing to do good and not do it!) but if I happen to sin, we just need to go to G*D and ask for forgiveness in Christ name and get into the word for the word washes us clean. You get dirty then you get washed by the word! There is no guilt when we walk in the spirit because we wont fulfill the lust of the flesh!
When Christ is negated and done away with sin bounds us. But we overcame the sin of the world by Christ death and his overcoming of sin! Therefore we are not bound by sin who live for Christ! We are no longer under the law but under Grace.
The law is a teacher that brings people to Christ! so they knwo their need of a saviour! It only binds those who give no recognition to accepting Christ as their saviour! I think too many Christians are still living under the law and not under Christ. Theya re still trying to keep the law and negate the value of Grace! Its why manys till sin. They are not living where they should be in Christ! If they loevd him they woudl no longer be living in sin. Because if we are still judging others we are living in sin . And cant live the light before the sinners, because when we feel condemnation we are still living in sin and will feel condemned! Because when there is sin there is condemnation. But if we are Christ we wont feel condemnation. Because...."NOW, no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus! " See Romans 8. So if your feeling guilty and condemned your still under law! susana
