Yes, my prayers are being answered. Provided they are in accordance with His Will. I am careful when I pray. I do not pray for "things" I don't really need and keep His Word in mind when I pray for others and myself. I always pray for His overruling in all things.
Sometimes the answer to prayer is yes, sometimes no and then there are the "wait" answers. Those are harder than the "no's". If He says no then I know that what I prayed for is not in my best interest, when He says "wait" it is because the timing isn't right. We walk a thin line when we pray. I don't agree with the "Name it and Claim it" preachers. There is boldness when approaching the Throne and there is also greed and arrogance.
"Adam fell that men might be, and men are that they might have joy."
Does God hear the prayers of the lost? Not in the sense of hearing in order to answer. Therefore, no lost person can gain access to the throne of grace. It is only for the redeemed through our Intercessor, the Lord Jesus! Only when our humanity become swallowed up in His deity do we have access to Him in prayer. Are You Being Answered? Vic.
